Hey guys mind if I join in? I just went through IVF/ICSI and my beta today was 708 at 12 dpt. I am so thrilled. This puts me due in January sometime. My first u/s will be on June 5th!!! I am so excited that I can hardly stand it!!!

Hi all,

Well now that the first hurdle (getting pregnant) is finally over, I am now pertrified of suffering a miscarriage. It's to the point that I can't think of anything else. Anyone else with this? Am I just going crazy? Any advice to help calm my nerves and fears?

i am the same way, Stephanie, and reading girls who had misscarages at the same week as I am now is not helping at all.

I totally understand about what you are saying. It sucks. We just have to try to stay positive because of the fact that we have no basis for this feeling right now unless bleeding and cramping like crazy. We need to enjoy being preggo while we can. It is so important to good mental health. Hang in there and try to focus on the forward. I really understand that it is hard. Try the best you can girl you have your little beanie growing in there!!!

New here! Finally feel that I'm able to join this board. I'm 5 weeks and 1 day today. I just got my 3rd beta results and feel comfortable about everything, though its early. A little nervous it may be twins though. I calculated my due date at Jan 24th.
What do you think of my beta levels?

Welcome HHH. Congrats on good numbers.
Mine were 950 10dp 5dt , 2328 12dp and 32000 18dp. My scan showed 3 sacs! Your numbers are great!
My second u/s is on Tuesday. I am hoping we get to see/hear heartbeats! In the mean time, I am not feeling so great. Been fighting a bad bout of morning sickness all week. Nothing has actually come up but the feeling is not fun. I guess I can't complain. This is what we have been working on trying to achieve for years! I should be happy I am feeling sick!

StephanieD- I can totally relate. Especially this week when I started bleeding. I couldnt help but think, this is the begining of the end. Turned out to be nothing but it is still hard to relax!

Since I work nights and sleep all day I have "night sickness" when I get up at 5pm!!! It is really unreal. I like it though and welcome it!

You numbers sound great! My u/s is on June 5th and I am dying to know what is going on in there!!! I work at a hospital and one of the nurses was like lets just go to OB and see what is happening...I would but I want to see the h/b and you can't really see that until 6 weeks anyways. I am so thrilled to be here though! I am still sitting here in disbelief half the time!!!
Congrats! When I looked up my due date they are all a little different but most say Jan 24th. Looking forward to a good 9 months!

Hi ladies,

Well what a crazy day I had yesterday. We went for scan and there was only 1 baby with a heartbeat. So baby B our late bloomer didn't make it.
they saw a third sac that was empty so now I may miscarry the 3rd sac and they said it should not effect the good pregnancy. Baby A is fine with a heartbeat of 176, and measuring excatly to the day, so i only pray that this baby will be fine. I am so scared that I will go back and not see a heartbeat next time. I am 8 weeks 1 day. I can't wait until I reach that 12 week mark. My OBGYN also said that I cant take the tests at 12 weeks because they will come back abnormal due to the mutiple sacs, so they asked if I wanted an Amnio. I don't have to decide now but I will have to at 17 weeks. Life just isn't fair. Please pray for my remaining baby, that it will continue to grow and make us the parents we are so longing for.

Hi Ladies,

I had to take a day to get myself together, the nausea and tiredness has really been getting to me. I felt bad when it left because I thought something was wrong and I feel bad when it's here. I'll stop complaining, like someone said it's what we've all been wishing for.

I was able to switch my 2nd u/s to next Tuesday instead of Thursday, I'm really excited about that. I can't wait to see what's going on and to hear heartbeats. I will be 7 weeks when I go in.

Welcome HHH, you really have good strong beta numbers. Mines were lower than yours and I'm having twins so it's a strong possibility you may be also.

Lisa sorry about baby B not making it. I had a diminishing triplet 10 years ago and my twin girls continue on just fine. I'm sure baby A will continue on just fine. He/she has a great srong heartbeat.

Rikireese you and I are feeling the same way. Nothing has come up but just that nausea feeling. You and I also have our scans on the same day. Can't wait to hear your results.

StephanieD, I know what you mean about worries after worries. Each day is a milestone. Just relax and take care of yourself and know we are here for each other.

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement and support. I'm trying to enjoy my pregnancy now! I have no nausea and no other symptoms except for extreme hunger and wierd cravings; also peeing so often I can't get a good night's sleep.

I have my first ultrasound on Thursday, May 31st! We'll find out if it's one or two. Do you know when they can first see the heartbeat. I'll be 5 1/2 weeks by my ultrasound and I think that might be a tad early.

TansRN- congrats on your BFP. Good luck at your ultrasound

Rikirees- glad to hear your 3 beanies are snuggling in!

HHH- welcome to the January 2008 babies board. Your numbers are incredible! I sense twins!

Hi everyone. I love how our board has such a span of weeks. I am due Jan. 1 and now we have people joining that must be due Jan 31. I think it gives us all perspective and hopeful hope to those that are a few weeks away from each other that things can continue. I am also feeling at 8 weeks 2 days that 12 weeks seems like forever away.

Tanya, sorry to bring up old sadness, but what did they tell you when you miscarried at 12 weeks - had you had a strong HB up to that point? It won't happen again - all our good wishes will carry all of us forward.

I had an u/s today at HB was 169. I do feel a little calmer this week than last, but I am still stressed.

Hey do you guys mind if I join over here? About me.. Like Sneaky Tanya I went for Beta on 5-23 and got my BFP with a beta of 98. Had 2nd beta Friday and my "lil bit" is in there working hard to get 2nd beta to 221. 3rd Beta is tomorrow Sunday. It's killing me because my clinic will not schedule sono till beta levels hit 1000 and I am just not there yet.... Yeah I am a lil anxious!! But should have in the next 2 weeks I hope.
