I have just had my six week scan and am now worried as they couldn't see anything in the pregnancy sac because it wasn't very big - 7.5mm. Have to go back next week to see what's happening? Does this mean that it's all going wrong...I have read on here of women hearing heartbeats and seeing things at the 6 week scan but I have come away numb. After so many years of struggle to get here I am desperate for it to be fine but I'm not sure any more.
Lil,

Remember even when baby is much bigger often they are lying in an odd position or maybe your bladder is too full or not full enough. Hopefully this check is just that and I will keep everything crossed that it works out for you.

Big Hugs
Nicky
Hi Lil

I'm in the same position as you. Last Thursday I had a scan at just over six weeks. We saw two yolk sacs but no heartbeat, they said this was completely normal especially in twins and at my next scan, where I'll be just over 8 weeks they'll expect to see a heartbeat then. I, like you, am very worried about this but following all the research I've done I've realised that they're probably right (a bit paranoid I know!) It just feels at the moment that we can't really celebrate our good news until we've jumped over all these hurdles, it seems never ending.

The only thing that will set our minds at rest is the scan we're both waiting on. Best of luck I'm keeping everything crossed.

Love Mandsx
