How many will they get from 24 follies?

Hi there

We are doing our 2nd ICSI cycle. Im due in for EC on Tuesday. Last time I never got fresh cycle cos I got 21 eggs and cut off at clinic was 20.
We got 13 frozen but out of the 3 FETs we never got a BFP.

I am desperate for a fresh cycle this time, however it does not look likely. Clinic reduced by dose by almost half but still I produced a large number of follies and they are even bigger in suze than the last time - I am going for acupunture this time, could this be the reason for it?

My question is, how many follicles did you have and how many eggs did your clinc end up retrieving? I just know I am going to get more than 20 again this time around but I need to have a little hope......

Wow- 24 follicles is great! I am in the 2ww in my first IVF w/ ICSI. I had 21 follicles mature and felt like I was going to explode!! I had to be careful to not walk too fast and definitely could not run. They ended up retreiving 14 eggs and 13 were mature. From what I have read, it really is how well they time the size/maturation of your eggs and the skill of the doctor retreiving them. Plus, I am sure that you know it is quality, not quantity.
