Lisa, Katie and I are fine, she is laying in her cot at the moment talking to her Winnie the Pooh mobile, she is meant to be asleep!! I am really lucky at nights, we feed her at 7pm ish and then don’t feed her again until 7am, she will sometimes wake up a bit earlier but she seems to occupy herself until the alarm goes off at 7am. She has been like that from 8 weeks old. Bet the leaking was a shock for you, I didn’t leak until I was breast feeding and then it use to flood out! The 4d scans are great, well worth having but very emotional. Bet it was exciting getting the pram. I am so pleased that your Mum is getting better.

Jen less than 2 months until your appointment, good luck with getting a hotel close to the clinic. Will you just have to go back once after this appointment for ET? I am sure Broc will be fine in kennels, he will think it’s a holiday. Katie doesn’t have any teeth as such yet but it looks as if 2 at the bottom will come through soon and she is dribbling like a loony so that is a sign of teething. We have gone swimming 3 times now, Katie always looks surprised as if she can’t understand why all those people are in her bath and why she can’t be naked. We are going for swimming lessons in September and she will be taught how to swim under water!!

Julie I didn’t do much at my first midwife’s appointment either, towards the end you will get fed up taking your wee sample in though!!! Hope the sickness improves soon for you. Twins is amazing the little one will be a fighter I am sure.

Kate have you managed to take the Audi TT for a spin yet? Glad AF has arrived, sorry it’s a bit of a stop start one though. Congratulations to both of you on your promotions and enjoy the wine tonight!

Nikki how was the concert? Sorry you didn’t get the job, have you heard about the other one yet?

Souris I was so sorry to hear your news. I am so glad that you have plans for your next step though.

Lucy hope you are ok?

gail lovely to hear from you and the wonderful beauty katie. It's amazing that she is so content to sleep right through 12 hours and if awake play with moblie. Amazing that she is so laid back. does she get that from you? love the time your sharing with her and am sue the swimming lessons will be great. So good that you have acces to all that is your pool local? On DE yes i will have 2 appoinments in total at IM. After 1st appoinment i am on drugs for about 6-8 wks to get in cycle with donor then i get a scan here to check womb lining...if okay i fax the details to IM then go there for 1 more appointment which includes ET. We stay there for 3 days before flying out home. Hope with all my heart we get a BFP!

Lisa i fogot to comment on you getting your pram...how lovely. what colour is it and have you got a big nappy bag to use in the same set? Are you going to get one of those babycarriers too so he/she can sit on Dh's back???? bet the Grandma's are so excited about seeing your little kicker x x Never mind you and DH. x x But Gail is right it will be a BIG tearjerker. so wear waterproof mascara

Kate- CONGRATULATIONS to you and DH....how fantastic is that you both getting the promotion x x Fantastic news x x as things come in 3's the next thing will be your BFP x x Hope you enjoyed your celebration think you need to get some champagne this weekend and go out for a slap up meal to celebrate....On Af sorry i can't really think why on/off/on again. I have always had a start of AF for 2 days heavy and day 3 no flow for Af to start agin on day 4-6. ( hope this isnt TMI ) Also honey you have such a stressful job, you have been covering for others and waiting for results of promotion and DH's promotion. SO mega ammounts of stress. It always plays havoc with my AF. So maybe AF is just responding to your stress levels. Betcha when scholl finishes AF will be on time and nrmal cause of relaxation. sending you big hugs and please try not to worry i am sure AF iwill regulate herself soon. x x x

nicki- what ya doing about work ? are you still going for another job? Not long to your holidays now. Just think 2 wks in the sunshine and tons of relaxation. Bliss x x x

Well I had long lie this morning as i did a bit too much yesterday, so taking it easy today. Just walked Broc and now off for lunch with a neigbour before she picks up her kids from school. Primary school here ( 5-12year olds) starts at 9am and 30min lunch so finsishes at 2.30pm??? In Glasgow kids get an hour for lunch and finish 3pm. What happens in England?

I'm sorry I haven’t posted for ages, my internet connection has been down at home and I just haven't had the time to log on at work. I've really missed you all though..!

Souris - I am sorry about your BFN, and I'm sorry I wasn't around to support you. I hope you're OK? You sound very positive about your journey ahead, but I know that still doesn't take away the pain we go through. Thinking about you huni. Are you still in France?

Nicki - So sorry to hear you didn't the job you went for? Have you applied for any more? Excel isn't hard to learn love, you could do a course at college, maybe on an evening.. That’s if you want to learn it, I know now a lot of companies do ask for Excel, depends what you'll be doing as well I suppose. I honestly don' think you have to mention anything about wanting children in an interview, they haven't asked you such question have they? Did you enjoy the George Michael Concert.?

