Acupuncture after you get BFP

I have a question. I went to acupuncture for my IVF treatment and he said come again until 8 weeks (once a week) if I become pregnant. Is it safe to go to acupuncture when you are early in your pregnancy. My acupuncturist said that it will help for not miscarrying. Did any one go to acupuncture after the BFP.

My acupuncturist says the same thing as yours, that is will help to avoid m/c, but as you, I also heard some girls say the opposite, so I would also like to hear other people's point of view on this matter.........

I did acupuncture after my bfp through the first trimester - about once every 10 days or so. I mainly did it to help with the morning sickness, although my acu also claimed that it helped strengthen your body for accepting the pregnancy. Since most m/c are caused by chromosomal disorders with the baby , I don't see how acupuncture could do anything about that. So, I'm not so sure I 'buy' it (acupuncture prevents m/c.) But, it helped me with the m/s and overall kept me less stressed during a time I was super stressed out.

I'm hanging in there....some days are better, some worse. I'm trying to keep focused on the positives and really want to have a healthy baby - - I've worked so hard to get here, I sometimes wonder why this has happened to us, but I'm trying not to get down and just stay focused.
