Cori and Bebe, I'm so sorry about your BFN's. Trust me I've had several and I know exactly how you feel but don't give up yet, sometimes it takes more than once before it works.
Cori, I take Metformin as well, is it very hard on your stomach? It's very hard on mine.

Wanttodiscuss, OMG that sounds like a BFP to me!! Yay!!!

Steph, I will be thinking of you tomorrow. I have my next Beta on Friday and I'm of course a nervous wreck abou it. Let me know how it goes tomorrow.

Marsxp, How are you feeling hun? Doing any better? I know how it feels to be overcome with the sadness and it's just horrible. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Jovigal, I had a miscarriage around 7-8 weeks too a few years ago, so I am a nervous wreck as well. Let us know how everything goes.

Hi all,
This is my first posting although i have been on the forum a few times looking for information and reassurance. Its a great resource and you all are a great bunch.

I am currently in the middle of my 2ww. 3rd attempt of IVF. HPT yesterday which was a BFN. Had my ET on the 19th so this got me really depressed. Don’t think Im going to HPT again. The clinic has given me a HPT for use on the 4th. Not optimistic at all and really depressed as this is our last attempt with own eggs. RE recommended donor if we want to go ahead….

Anyway Congrats ! to all who got BFPs. Really happy for you all.

Bunky - Thanks for best wishes my friend... I went today after all that worry my beta went from 852 up to 1829!!!! My RE saw how sad I was and we had a talk before I knew what my numbers were she said that as long as numbers went up she would do sono to take a look. So relax I was a bundle of stressed out nerves to. I am wishing you all the best and those numbers to go thru the roof!!!!!!! I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Let me know how things go as I will do the same :D

Mini - Welcome and keep your chin up to - just think you could have had a late implanter and it is too early for your test. So think positive!!

Bunky 99,
I was taking Glumetza which apparently a form of Metformin but with less side effects. I seem to handle it very well other than the 1st 2 weeks. I am now on Metformin (last 3 days) and I seem to be handling it pretty well but do have occasional cramping. Hoe many pills a day do you take?

My2Lnt-Thanks for the reassuring words. I am keeping myself propped up with the hope that I tested too early. Really tempted to go buy one of the early tests but not sure if I want to mess with my weekend...i could make or break it. I practically did not sleep the night before i did the hpt. My official test (as instructed by the clinic) is on Mon 4th so i am hoping i can be patient till then...

Cori, Bebe, and Marsxp - I am so sorry for your sad news. I do know how you feel though having done this quite a few times. Hang in there and try again right away. You are young and your chances of success on the second try are very, very good. Did you do a post IVF meeting with your doctor yet? They may have some answers for you. Good luck and keep us posted.

DH and I are going to our post consult on Tuesday. Since we had such a positive response during the last cycle - lots of eggs and many fertilized and so many available for transfer - and still got a BFN, I think she will recommend donor eggs because of my age. I am ok with that but it will be hard to hear. I am also worried about the cost of a donor cycle. If we do it we won't have money for adoption. I guess we will have a lot to discuss.....I am just not ready to give up on children yet.

Hi geckogirl!
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. We did meet with our RE and he said that this past cycle, we just had a really bad cycle with the premature ovulation and everything and he believes that this time will be a much better cycle for us. We are going to try again in July.
I think your attitude about everything is beautiful and I agree with you------ don't EVER give up on your dreams. You are meant to be a mother and I truly believe that you will be. I can't wait to hear when it finally comes true for you. Keep us posted. You are in my thoughts. Always go with what your heart tells you.

Hi Ladies,

I am currently on my 3rd day of my 2ww. This is my time at IVF or any fertility treatment. DH and I decided to go for IVF since we had the coverage for at least 1 cycle. It been a long road ttc and I can't believe next week I will know the results.

Today I am feeling a little cramping and still bloated. So back to the sofa for me.

How are you ladies feeling.

Hello fellow 2ww'ers - I test on 29th too (Hi Vick!y)
although I am in Oz so almost a day ahead of you girls. I had 1 X8 cell and 1X 3 to 4 cell - 2 day old embies. This is my 4th 2ww and I'm feeling the calmest I've ever felt this time. (I must be getting used to all this and becoming veteran.....)

Wishing you all lots of luck .

Vicky, Carebear & Angie-Thanks for the reply. I wanted to make sure I wasn't alone :D

I have also been feeling pretty calm during this wait as this is the 3rd time. However, I gave in and POAS this morning and got a BFN-8dp5dt.

Now part of me thinks it's over and part of me thinks maybe it's just to early. I should have stayed away from those evil things

Hi guys,

I'm at the end of my 2ww and just about to start the second part of the 2ww. I just POAS yesterday and actually got a faint line. Poor dh and I were wondering around the entire house to observe it under all sorts of different casts of light. Ofcourse, being a full-on pee stick addict, I poas today and it was darker!!! We have lost so many preg's that this is just one more hurdle on this long journey. They moved my hcg bt up to Monday.

I was hoping to share this insanity wiht some others in the same boat. If the bt is positive, then it's onto the 2nd 2ww, waiting for a hb! Seems we are always waiting!!

Viciki - We are finally here! It seems like ages ago we were talking about starting stims! STICKY DUST to you my dear April friend.

ltaylor - When is your bt? I'm so sorry about your POAS. Those pee sticks are very evil little monsters  I'll say a special chant to undo the pee stick curse for you

Brandi - WOW! You had great embies. That sounds like a really good cycle.

Angie - That's great you are feeling so calm. Sending wonderful sticky vibes down to Oz for you and you great embies.

I'm sending tons of wonderful sticky dust to you all and look forward to hearing about your positive pee sticks or blood results.
