i got a BFP!
my 1st beta was only 7.6, and 2nd one was only 14.5 (2 days apart).
i am told these numbers are very low, and i should remain cautiously optimistic. i have beta's scheduled every 48 hrs for the next couple weeks or so. i guess that as long as the #s continue to double/grow, that this could be a viable pregnancy!
im so damned nervous, and excited!
anyone else out there experienced such low betas?

It depends on when you are testing - it may be very early, hence the low numbers. It also matters more that the numbers double every 48-72 hours. Beta testing every 48 hours for a few weeks seems like torture! I have not read that many others have had testing this often. Most I read have it anywhere from 11-14 days post transfer, then a second 48-72 hours later. As long as the numbers approximately double, that is it. I had additional testing done when I had bleeding, and everything continued to be fine. Enjoy the BFP and your doubling HCG. Even very low betas can be very good pregnancies! Congrats!
Amh, god luck i hope your beta' keep rising. I had a very low beta but my numbers went straight back down, as long as they keep doubling you will be ok. at my clinic they have recorded a live birth from a first beta reading of 3 so hang in there and the very best of luck.
