Good morning Ladies!

Karia - try not to worry about the brown blood (I know it easier said than done!) but they do say brown blood is old blood, maybe from the procedure. Try to stay positive!
You asked about my egg quality - My consultant seems to think that egg quality is the problem, although everything looked great at transfer. In my fresh cycle, I had 14 eggs colleceted, 12 ferts, 2 put back (both grade 1 - a 4 cell and a 5 cell) and 6 frozen. This was all at day 2, so its possibe that they wouldn't have made it any further. I had 2 grade 1 frosties put back for my FET and that didn't work either. I think that is why he is suggesing that it might be egg quality. They don't really know and that is the most frustrating thing! He has said that down regging for 2 months will help supress the endo and hopefully produce better quality eggs. He has also upped my stim dosage. I will take 6 ampoules of menopur and then after 3 or 4 days come down to 4. He said that lots of follicles to begin with are better for quality. Who knows

Daly - I'm sorry to read about your poor dog - I hope he is on the mend. How is down regging treating you? I have had massive headaches - which are not pleasant! Your RE sounds like he knows his stuffand he has certainly got you well informed. I really hope from the bottom of my heart it works for you this time.

Christine - Good Luck with your scan on the 30th June, i bet you can't wait to see your little beanie again! I'm so sorry to read about your Dad - there are no words, but I am glad you have your DD, to help keep you strong.

Susan - yes I had grade 4 endo, when they did a laparoscpy last June (It was meant only to be a laparotomy, but they couldn't get in because my bowels, intestines and uterus was all stuck together) They said they got alot of it but some was too close to my bowel to get. It has ruled my life too since I was about 16. AF's are excruciating and I am unable to do anything for the first 2-3 days. I used to pass out when I was younger, although that has happened for a few years now. It makes me very cross, because despite numerous visits to Doctor when I was young they did nothing except painkillers and mefanimic tablets. So all this time it has just been growing! Sorry rant over  It has been better since the surgery but still painful.
I don't think I have had my immunes checked - what are tnf levels?
I'm keeping everything crossed for your BFP - not long now! Stay away from evil Pee sticks!

Smartie - any news yet? I hope you are too busy celebrating!

Donna - sweetie, how are you doing? Thinking about you!

Jovigal - congrats on those numbers - looking forward to hearing about your scan!

Wow - that was a long post - sorry!

Hi Vicky, Vlada and anyone I have missed, Big Hugs to you all!

Hey guys,

Just a quick post from me today.

Charlie and Susan, I wanted to give you an update. Thank you for asking about Wolfy. He is now on 6 meds and IV. He can't seem to stop regurgitating and vomiting and now may be at risk for pneumonia. His chest xray is sketchy. We have met a lovely family who's dog ate Christmas grass and now has a j-tube (tube directly to gut) because his intestines were so torn up with the grass. (oh what animals will eat!!) He has been there 14 days!!! That is a pretty penny, especially given he had 2 surgeries. The cost is just unbelievable. So I'm getting a bit down and tired with trecking back and forth twice a day in betweeen work to visit him. He really seems sad. This coupled with the lovely lurpon down-regging is not the best combo. I'm still waiting for todays update to see if he kept his vomiting under control over night. I dont' mean to drone on. Thank you for asking about him. I'll give him your love.

How's the lupron treating you Charlie? I'm just tired and have sore bbs! Didn't expect that one! No headaches.

I'm sending you extra sticky vibes Susan! It's almost test day!!!

Karia - saying extra prayers for you test day. Just like Charlie said, brown blood is old and I bled 4 weeks with my bfp. Keeping all fingers crossed!!

Big hi to everyone :)

Daly - I hope you have had some good news overnight about Wolfy. It must be difficult and tiring for you - It must be hard for you to see him sad and to leave him there every time - We have two dogs and I don't know what I'd do if they got ill. Sending Big Hugs to Wolfy for a speedy recovery!
My downregging is ok - I take something called Gonapeptyl, its an IM injection just once a month. I'm tired alot and I have headaches, but other than that ok!

Susan and Karia - sending you both extra buckets of sticky baby dust and keeping everything crossed!

Well I've got a week off for May half term - hooorray! We have no money though so, just going to potter around the house, and go out for walks!

Hugs to everyone!

Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to stay busy to keep my mind of the miscarriage. I really believe I bled and lost the baby due to my progesterone being so low. The IVF clinic would not check my hormone levels. I had to go to the ER to get them to check it. It was at a 6.

I am going to tell the clinic that if they don't plan on checking my progesterone and giving me shots instead of the vaginal pills for the next IVF, I will have to go elsewhere.

I would have rather had a BFN then miscarry. Does that make sense?

How are you all doing?
Any plans for Memorial Day?

TTYL

Donna

Donna,

I am so sorry for your miscarriage. I can't say I have been in the same place but my heart goes out to you. (((((hugs))))) I hope you have something fun going for this long weekend. I have been spending a lot of time in the hot tub (a big no no during cycling) and going out with friends. We live in Northern California near the coast so I have been over to the coast twice this week for drinks overlooking the beach. Lovely! I don't see our RE until June to see what is next for us. For now just trying to shake the depression.... Hang in there!
