HI everyone,
I would like to join this thread if that's ok.I'm 6wks 2 days due to my ultrasound last Thursday. I got to see and hear the baby's heartbeat at 115!!!They also said I have a small blood sac in my uterus.My doctor did not seem to concerned but of course I'm really worried.He said they usally go away on their own.Anyone have any experience with this? I would love any feedback.

StephanieD - Can't wait to hear your Scan results on the 31st! They might be able to see the heartbeat since you will be close to 6 weeks. I know the wait is hard with symptoms coming and going. Hang in there! Keep us updated! So you are in Mass as well? Do you mind telling me what Fertility Center you went through?

HHH - Welcome to the January Thread! Your beta levels look wonderful! Mine were 203 12dpt, 456 14dpt and 7351 21dpt and everyone thought it looked like twins. But it turns out to be one wonderful beanie! I had similar numbers last time as well and have one beatuiful DD. So the scan is the true indicator of whether or not you have multiples so hang in there until June 7th! Take care and look forward to your results!

As for me - I'm just hanging in there waiting for my 2 Scan on May 30th. I've been a bit nervous and this 2ww between scans has taken forever! I have no feelings that thing aren't going well - I just can't wait to see our little beanie again! My dad has told me the reason he is trying the 2 treatment a week protocol for his cancer this time is to hopefully be able to live long enough to see this baby born. He adores our DD and she was his hope when he went through the first round of treatments in the winter. This round of treatments will only buy him a little more time but can't cure him. I hate to see him do this to himself since it will make him so sick. But I want him around as long as possible with as little pain as possible. He's been my best friend my whole life - I was adopted and him and my mom are the best parents I could ever have hoped for. Well enough about me. Wishing all of you lovely ladies much Baby Angel Dust. Saying many prayers for all of you for wonderful pregnancies!

Hey guys
I am just sitting here waiting again! I am 5 weeks today!!!! Why do we always have to be hurrying to be waiting? I am jsut trying to patiently wait for my scan on the 5th of June. I am hoping that I will be able to hear/see a heartbeat. I will be 6w and 2 days at the time of the scan....hoping.

I had a stong h/b right up until I gave birth...I rented one of those dopplers. The best thing I have ever done. I listened to my baby whenever I started getting anxious about things. I will be renting one again when I get closer to ten weeks. I am looking to be positive girl but I know I will feel better when I know that the baby is where it should be and I can see the heart!

Well my "lil bit" is working hard I guess He/She knows I'm as impatient as Tanya and want to have my sono done LOL Because my beta jumped to 504 ....Hopefully Tuesday after my 4th beta my HCG will hit 1,000 and we will have a date for that...

Congrats on the great numbers! That is really awesome! I am so happy for you and I know that you will be happy when You can get in as well. I know I have asked you this but when is your u/s just when your numbers are over 1000??? Just wondering. I will be 6 wks and 2 days when I go in for the real one and I was hoping to be able to see a flicker of a heartbeat!!! I can't wait to see that.

Tanya - Yeah my clinic schedules them after I hit 1,000, But good news is at this rate that should be Tuesday. Tanya that is funny I told DH what you said about the ER.. LMAO he said yeah that sounds like something I would do to and "we have a sicknes LMAO"
OK here is the big question.... When do you plan on telling friends that you are preggy? My MIL is more anxious than I am I think just trying to get an idea I know there is no right time but trying get an idea.

Just because of my history last summer...it was a shock because I have 2 DS's with no problems...I am going to wait until about the 4th of July just to protect myself. That is my personal situation though. It was so hard when people were coming up to me and talking about the baby and asking me and I had to tell them I had a m/c. It was horrible. I relived it every time I told someone and ended up crying. I just have to wait. A lot of people tell right away but I just can't I have just told a few good friends...thats it. I am so excited to go in to see a h/b. Trying to be positive....trying all the time!!!! I am excited and nervous!

Just wondering if it's normal NOT to feel pregnant; I know everyone is different and it's still really early (a lot of people at this stage wouldn't even know they were pregnant yet). Last week I had one or two days of nausea, and some wierd cravings. Now I feel fine- except for lots of blue lines on my breasts (sorry if TMI).
Also I'm wondering about stress. I don't have stress in my personal life, but I'm a nurse so that can sometimes be VERY STRESSFUL. Just wondering about the impact of brief stress (most research is on chronic stress).
Christine B- I had my fertility work at MGH. I work there so I'm a bit biased- I am very pleased with everything here.

You probably won't notice any symptoms as it is early. I was in my sixth week when I started 'all-day' sickness, but a lot of people never have morning sickness. 10 years ago with my twins I had nothing at all the entire pregnancy. I drove my mom crazy asking her why I don't have any symptoms. It's definitely not the case this time.
I use to live in Boston and went to Boston IVF.

I think I was between 12-15 weeks. I guess that was early but, of course, I was looking to show around 8 weeks. I started out with triplets and one dimised at 10 weeks. I'm 7 weeks now and already showing a little. My first u/s showed two sacks, I hope that will still be case on Tuesday when I have my 2nd scan.

I am 8 weeks and can't figure out if I am showing or not. I defenitelly have a lil belly, which is freaking me out. It is kind of too early to show and because I didnt' tell that I am pregnant yet to most of my friends, it looks weird.

The good thing is that big tops and overlay tops are 'in' now so you can buy a some of them until you're ready to spread the good news. I haven't told anyone at work and I've been wearing those cute overlay tops and skirts to hide my secret. Do you know if you're having twins yet or not?
