Morning girls

Hope having a good weekend and enjoying the weather!

I feel totally different now that reality has sunk in and no matter which way we look at it or what the hospital tell us to expect at this moment in time I am carrying twins! I am keeping plenty of positive thoughts that the lighter fighter will pull through and keeping sensible mind that it is up to mother nature and there is nothing we can do but hope.

I have however checked the baby books and 15mm clearly states a 7 week pregnancy (not an 8 wk like the hos said) which is what I thought and 4mm is 6 weeks. That means there is only a week between them and as one twin is generally smaller than the other anyway and one was a 5 cell embie and one a 4 cell is it possible that it could catch up???

Anyways on to my loving supporters:-

Lucy - Hows u? Hope you are doing ok. x Have you discussed stuff with your sis further? At the end of the day it is good you have that option and hope you can make a mutual decision. As for the job....good luck tomorrow!!! Really hope it goes well. I know they say honesty is the best policy but you can't jeopordise one job for the other you may not get. I would be inclined to accept if you get an offer and see what happens with the other. You can always pull out of the first offer and what is meant to be etc....sure it will work out ok for ya x

Lisa - How are you hun? Got a date for your 3D/4D scan yet? Bet is was amazing hearing the heartbeat. DH is so attached to both our babies already, taking the "Junior 2" situation very hard actually, amazing how you love them instantly isn't it! Hope all is well and your mum is feeling much better. As for the "step gran" situation I will have a similar dilemma. My sis doesnt get on with my step dad at all and I do. He gave me away at my wedding and she was furious, no idea how she will react when he becomes a grandad to mine. Mum and him have been married 30 years next......

Nikki - How did the interview go? Did you get good vibes? Hope it went well and you get it if fancy it. Good luck too with the other application. When is the interview for that? Know what you mean about hating where you work. I CAN"T STAND MY FIRM!!!!! Really hope interviews pay off for ya. Did you manage to get your garden done yesterday? Hope so and you are relaxing in it reaping the benefits today.

Souris - How are you feeling. Hope keeping positive. Your symptoms sound good but are like AF so it is very confusing isn't it!!! Wish you the best of luck for this week. Can't wait to hear your news Wednesday

Kate - Glad you enjoyed your hen weekend. Shame the weather couldn't of been better but sounds like you had fun anyway. Sorry about your uni friend. Life can be unfair. Things come so easy to some and they tend to take it for granted. Perseverance pays tho. Great news about the July cycle. Bet you are really excited and looks lik you will be cycling with Jen. Everything crossed it will be your time x

Jen - Hows you? Is DH recovered? Hope so x Great news re bloods. You could be cycling with Kate. Great stuff. Am I right in thinking you were taking Broc to have a look at kennels for when you go to barcelona?? What were they like? Bet you do find it upsetting leaving him but he will be fine. It will be an exciting holiday for him and he will be well looked after....are you going anywhere this weekend?

As for BB! I really don't think I am gonna catch on to this one...I am in bed too early to keep up. I have to say however that Charlie is a nightmare and Shadnam (! Charlies bessie mate) is just awful to watch. The man however is a bit of a dish and sure will cause some conflict. I love Carole (the bearded lady!!!) and Tracey.

Julie, are soundng more positive thats great!!!! I will pray your lil baby will make it, and catch up with big baby!!

Garden was started, but we cant do anymore.....Its hot!!! too hot for that sor of heavy labouring!!! but teh area is cleared out and marked out, its just a matter of laying slabs now!!!

Dh is suffereing hayfever 2day, really bad and not only that hurt himself with all the digging y'day!!

So he's having a kip now, thought i'd catch up with the girls on here!!!

I have got good vibes about the first interview!! I have a very good feeling, i have it!!
I need to give 4 weeks notice though, which would assuming i do that wednesday would then be last day wed 4th July, we holiday for 2 weeks on 7th.... so would i have to be technically un employed for 2weeks, and start new job on the day i go back, after hols, 23rd......

And another issue..... 23rd is the day i expect to go in for the 1st scan with iui being later that week..... OMG!!! i am worried now, do u think it'll all pan out???

