Since we are on the topic of progesterone, let me ask you this…
I have had 2 fresh cycles and both times have started taking the shots (1cc) right after egg retrieval. However, no more blood tests are done until they test for pregnancy. So, how do they know if 1cc is the right amount?
I am doing a FET in June and was wondering if I should ask them to increase the progesterone. I had a mc last time and thought maybe the increased progesterone might help prevent another one.
I am 33 and remember them saying the dose depends on your age. The older you are, the more they tell you to take.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

My clinic monitors progesterone frequently. However, the PIO injections have a great reputation, so maybe your clinic finds them to be so reliable that monitoring is not needed? You'd have to ask them what their rationale is.
Hard to know what causes a given failure or mc. Perhaps it's a bad embryo (many assume this), but I tend to think there are more forces at work. You may be correct about the P levels. I can tell you it's an area that needs more research.
