I just want to encourage everyone to try to stay positive while going through the process!
I got married a little less than a year ago and my husband and I were both 39 and about to turn 40. We both wanted kids but I knew that the chances (at least statistically speaking) were decreasing because of my age. And, to make things more complicated, my husband had testicular cancer in his 20s which meant a lower sperm count, low motility, etc. It's actually a miracle that he is producing any sperm!
I went through two unsuccessful IUIs and then took a month off because I just thought I needed a break.
We decided to go through IVF in February and miraculously....I'm now 3 months pregnant!

My best advice is to really try and stay positive and educate yourself as much as you can about the process. I was constantly bombarded with negative statistics...esp. about my age!
I wish everyone the best and if anyone has any questions, I'd love to chat!
