Donor sperm....Petition

Please sign this, donor sperm is at an all time low in the UK......I have 3 lots of donor sperm in storage, if i continue to get BFN's then it's game over for us, and it's so un fair, we have to have our baby dream shattered because fo the new law bought in, in 2005.

Please help us by signing this.... xxx

This means so much to me and dh.....

DH has no sperm so with out Donor sperm, it means we can never have our baby.

I want to add, that most donor concieved kids dont evn want to search their donors out, as they are frm a lovin' family, and there's no need.

The donor is not the dad!!

When u donate blood, bone marrow, what ever..... does that donor demain rights over the person recieving the blood, bone marrow what ever???

It's no different!

My dh hasnt any sperm, so is using donated sperm from some one who has plenty, this helps us and well being........

We have enough sperm for 3 iuis after this time, it's going to be struggle..... and with me being 32 this year, i dont have many fertile years left...... Please also speak to your dh's and ask them if they woul consider donating sperm......

I am not alone, i know 100's of couples in the same boat.

Please help!!

Hi Nicki

Do you know if there's any restrictions on donating sperm? I know with eggs you have to be under a certain BMI and have no ongoing issues like diabetes etc. Was just wondering if it's the same for sperm

Where are you located??
I dont know about donors having restrictions. Obviously all sperm is checked for diseases, but the ins and out i dont know at the mo, i can find out tho.... PM me, if u want xxx

I would have signed if I could but, I am in the US so, I can't. Can you order sperm from the US? I don't understand why the make it so difficult for you in the UK. without donor eggs & sperm I wouldn't be pg with my twins. I'm sorry I can't help.

I have signed too Nicki. I hope momentum builds and a huge number of people sign up. When i was at Uni almost all the guys donated sperm for what they called "beer money"! I am quite sure under the new legislation they would be apprehensive about donating which is just tragic.
