Hi all, I had EC on April 21st/ET April 23rd and am supposed to test on weds 7th of May. I've done loads of tests and am thrilled to say i'm pregnant!! If result on hpt showed up on day 10 after et is this really early? Could that indicate twins? I am also abit confused about how pregnant i am since EC was exactly 2 weeks ago today does that make me 2 weeks pregnant but if i go back to last AF i'm 4 weeks and 5 days?? I'm going for a scan in 2 weeks but some of you on here seem to be having them in week 6/7. What should they see this early? Sorry lots of questions but obviously i'm a novice! Any advice would be appreciated love Adey xxx

Hi Adey Congratulations and welcome to this side!! You need to add 2 weeks from the date of EC/ET. ie. if your test tomorrow is 2 weeks after ET, then you are 4 weeks pregnant. Hope that makes sense! I had my first scan at 6 weeks and could make out 2 sacs (dark blobs) and 2 tiny little pulses that are heartbeats. At 8 weeks,you can just about see the shape of an embryo in the sacs. Hiya Adey Congratulations on your positive test and welcome to this side! I had my first scan at 7 weeks + 1 day and you could see and hear heartbeats clearly by then. Good luck & take care, Luv Rachel X

great news.. just remember that if you are on meds you could get a false reading....that is what they told me. but i was on a lot of meds.2 different shots and taking 3 different pills. get on a good prenatal multivitamin.. great news has been being posted... becky
