Milanka,

I delivered my girls at 32 weeks and we all went home together. It's funny, every since they were 5 they've been asking for twin brothers, one for each one of them to play with. And what'll you know.....

Hi ladies:
I am back from a long weekend away. Tuesday is my second ultrasound and we are hoping to see/hear heartbeats. However, I have been spotting every day for the past week mopstly just darkened mucus when i go to the potty (sorry if tmi), with one day being a bit heavier than the rest. Last week the dr. said it was nothing to worry about so I havent "worried" about it. I hope everything is ok and I can't wait to get in there first thing Tuesday!
I was pretty sick all weekend with some very bad "all day" sickness. Today it seems much better, which only makes me nervous. I guess you have some good days and some bad.
And the cramping continues...
Hope everyone is doing well.

rikirees - let us know asap tomorrow. we'll be thinking about you. like i said before - my acupunturst said that 90% of her ivf patients spot.

steph - i am 8 weeks 5 days and i haven't had one symptom. not one. some people say: "i don't have any symptoms except nausea or tiredness". i'm talking NONE. i wish i had a sign too just so in b/w the u/s i could know something was going on, but i have nothing and the HB is 169.

Hey guys just checking in with you all! I hope that things are going well. It sounds really interesting here! I can't wait to get in for my u/s...June 5th is forever away...gonna call the clinic to see if they have an earlier appt!!!
Steph
I am a nurse as well on a cardiac unit and it can get very stressful! We had a code and I was running like crazy the other day stressing out... I know what you mean about it. My pregnancy book says that it is indeed the chronic stress that is not good for you and baby but stress here and there is not going to do much...just as an FYI

Well ladies I just came back from the Dr. He detected 4 heartbeats! One set of identitcal twins with strong heart beats, and 2 others. One sac originally looked empty but in the corner of the sac you could see what looks like another heartbeat. We will be monitoring everything closely. It seems the blood clot is gone and the Dr. assured me that the spotting is nothing to worry about at this point. I am in shock. This roller coaster of emotions...I seriously burst out laughing at the Dr. today. I am just over 6 weeks today and i started with the bagging clothes, though I dont think I will be able to hide it much longer.
Until now, I was too nervous to buy any books but now I think reality is setting in. I think I will swing by the book store tonight on my way home.

oh my goodness!! Rikireese, that is awesome. I would still be laughing :D . That is great news. What was DH reaction?

I also just got back from my u/s and it looks like baby B is not going to make it. There was no heartbeat just an empty sac. Baby A measured at 7w5d with a HB of 164. I'm still over joyed and excited. God knows best. I go back in two weeks and that will probably be my last appt with my RE. She told me to go ahead and make an appt with my OB as it may take a few weeks to get in.

So now that the baby measures 7w5d do I change my date to match that or is it just the baby is a little bigger? My previous ticker was 7w1d.

rikirees - oh my goodness. oh my goodness. that is insane. your odds are very strong and you should really buy out the whole bookstore.

mdterry - my doc. said there is a 4 day margin of error with the measurement of the weeks at this point. sometimes i've been over, some under, but still go with your original days until things get further along. sorry about baby B - i know that i was upset about not having two babies and losing one embryo, so there must be a feeling of loss, but if i remember correctly, you were maybe nervous about the thought of two?

rainrainrain - congratulations. what a great feeling!

ladies - even though i had that strong 169 heartbeat on friday, i am so worried in between u/s. i am going to wait until next tuesday for my last RE ultrasound and it's the longest we've waited in b/w and i think that's what's making me more nervous.

Mattie- I am sorry about your news. I know how much you wanted another set of twins to go along with your girls. I will be praying for Baby A and B too. The DH is stunned and starting to realize how much we as a family will depend on him to take care of us.
Rainrain- thanks for your well wishes. Congrats on your strong heartbeat.
Wannabe- i know how you feel in between. I wish I could back every day to make sure it is all ok. We have worked SO hard to get to where we are at and we need constant reassurances that it won't be taken away from us. Your baby has a strong heartbeat, that should help you be more relaxed. I will be praying for you.
Thanks again adomsoa and Malinka.

I am so sorry to hear about your baby B that is horrible. I am so glad that you have one healthy one in there though!!! Glad that you got to see it and know that things are looking good there.

I am still waiting for my first u/s...I wish that it would hurry up and get here already so that I would know what is going on. LOL I go in on June 5th.