Julie - I hope you're feeling better, can't believe the clinic won't see you again until wk 16, I don't want to sound insensitive but didn't they scan you again to check on twin 2.? Sorry hope I've read all posts... that's prob why you're feeling so sick hun. I really hope it subsides for you soon. I agree with others you should take some time out, you need to look after yourself and you're little ones. Take Care sweetie.x

Lisa - Did you enjoy your time in Liverpool? Hope you've enjoyed your time with your mum, I'm glad to hear she's feeling much better. I feel for you in the heat, I hate it and I'm not even pregnant, I don't like to feel uncomfortable.. great news your mum has bought the pram, bless her..!! Anyway hun take care.x

Jen - whhoo hhooo can't believe you've got your ED appt 3rd Aug, that is great news.. can't believe you're only in Barcelona over night, can't believe you only have to go there twice (that is right isn't it?) As for me, well lots to fill you in on. First of all I got that job I applied for, the 1st one, decided in the end not to apply for the other one, even though it was better prospects I decided against it, it would of meant lots of work, and a lot of time, that’s sounds really bad but I don't need that at min, I don't want a job to stress me out so when they offered me the 1st job I couldn't really say no. I start on the 25th June, same building but dif floor, I'm excited but also nervous as I will be out of my comfort zone but something else to get my teeth into I think and the change will do me good, I'll miss the girls I sit with though, will have to keep popping down for chats..!!! And I got my new car, Peugeot 207 HDI Sport, I absolutely love it, it is gorgeous to drive...!! since I last spoke with you all I've had 2 appts with the counselor for ED, she was really nice, the first meeting she just wanted to know about me and how I came to IVF, so had to start right from the beginning, told I knew from a young age I wouldn’t conceive naturally blah blah, it was very emotional, I cried a lot because it brought back lots of memories of m/c and failed cycles, second appt was a bit more relaxed we spoke about how I felt on ED I told her I was actually now excited of thought of doing it, whereas before I didn't want to think that was an option for me, I feel very comfortable with it now, we spoke about doing it with my sister and I told her I'd prefer that option... anyway she can't see me again until end of aug which seems a bit silly but hay that’s the NHS for you. I still haven't decided it I'll do another cycle yet, I want to but I'll wait until my consultation and see what they advice, I also have an appt with an embryologist, I want to know a bit more about my eggs etc, why I never get any to freeze and if they are good quality, I mean if they're now there is no point what so ever doing another cycle, I'm juts wasting money.

My little nephew is so gorgeous, he's a little porker now, he was 4 wks yesterday, can you believe it, it only seems like last week I was telling you she had had him. I'm taking my niece to see noddy a week on Saturday, she is so looking forward to it, she keeps asking how long until we go.. bless her.

I'm going to my step sisters wedding on Tuesday (a funny day for a wedding, but its the date her mum passed away) looking forward to it actually.....

Anyway girls, going to watch BB, get that Charley out, sorry I don't like her much, so who are people liking and disliking.. Shab to go on Fri..

so good to hear from you. It sounds like you seem happier with your lot and although your undecided about tmt at this stage you have time to choose. When do you see your consultant for a review of last cycle and eggs etc? Your newphew sounds a little beauty i bet he puts a smile on your face!!!
Th counsellin is hard but it helps that all the tears flow and you have a more setttled view on ED.
How has DP been though all this? Has he been worried about ED?
your new car sounds fab! Between you and Kate you have some sporty cars and mega horse power.

Julie will you need to buy a family car with twins???? Senic or C max????

our update is that we wil need to wait until 26th JULY!!!!!! for DH to get a sperm test on the nhs. Which will be 4 days after we are meant to snd the results to IM We can't even go private as there are no clinic here!!! So am off to e mail IM to see if last years results will do!

Tis me again

forgot to say that i will be away on my travels this weekend...Visiting friends for a pre-birthday meal on friday and saturday then visiting family SUnday for a family champagne meal...Well i think so don't know what the naughty Adam has up his sleeve as a surprise. Know there is something going down I have been Miss Marple-ing and he has confirmed there is something going on but keeps leading me up the garden path with all different scenarios. That wil teach me for being nosy!!!

So have a fab weekend everyone will catch ya all Sun/monday.

Hi Girls

Had the scan today and the little one has no heartbeat . He is still there so assume he will absorb or I will have a small bleed. We were a little sad but are being positive and looking forward not back and I am so excited that "Junior" is now 29mm!!! Next midwife/scan is 9 July. We no longer have to go back to the clinic and I am now weening off my drugs and pessaries.

Didn't get a pic . My own fault for not asking but I heard her printing one so didnt bother and when i was leaving the clinic she said it was for the file !!!! Never mind...

