Hi girls

Angela I too am sorry. Nothing I can say will help with your saddness but remember we are hear to listen and support you. Big hugs to you!!

Em, I think it is good to go with the flow. I think having a birth plan is good for some but I think it's pretty hard to have a plan when you have no idea what is going to happen. If you have good support people around you and a good midwife that is all you need for a plan!

I went for my last scan today. I have 13 follies now, they must have missed some last time. So just the trigger shot tonight and off for ER early Friday morning. I am feeling really bloated and tender, did any of you girls feel the same in the last few days?

Hi Kery,

yeah I started to feel very uncomfortable before my ER too. I had over 20 follicles and they managed to get 13 good eggs from that. My ovaries were about 10cm long when they should have been 2.5cm.

Drink plenty of water and Sustagen (protein) to keep OHSS at bay and rest as much as possible. I was drinking at least 2 litres of water and two mugs of sustagen made on hot milk (tastes like hot chocolate!) a day.

Its only one more day to go and then you'll see how many you get and it'll all be worth it.

Good luck tomorrow,

Em

Hi

Oh well ladies it's the end of the road for us. They only found abnormal sperm from dh biopsy. They did try and use them in isci but none of them fertilised. I was pretty upset a few hours ago but I now am just going to pick up my life and carry on. I look at my son and feel so grateful to have him but it still hurts that dh will never have his own child.

I thank you all so much for your suppport during this time and wish you all the best. I will stop in from time to time and see how you are all doing (can't wait for your news Em!!)

Take care and lots of love

hi guys,

Kery, I'm sorry to hear your bad news. how absolutely devastating. Take care of yourself.

Well, I have some news.....Finlay Dane and his brother Jasper John arrived last thursday via caesar after my bp hit an all time high. It was one of the most traumatic and fantastic days of my life. I had a reaction to the anaesthetic and stared vommiting on the table and continued for 24 hours. Finlay wasn't breathing properly and both babies were rushed to ICU. I didn't get to see them until saturday morning. Both bubs are now in Special Care and will be for at least another week. I just got home today and feel completely empty without the but at least they are doing better.

Will write more later when I have a free moment.

Hello All, sorry to be so slack.

Kery I am sorry to hear about your news. It's awful.

Em, I was wondering how you were going! I guess your boys arrived early. Geez sounds like a bit of an ordeal though. Must have been awful not to be able to see them until Saturday, why was that??? Excellent news that they can come home soon. Well done you must be thrilled!

Hi girls,

Kery sorry to track you on the Aussies & Kiwis thread, I just wanted to say how so terribly sorry I am for you both. I know how hard it must be and I was thinking of you over the weekend.
Only 7 days to go til my dh's op and I am now truly dreading it. I hate this roller coaster, its so unfair. Bad day.

Big hugs

Hi Em

Ohhhhhh - CONGRALULATIONS!!! Two little boys - wow!

How is everyone else?

I am off next week to Auckland for another promotional work thing. I am in marketing in the tourism industry so often go away with the same group of people for promotional trips. Some of the girls are looking at me suspiscously for not drinking and avoiding certain foods......
(I know I made a spelling mistake above - I am normally a good speller but I think I have a bad case of nappy brain already!)

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Congratulations Em,

I am sorry you had such a hard time but now you have two darling little boys !!!!!! Try to take the time while they are still in hospital to get strong and well. Your little boys will be home before you know it and you will be a wonderful mum.
