Hi Danica - the same thing happened to me earlier in the year. However, my 2nd bloodtest showed lower hcg indicating a miscarriage. Make sure you rest up and give it a chance. Miracles can happen.

My2Lnt - congratulations! Great news! When is your bt to confirm?

To everyone else hope all is going well for you! Don't lose hope!

Steph, sounds + to me!!!!

I posted the following on another thread but thought this thread can relate:

Qualifications for POAS addiction:

- you have to have purchased not 1 or not even 2 but SEVERAL hpts to take.

- you start testing early to make sure that hcg from the trigger shot has left your system. You're elated that's it's negative at this point...

- Then you start POAS daily, sometimes more than once a day to check for the faintest of lines.

- for each test, you keep in an accessible location so you can pick it up and look at it at LEAST 20 times a day. (I keep mine on the bathroom counter and the bathroom seems to suck me in every time I walk by it)

- you've been in ever position imaginable, even on your head, studying the test to see if you see some type of line

- you hold the test, while standing on your head also, in different lights (believe me, I've tried them all)

- you keep all of your used test, date them, lay them in order to analyze the line getting darker

- you feel you need to keep it a secret from DH cause you're afraid he will think you are loosing it. You test secretly, early hours of the morning.

- you've become a pro at holding your pee for several hours so that you can test again

- and yes, my favorite, you drag your child out of bed to get his/her opinion. (I even asked my 6 year old for her opinion)

If you guys can think of anymore, feel free to add. This is what I've experienced personally.

Ok, I POAS for the 7th time this am, it looks +. I'll confirm with bw this morning and let you guys know this afternoon...... take care!

OMG girls, so I took a first response early test a little while ago, after drinking tons of decaf this morning (did not use first morning urine), and there are definitely 2 lines there! I am 14 days past my HCG shot, and 9 days past transfer. Do you think it could actually be real? Or maybe still the HCG in my system? I don't know what to think at this point and I'm freaking out! Help! My blood test is not until thursday, what do you guys think?

Marsxp, Do you think it could actually be??? I am so in shock! I guess I'll have to wait until the end of the week to see what happens for sure.

LOL-I just meant that my urine was not very concentrated since I drank all of that decaf this morning. Didn't think it could make it positive. HA HA! But that would be a great trick!

When are you going to test?

Congratulions Jovigal. How exciting. I am soooooooooooo happy for you!!!
It sounds like a bunch of you are having some positive results. These things are so nice to hear because today I am feeling very discouraged.
I am now 4 days past transfer and other than feeling tired with massive heartburn, I feel completely normal. How many days after transfer does implantation occur. Do most women get pregnancy symptoms before beta. I had my a blood test to check my progesterone and it came back 17.7. The clinic said that this is good because they generally like it to be near 20 at this point. Does this sound normal? I am sorry for asking so many questions and I am trying not to lose hope but for some reason do not feel hopeful today.
Good luck to all of you and Jovigal, congrats again.
Love,
Cori

Cori, I think implantation occurrs about 3-6 days after transfer, but I'm not sure. I know how you are feeling I was extremely discouraged last week and really feeling blue. I think it has a lot to do with all of the drugs we are on. I heard the progesterone can cause depression. Some women get pg symptoms before beta, and some don't at all. A friend of mine (she conceived naturally), didn't have any symptoms until she was over 2 months pregnant. I think it's different for everyone. Your progesterone level is good so I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! I'm hoping this works out for all of us, we have all been through so much and definitely need some positive results here. Do not lose hope it is still very early for you.

Have a good night,
Jessica
