Laura - So glad to hear your boys are doing great !!

We had a doctor appt/ultrasound on tuesday and we were able to find out the sexes of the triplets - we are having 2 blue and 1 pink !!! We are thrilled to be getting a mix. As my husband puts it, "2 to mow the lawn and one princess to spoil" ! Everything else was good - they checked the cervical length to determine pre-term labor possibilities and that was fine. They said there was a good amount of amniotic fluid in each sac. I have my fetal anatomy scan scheduled for the 26th. I'm just going on 17 weeks now and they are going to put me out of work between 20-24 weeks.

I have to make a recomendation - i recently took 2 different classes on "multiples" and at each class, i made friends with another triplet mommy and we exchanged emails/phone numbers. It is so nice to finally have other pregnant "triplet mommies" to talk to. There were lots of pregnant twin mommies at these classes too. If you have a class like this near you - at your hospital or babies r us, I would recomend it. In fact, one of the friends that i made lives 5 minutes from me, is going to the same doctor, she's only 2 weeks behind me in the pregnancy, and she has the same job as me (social worker)! What were the odds of that??

boomer--congrats on the two boys and a girl! That's fantastic! It sounds like you're doing very well for triplets. Keep up the good work!

We had another NST today, this time I just went to the hospital for it since their equipment is so much better. Things are looking good! I am starting to have contractions. Not on a regular basis, but I was having them every 10-12 minutes when I was having the NST...they were mild, but I could tell they were there! I just hope that I can make it past Sunday, my little sister's graduation! I want that to be her special day. Then, the babies can come whenever they want!

By the way, 36 weeks today! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!!

Boomer- Congrats on 2 boys and girl! It's great that you are both.

Buckeyegal- I'm glad your NST went well. It sounds like your babies may be coming soon. I forget, are you having boys/girls/both?

My parents and I took the boys to Fuddruckers for lunch. Their first outing other than the dr's office. FYI, you get lots of attention when you go out with twins. I think almost every women in the restaraunt came by to see them up close. It's great fun to show them off!

Lauaralou--Good for you to get the boys out of the house! I've heard that twins become a bit of a "show" when out in public....get used to it now! :)

To answer your question, we don't know what we're having! It's a surprise, and I can't WAIT to find out!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I have a feeling we are going to be seeing some new baby photos sooner than later! YEAH!!!!

Rebecca~ Congrats on the 2 boys! DH probably thinks he has hung the moon at this point! I thought I was having 2 boys and we ended up with one of each so we were backwards. How funny! Brothers will be awesome to watch grow up together. Congrats again!

Kim~ Any more signs of labor heading your way? I'm so excited to hear what you are having. I have no guesses at all. The element of surprise is sure fun when it's not me! I had to know! I have a feeling you are days away! :D Now that you are in the 36th week I'm sure everything will go smoothly with no NICU time. What a relief!!

Janine~ Two boys and a girl!!!! That is exactly what my friend had and their daughter is the princess for sure. She can sure hold her own against two boys though. Their boys have night and day personalities as well so it's really fun to see them and watch how different three babies behave. I'm so happy all is going so well for you! We are scheduled for a multiple class in August and I'm glad to hear some input from one. Ours is a four week course and I'm pretty interested to know what they are going to teach. I'm also taking a breastfeeding multiples class in July. My ultimate goal is to breastfeed for at least a year so I hope I will be able to do so. How great that you met that other couple expecting triplets so close to you. Since it's pretty rare to have 3 it'll be nice to have each other to bounce info off of. Glad all is well. Keep us posted

Laura~ I love your dining out story. In all honesty I'm kind of excited to take them out when they get here and have something special to show off.
I know I get a thrill from multiples out and about. Having identical boys adds to your fun I'm sure. Congrats on simply going out to dinner with them. I hope to follow your lead!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Ours has been pretty eventful so far. One couple we are friends with got engaged last night, one friend had her baby (at home naturally!), my SIL and niece got into a hit and run car wreck, one nephew graduating complete with big party in two hours, one B-day party tonight, and a fun filled day at the lake tomorrow with friends. Whew! I need a nap already! So, I better head off to grab a shower and tidy up. Take care mommies and I hope to hear some L&D stories soon! :D

Take care~

Hi gals!

