HPT -- Positive 3 times on day 15 and 17

Post by SATX »

Wife Triggered on the 9th of May. Retrieval was on the 11th. Transferred 2 emby's on the 14th (7 and 8 cell).

We have been sitting patiently on our hands, but as of wednesday i bought some clear blue easy (the plust and minus) tests to take thursday morning first thing before the POI injection.

Tested the 24th and got results that sorta looked negative, but you could make out the positive line, just faintly.

Decided to save the second test for this morning.

Tested this morning at 0630, same kind of resulst, darkish negative line, but you could definately make ou the cross line and see the plus, just not as definate as i was hoping for..

We went to lunch today, and i said ok i cant take it...we got to get the digital ones.

So we bought the Clear blue easy digital tests. We waited 4hrs in between emptying the bladder. Tried the test today at about 5:00pm. It was the most excruciating 3 minutes of my life i think...but it read pregnant.

Im trying to remain cautiosly optomistic, but i am freaking out...is this real? does this really mean she is pregnant?!?!

So many years of negative tests, i just have a hard time believing they are capable of reading positive.

Congratulations!!!

12 days after a day 3 transfer and the HPT finally picks it up? Sounds about right.

Will your clinic be running a blood test soon? At most clinics, you'd have had one by today.

We did the first test on monday the 21st. they didnt say anything about levels..other than she needed to up the POI to 1.5cc and estrogen to two patches.

we go for the second test monday which they have sorta said is the "pregnancy test"

We did the Xfer on the 14th, so that is basically 2 weeks.

You might ask them what your hCG levels were on the 21st (7 days post day 3 ET) when they give you your results.

Our clinic measures hCG more than once, and we don't tell the patient until after one of the later ones. I suspect yours does the same.

congradulations and just remain positive it sounds like this is it so enjoy everymoment you deserve it. i cant wait to get a bfp for my husband because i have two kids he has none and he really wants one and he does deserve it and i know he will be a great father if you see how he is with other kids and espically his father wasnt there for him. he tells me that espically if its a little girl we could never break up and if i tried he would take me to court to make the judge force me to stay with him. so i know the feeling you feel he will feel because he has never had that feeling before and trust me it is real so congrads again on your bfp

I am speaking for my wife, but i am not sure what the levels were the first time, honestly i dont think they told her, only that it was low and she needed to up her progesterone and estrogen intake.

The second test (for the bfp) they said the levels were right on target, but also didnt give a number.

Also, about the spotting, my wife never had any. She barely had any symptoms at all throughout the 2ww. At the very begining and then very randomly throughout the 2ww some cramping, but that was it.

Home Preg. test

Post by all tied up »

I thank you so much for letting me know I'm not going crazy. ...lol. I was told the norm for your estrogen level should be 30 I know because the added more to me and I asked why they said it should 30 and I was 24. Hope I was able to help.
I have been having some cramping but not much only when I'm up on my feet for a while. And that goes away when i sit down. I did a home preg. test and it was A VERY FAINT POSITIVE. I know its too early but I had to know...but then to read today that it can be a false positive because of the HCG shot. I can't win.........lol