I think it will work out fine. If you get it it is meant to be. Bit of a bummer that you will techically be out of work for 2 weeks. Will you be owed any holiday pay to get you through? If need be you will have to give a start date of 24th July. These things happen. Sure it will be fine. Did they ask if you had any holidays planned at interview? x

Ok guys, I did a HTP... Hopefully too early as it was - ... Shame on me ! You would think that after 4 cycle, I would know better!! It is the first time I do a HTP!!
Ok so, I still have hopes as I should not have tested before wednesday at the earliest (12 dp 2day transfer) and really my clinic do it on day 14.
But I had to try!! If I did get a +, it would have been 5 days less of nightmare!
Do you think guys it still can be a +? Have any of you tested before and got - on the HTp and + with the bloods?

ARGHH stupid me!! I wont tell Dh because he will be mad!!

Julie, how are you babe??? You have another 2ww period too!!!! You'll be fine too!!!

Me: I did say about holiday on interviews, but i didnt say a thing about IUI or trying for kids..... I should have found out by now, they both said early next week, well to me thats mon/tues.....Wed is mid week!!!
I checked mobile and home phone for messages, and nothing!!! no mail today and no emails, so not looking like i have it now!!! Not feeling positive!!! But hey hoe!!! wont let it stress me!!!

Very pissed off though, just had a letter to say i'm not successful for the 1st job i went for.........But why??? I dont know!!!
Bet its coz i'm of child bearing age, married and they worry about me claiming mat leave in future!!! i felt the interview went well, so why??? should i write to them to ask why??? or should i call???

Hello ladies sorry I couldn't post earlier in week - I've driven over 700 miles in the last 5 days and 300 of those were for work in the last 3 so I am whacked

Julie I am so happy for you but yet sad at the same time for your little one but I think you are so right to go with the attitude that you are carrying twins because from what you've found out with the research you've done, there's no reason why your little 'un won't thrive. Its so exciting that you could have twins! Seeing the heart beat is sooo wonderful - its too early to hear it. I first heard it at 15 weeks at midwife appt but only because I asked - otherwise it wouldn't have been until 22 weeks. (ie last week when I heard it again at appt). Its typical they gave you the wrong measurements/ gestation - sometimes I don't think they appreciate how important that is to us. I was given a EDD from sonographer that would have meant that I had conceived before I had even ovulated - miracle or what! She wasn't interested when I tried to explain that it couldn't be right. I told midwife and we altered the date slightly. How are you keeping? Still yucky? I started to feel a tiny bit better about 9 weeks but was whacked right through til about 18 weeks! I'm keeping everything crossed for your next scan hun xxx

Nicki - so sorry to hear about the job hun. My take on it is that it obviously wasn't meant to be - there must be a far better job out there for you just waiting for you to snap it up! I would definitely phone them and ask for feedback from the interview. You'll feel better for doing that. Hugs xxx


Lucy - any new about the job? And how you doing? I feel for you with all the young kids in the family but hun it sounds like you are doing great. I well remember all the birthday parties and christenings of family and friends and get togethers and how that made me feel. Its so hard ... you shouldn't be hard on yourself and if you feel like taking time out from them you should as they would feel the same in your situation. xxx

Jen - our resident jet setter where have you been this week - anywhere exciting? Sorry to hear your bloods needed done again. Have you had them repeated yet? I can't believe Barcelona is so close now its very exciting! Will you be able to post whilst you are there as we will want to continue supporting you Have you chosen your donor yet or how does it all work? I've heard Spain has a fantastic donor situation and that they get paid loads in comparison to the poxy amount you get over here which barely covers travelling expenses. Hope you ae keeping well too hun xx

Dh and I visited his sister in St Helen's near Liverpool over the weekend. The weather was great so we sat outside having dinner in her garden and went away up the coast (Wirral) for the day, which ended up with fish, chips and mushy peas from a renounded chippie!! Bliss ....

I am rapidly expanding and BB's have grown from 34B to 36D so nor me or dh are complaining for now. The wee one is kicking almost constantly and already seems to like a crazy hour last thing in the evening when I'm in bed! Dh is totally smitten ..... any anxieties we both had about our situation have gone and he tells "us" he loves "us" all the time. I so know he sees himself 100% Daddy which makes me so happy.