Still here....paranoid about everything my body is doing....but no big changes. I am having some minor contractions, but nothing too major or close together.

Kimberly--Whew! I'm exhausted just from reading your post! You are a busy little bee ! Make sure you take time for yourself to rest. How are your SIL and niece? Were they injured? That's horrible that they were in the wreck. And your friend delivered naturally at home? She's a saint! I hope you're having a great time at the lake today! The weather here in Ohio would be perfect for boating today!

Rebecca--Congrats on 2 bouncing boys! They will be so much fun together! I have a feeling I'm having one of each OR two boys. We'll have to see what pops out in a few days!

As for my labor status, not much has changed. I am still having contractions that feel like menstrual cramps, but they come and go. They're not any closer than 10-15 minutes apart, so there's no concern now. I guess they could go on like that for days. I have another NST on Tuesday and an OB appt. on Wednesday. I have a feeling they'll just send me right into surgery by then!

On another note, my little sister is graduating from Ohio State today, and I can't go to the ceremony. It'll be a 3+ hour ceremony outside, and since I'm having contractions, my DH and my mom don't want me going. I can't say I blame them, but it's a bummer, nonetheless. I am going to get to go out to dinner with them afterwards, though. AND, I'm SUPPOSED to be able to watch the ceremony live through the net....let's just hope it works!

I hope the rest of you gals are doing well! Em, you've been quiet! I have a feeling you have 2 babies with you right now....I hope so! :)

Hi all

Welcome Emma! I am sure you will find this forum a wealth of information for you along with lots of support :D

Study very hard at the moment -will not do personals but hope everyone is going well. I bet Em has had her babies as she has been MIA for a while - please fill us in when you get the chance and pics too if possible :D

My exam is on Thursday - cannot wait to close that chapter - I am doing better than I thought I would - concentration is much better these last few days.

Have a doctors appointment next week and scan to see how the babies are doing. Apparently the girl is smaller than her brother so they want to make sure that she is not getting too far behind they will be revising the c section date at that scan. So, maybe we will have them sooner than we think  if they don'y come before hand that is :D

Must go

Belly rubs to all

Di--I think you're right about Em. She must have delivered by now. I can't wait to see pics and get an update! :) Good luck this Thursday on your exam! Yeah, you're almost done! Don't worry too much about the scan. For a while, my Baby A was smaller than Baby B, and then it caught up. I bet your little gal will be just fine!

Hi gals!

We had another NST today. All's looking good. I was paranoid about my water's leaking, so they checked me out....all's okay down there. I see the OB tomorrow. I'm hoping to get a date then!

While I was at the hospital for the NST, twin girls were born! They were 38 weeks...about 6 pounds each, 19 inches. They looked really good! I'm hoping to get the same results!!!!! :) :P :P

Kim- I'm glad everything looks so good. I can't believe how far along you are. You may make 38 weeks! Your babies probably won't need any time in the NICU. That is great!

Em- I can't wait to hear about your babies! I imagine you have had them already, as we haven't heard from you in a while. I am dying to know what you had, girls, boys, both?

Diane- Glad to hear that you are almost done with school. It's great that your babies cooperated and haven't come before you finish.

Kimberly- I wish I had your energy! I haven't left the house since Friday.

Janine- Congrats on having boys and a girl. I'm so glad you are having some of each. You must be so excited.

The boys are wearing me out! They have been really fussy lately during the middle of the night. Nicholas cried and cried last night after he ate at 1:00 am. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, he had eaten and burped and his diaper was clean. Finally about 2:30 am he went to sleep. Then they were ready to eat again at 5:00 am. Everyone says that the first 3 months are really hard and then it gets better. I keep telling myself, I've got one month down, just two more to go!
