Well these little two are having a right good party in my tummy. Every night at about 5pm they start jiggling about. The one on the left always starts first, then the one on the right responds. During the day they seem to do this seperately. Hubby thinks they have a fight every tea time. It's so comforting when they move and very funny when they start these antics at 5. For the last 3 days it's been like this.

How's everyone else? Hey EMS1971...where are you honey?? Missing ya.

Hi Lisa honey, and October bods...

I am doing fine. Had my OB appointment on Monday and all seems to be well. Blood pressure fine, heart and lungs fine, etc etc. My OB is also the GYN COnsultant who did my 4 surgeries so it was really nice to see him in happier circumstances. He was very pleased for us. I have to have 2 extra scans at 30 and 34 weeks just to keep me monitored a bit closer than usual but I have no qualms about that, it'll be nice to keep my mind at rest.

Have a week off work this week. Pottering around at home and trying to sort out the spare room which will become the nursery. I'm going shopping with my mum and sister today for some much needed maternity clothes and might start buying a few baby bits. Halfway through now, I can't believe it and think its ok to start collecting small bits. Once we've had the anomaly scan on 13th June I think we're going to make a start on the bigger stuff and decorating the nursery. So exciting!

Anyway, so glad you all seem well. And Lisa, how was your holiday? I did PM you but maybe you didn't get it?

Lots of love

Hi Emma,

Glad all is well with you and baby. I have my anomoly scan next Thursday with OBGYN. I'm sure all will be well. Both babies are moving loads now and they have really strong heartbeats (listening with doppler).
They are very active at teatime every day. Don't know what thats about as they don't get to eat it then.

I've bought all the big items now. Went to Mamas & Papa's factory shop and saved over 800 quid on cots, dressers, buggy, moses baskets, etc.
Most of the stuff is been stored at our warehouse rather than our home.
I even asked M&P if anything went wrong would they still take the stuff back considering it was sale stuff and they said yes they do in the severe circumstances. It was my hubby's suggestion that we ignore superstition and get on with it. I think it is because we are having loads of work done inside and outside house at moment and our company is moving premises so he wanted the big shopping out of way so he could get on with other things and leave me with the normal shopping.

Holiday was great. I'm going back to Dublin today because mum is not well and in hospital so I will spent a few days there and come back here on Saturday in time for bank holiday.

Keep in touch honey.

Hey Emma and Lisa~

You two sound like life has been busy! It's a treat to see we are all starting to buy the big things at this point. Heaven knows we all deserve the moment when we put our little beanies in all these items! Can't wait!!!

Just had to stop in and say hello after a long weekend at the Oregon coast. Hadn't said hello in days and startd to really miss my future mommies. Our anatomy scan is the 29th so I'll report back as soon as we see our two babies again. So thrilled for us all!

Take care!

Ems, good to hear all is going so well!

And Lisa, you crack me up with your tea time parties :D Good going, twins!!!

Kimberly, best of luck for you for the anatomy scan!

We had our anatomy (structural) u/s today and the baby is doing great. He (yes, it's confirmed now - three different scans cannot be wrong, we're having a precious little boy!!!) is about 15 and a half ounces and 8 inches now. All the important parts were where they're supposed to be.

My big worry now is that I'm having contractions. They're painless (though somewhat uncomfortable) so they're "just" Braxton-Hicks, but I'm having a bit too many too often, so my OB is taking this seriously and wants to see me back next week. For now, though, my cervix was closed and OK in length so that was a relief. Hopefully the contractions will subside now that most of our other stress is gone - we just decided to stay here until the baby is born so I don't have to worry about changing doctors etc, we got a bigger apartment in our very own apt.complex and DH got the job he wanted (will take us to Europe once the little one is here - perfect!!). I also got some mild meds for a possible urinary tract infection although I really don't have any symptoms and the test will take a couple of days to come back. My OB seemed to think it was worth trying; its possible that the contractions could be due to that. Now I'm also not allowed to exercise any more which is a pain, but hey, I'd do anything for the baby...

Hope you're all doing well!

Hey ladies

Thought I'd drop in and see how you are all doing and bump this back up to the top.

We have our 22 wk anomaly scan tomorrow. I am feeling really nervous but am sure all is ok. Baby is jigging away now, and can be felt from the outside when you put your hands on my bump! Its such a great feeling!

Hope you are all doing well. I can't wait to start shopping once we've had the scan!

Lots of love to you and bumps....
