I just had IVF for the first time and recently got a BFP!!! TTC for 2 years, tried one IUI but due to male factor, bad motility and 0% - 2% morphology depending on test they told us we need ICSI.
Stims went well - 22 follicles, 15 were mature, 13 fertilized, transferred 2 on day 5 but only ended up with 1 excellent quality blastocyst to freeze on day 6. My clinic only freezes day 6 blastocysts and only if they are excellent quality.
Anyway it worked!! I am currently only 5w5d so still very early and waiting for the ultrasound to make sure everything is fine and to see if there is 1 or 2. (They wait longer than most and I will be almost 8 weeks when they do the ultrasound, so the wait is driving me nuts.)

I tried to conceive for almost 7 years and become very sad every time someone was getting pregnant around me.
I have PCOS and my partner had low sperm count with teratozoospermia which was then corrected with supplements. We, or more I (since I went alone) tried Clomid alone x 3 then with IUI x 2 and it did not work. Today, I must admit that the infertility probably contributed a lot to our separation.
2 years ago, I have met a wonderful man. Again, my PCOS came after me and ovulation did not come regularly. Since my FSH was climbing, we decided to go for IVM.
At my first cycle, at age of 32, I had way too many follicules: 50 at CD3. None were developping at CD8, they were tiny. The doctor decided to give me some repronex and finally, at CD 15, one of the follicule was 12 mm.
The doctor proceeded to the egg collection and he was only able to get 8 eggs from the 22 follicules left.
2 were mature so they were fertilized with ICSI (with ICSI, you get 100% fertilization, they inject the sperm into the egg - it might not end up in a good quality embryo but it will get to the embryo state)
They were then able to mature 2 more eggs and they fertilized them.
On tranfert day, they transfered 4 embryos, 2 good quality, 2 not soo good.
2 weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. Tonight, I am completing my 15th week of pregnancy. There is one baby and we are very very happy. We heard the baby's heart at 12 weeks and at that point, my doctor said not to worry that everything was good. I still worry but it is OK!
