Rib and back pain

Hi Ladies,

Hope you all are doing well.

I just had a quick question for you, is anyone else expirencing middle back pain and rib pain? It has been killing me for a few days now. My ribs feel like someone hit me on both sides of my rib cage and I have not been able to sleep. What is that about? The back pain I understand but the rib pain I dont get. The babies couldnt be that high already could they?

Any info would be great!

hi Erin, I have been feeling that too. It started around 16-17 weeks for me, right when I started getting big. My pains are a little more to the right. I assumed things were getting pushed upward by my growing uterus. I took a look at an anatomy chart to see what exactly is under my right ribs and it appears to be my liver. must be getting pushed up in to my rib cage and lung. Very uncomfortable! ah well... only a few more months and it will all be forgotten. hang in there.

I am barely ahead of you both and I have had the same thing since week 16 or 17 as well. It had made sleeping almost impossible. Mine is more on my left side right under my breast. I just keep telling myself how lucky I am to have it! Glad to know I'm not alone with these silly aches and pains! Good luck girls!
