Hey guys....well I have nothing new to report basically...I go to the RE tomorrow to get my last ultrasound and get my official discharge from the clinic to the OB. I am excited/nervous to see the babies. I hate having things in the past that make me apprehensive. Anyhow I am trying to be positive. I mean I have nothing to make me think otherwise...nothing. I feel fine. m/s here and there and some tender bbs and that is about it. In fact I am thinking that I really can't believe that I am pg!!! LOL I am thinking I don't really see a whole lot going on....I am inpatient yes but still I sure wish I could see in there daily...like a real oven with a little window and a light that I could turn on! LOL Anyhow that is all here. Anyone else share the same thoughts on that???

Cruz
I feel the same way you do. So thankful. I can't wait to see my little babies....I am so excited about it!!! Congratulations on your BFP! Isnt it so exciting??

Lisa
Things are looking good for you! I am happy that you had such a good heartbeat and all. That is really great!

Mattie
I don't blame you for wanting to wait about telling people. You are 8 weeks? I am not telling anyone at work yet either just because I am fairly new to the place and I just don't want to tell people yet although I am bursting at the seams want to scream it out!!!!!hehehehe I have a little pooch as well.

Wannabe
you are so funny....yeah we congregated at another site without you!! LOL Just kidding! I have looked at other sites as well. I think this one is the best for chatting. I have just been busy and not a whole lot of news to share....I will tomorrow after my appointment though. How far along are you? I rented a doppler last summer and it was wonderful. I couldnt hear it every time I tried (before 12 weeks) but it was so nice when I heard it. I will be renting on probably next week I will order it so I will have it by 9 weeks. That is when I was able to hear it last time and this time with twins I am thinking that I will be a bit bigger earlier so I should be able to hear something!!! Let us know how it works out for you....

Hi all-It was a quiet week last week. I had another u/s today and the babies are looking good. Finally got to hear h/b's. That was so exciting. RE is looking into finding me a high risk OB to release me to in about 3 weeks. RE also suggested i stop working very soon (another 6 weeks max), which is wierd since I am only 8 weeks, but I guess with 4 in there I will need to take it easy very soon. It will be a PLEASURE to tell my boss, since he denied me a raise that I was supposed to get this week (hmm, i wonder why) though now I am not going to make a big deal about it. Mattie I was thinking of you today when the boss broke the bad news to me. As for showing, I am just pudgie, reg clothes dont fit but too early for maternity so its elastic pants to the rescue 8) TWO weeks until the next u/s- seems like forever!
Welcome Cruz!
Trans- I love your oven comment. We are baby ovens! Growing our little ones to be healthy and strong.
Stephanie- Is it me or does it seem a bit early to be discharged to the reg OB?
IVF/ICSI 3/07 Froze All 36 eggs
FET 5/07 BFP; DD born early (26 weeks) 10/07
IVF/ICSI 8/09 Froze all 30 eggs
FET 11/09 BFP! TWINS from just 1 frostie! YIKES.

I had the doppler today for the first time at the OB. It was so cool to hear the HB so loudly.

Rikirees - do you have to go on bedrest or just take it easy? Can't wait for you to tell your boss. Will you just quit altogether?

TanRN - I would love to be able to see the baby all the time too, but I hope I can relax a bit.

I too am not fitting into my old stuff, but I tried on some maternity pants and they were awful. Tacky. For now the bella bands are working really nicely - you should look into them if you are in similar situations.

Hey Steph
Are you going to post a pic like you did last time? I want to see your beanie with all the growth!!! I am excited for you and now you have made me so ecxited to see mine today! I can hardly wait until 1045. LOL

rikirees
I was thinking that too about being released too early but it is because malpractice insurance is really expensive for the RE to carry and that is why in most cases they try to boot the pg women outta there!!! LOL I will be discharged from mine today at 7w 3d. You will need to take it easy with all of those babies in there girl! It will be fun to be able to be relaxed while you are pg! I would love that and in fact I cannot wait until the doc writes for me to be off work.

Wannabe
How far along are you? I think that we should start a list with all of our tickers on it and i will keep it updated....

Wow - lots of wannabe questions. I am 10 weeks 6 days. 11 weeks tomorrow. Getting close to that mark, but I am thinking of 13 weeks as more of clear b/c I'll be through that 12th week.

We really have a due date range on here. I am due Jan. 1. A friend said you could be that person on the news, but I think rikirees is more likely to be that person.

Noodle - do not worry about not seeing HB at your point. I understand the worry, but it's so small - once you see it (is it in a week?) you'll see why it was not possible to see so early.

Hi Ladies -

Well I will hopefully be hearing our little one's hearbeat tomorrow morning. I've been feeling pretty good other than tired and hungry. I'm starting to see a difference in my tummy.

My Dad's health is rapidly declining so our DD and I will be going up North to be with him and my mom again on Thursday. Hospice has seen him and given him some morphine and an oxygen tank to help him breathe. My mom said he has changed so much since I was last up there less than 2 weeks ago. He probably only has a matter of months if not weeks left to live. We just don't know. It's been hard for me to focus on this pregnancy with all of this going on.

I wish you all the very best and I'm sending lots of Baby Angel Dust your way! Looking forward to all of your updates. Take Care!

Christine

I dont want to be that person on the news. All I wanted was the baby I always dreamed of.
How many are you carrying wannabe?
Well I got my referral to the high risk OB. I made the apt for 3 weeks since RE still wants another 3 weeks with me. It was so sad yesterday, he was practically in tears discussing handing me off to the OB. He is such a nice guy.
No bedrest for me just yet, but RE said to get my ducks in order to start taking it easy. I don't want to find myself finding out that day I will need to rest. I am off to east coast tomorrow. RE said it was ok to go since all my spotting finally stopped- knock on wood- last week.
I wish you all a great rest of the week and I will catch up with ya'll next week.
HAPPY EARLY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THOSE GIDDY DADDY'S TO BE!

ChristineB-so sorry about your dad...it's must be very hard to be happy when such a big part of your life is struggling. My sister died od cancer almost 10 years ago and I know the toll it takes on your entire family.

Hello everyone,

Christine, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I just lost my sister a month ago, 3 days after my BFP. It is extremely hard to have good news and also deal with sad news (I know). Stay strong for him and take good care of yourself.

I had my last RE appt. yesterday and the baby doing good. He/she has gotten bigger in two weeks, more defined. I can't wait until my next u/s which will be with the specialist. I will have Nuchal Scan on June 28. My Drs. have me so nervous about my pregnancy that I can't enjoy it. Because of my diabetes they are hoping there's no birth defects. That really upset me yesterday. My OB even called me last night at home to talk about it and it's been over a week since I saw her. For those of you not familiar with glucose levels, they are suppose to be no higher than 130 after meals and I've been in the 160-190 range. During the first 8 weeks of pregnancy is when it's really important to be healthy because thats when the baby is developing. I said no one told me that information I had to be in that range. Even my endocrnologist knew I was going through fertility treatments and everything seem like no big deal to her. So I'm very scared and nervous and can't relax at all.  I wish I could find a support group of women with Type I diabetes who have delivered healthy babies or are pregnant now.

Sorry to vent but I'm glad you're hear to listen.

Christine So sorry about your dad. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

mdterry - I'm sure you will find a group hopefully as wonderful as all the people on here to support you thru your pregnancy and give you hope that all will be ok.

Tayna - My dear impatient friend.... glad to hear the babies are well.

As for us we did our 2nd sono and saw the heartbeat. I was so nervous but OHH so relieved that it was there. It was like a weight was lifted as I watched it flutter about. The link is pics of our progress..