Jen - You are off on your jollies again..my DH works Saturdays compulsory and occasionally Sundays so we NEVER get away for the weekend!! Have a fab time and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! and good luck with the IM xxxx

Lis - Hows you? Hope you are well. leaking boobies!! I would be surprised too . Mine are HUGE. Up a cup size and nearly ready for another new bra! Glad to hear your mum is feeling ok. What pram did you go for? 3 wheel/4? colour? Hope you are well xx

As for BB not seen much at all but EVERYTIME I turn it on that Charley is mouthing off and wingeing and moaning and she reminds me of Vicki pollard the way she speaks. SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

Julie sorry to hear the sad news about your little one but your right to be positive and look forward and not back, you have junior and he / she is 29mm as well The scans are so great aren’t they, will you find out if its a boy or girl ar are you going to wait for the surprise?. I would definitely work on DH about the 3d / 4d scan they are fantastic. I am taking a year off work so not due to go back until Feb next year, I am planning on probably not going back and instead getting an evening job somewhere so DH can have Katie in the evenings, I really don’t want to leave her during the day if I can help it! How is your sickness is it easing off at all? Katie is now 9lb 4oz which is still small but she is healthy which is the main thing.

Jen have a fantastic weekend and enjoy your surprise. Hope you can use last years sperm test result, good luck.

Lucy congratulations on the job I am sure the challenge will be good just a bit daunting to start with. Enjoy your car, I had a Peugeot 206cc which I loved but the baby seat wouldn’t have gone in the back so sold it for a ‘sensible family car’ a Mazda 3. I am glad the counselling went well, the first session sounded quite tough but its good to talk things through.

Hello all, just a quickie as just waiting on my Dad and step mum to arrive. They are coming and staying over til tomorrow. Just had a mad dash getting the place tidied, getting in bits and pieces from supermarket, making the dinner for tonight and meeting my friend for coffee!! Julie its amazing how yor energy comes back. I would never have thought I'd be running around like a daftie again after feeling so exhausted in the first 17 weeks. I feel like my usual self again when I rush around like this, apart from the back pain and constant kicks!

Julie I am so sorry to have learned of your news but so glad you are coping well with it and are concentrating on big beanie. Remember though you have every right to feel sad, if you are feeling that way. You still have to come to terms with a loss. But very exciting that big beanie is thriving and flourishing!! Hugs xxxx

sorry I have been MIA, but I am back in Dubai and althouh I was thrilled to be with Dh again,but it has been really hard to be with him and realise that it was it! So I guess I need time to adjust. It is also hard to be back here, far from my family and friends. I dont know no one here and I am really rubbish at making new friends or socializing in new groups. Anyway, i dont have a car yet so cant go no where...

I do need time away from the forum, though I will check up on you guys from time to time.

Lis/Gail - Will try and work on DH but not sure if he will budge.....We will see. I am DEFINATELY not finding out the sex. We have both agreed on that. if it was twins maybe we would but we want the surprise. The sickness has subsided!! Feel wishy washy still but not been sick since thursday. I have cut out milk and it seems to have worked. Extremely hungry now tho!

well being 40 is so much fun...you know how i was going down Glasgow way ( 200miles) way for the weekend. blitz with friends and family...well ... DH had PLANNED A SURPRISE! My sister arrived on my door step on friday afternoon she had taken time off work and driven up to see me. Wonderful i thought as she is divorced and never takes time off except for the kids i thought that was really special...I thought that was it, and i planned to take her and explore our new town..BUT NO the door bell kept ringing all friday night and saturday, with friends and family arriving. Most people had booked B&B's but still had our 3 bed house packed out. On Saturday we ended up with a BBQ and night out at the Casino. The game was to only spend 10pounds. We all tried to make our 10 pounds last as long as we could. I was the only one who won any money and I won 180quid Was dead chuffed by this and still am!!!! It was a late night and busy breakfast making Sunday. [Can definatly see me doing B&B in the future after this LOL. ]Every1 left on Sunday night, so we were in bed by 10pm! Missed my mum and dad though as they were watching my sisters kids so couldn't come. BUT we are meeting them in a caravan site this weekend ( us in the motorhome)

Yesteday ( mon my birthday) i went out with local friends for lunch ( bubbily galore) and again out with DH at night for slap up meal and more Bubbily. Have still got 3 bottles of Bolli left ,I got as presents! I felt so lucky and loved by everyone. It was a real special celebration.

Thanks to you all for your wishes x x Feel that getting married , and turning 40 are special and to top it off a BFP in Sept/Oct will be my 3rd celebration this year!!!!! Bring it on!!!!!
