Ang--It sounds like my answer is about the same as Fee's. During the first trimester, I had an ultrasound every week until week 7 when they saw the heartbeat, then every two weeks and then switched to regular ob at 12 weeks. Since then, I just go in once a month for visits with only one ultra sound at 20 weeks (although I cheated the system a little and got one at 17 weeks too). As far as how far along is calculated, I'm kind of clueless on that since mine was a freaking miracle natural conception. I think even my doctor is a little confused as to my actual due date--it's been changed twice now! I'm very jealous ofyour new house. I love unpacking. Finding a new place for everything. Fun! Enjoy!

Jenn--Congrats on the good news! One beanie is great! Hope the blood results were good and that the dildocam wasn't too uncomfortable!

Mel--I'm so happy that your bum doesn't have cancer....What a relief! And I agree, it sounds like you are ready for a break. I'll bet it makes all the difference...And in the meantime, try to enjoy sex like "normal" couples and not just for procreation. That will be strange, huh!?

Fee- Yep, round ligament pains are crazy (I think someone else asked what they are---they are when the ligaments hooked to your uterus are stressed and cause pain.) The pain is just weird. But I do think that's what I've been feeling--I honestly think my stomach has grown a ton in just that last week. I'm finally starting to look pg and not just fat. Sort of. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one going crazy---Maybe our kids will find each other some day and have two crazy mothers in common. It'll be true love!

Vicky--You make me feel guilty. For my dog's birthday, I just let him eat some ice cream and sang to him. I'm definetly going to up my game next year! When is ER set for?

Alright, to everyone else a big hello and good night!

Thanks for your prompt attention to my question preggo sistas. Fee, your client service record must be impeccable if this is anything to by. Meggo - I think you are in healthcare ?in which case the same goes for your patients. :D Very helpful. Also called the clinic - it's pretty cool that they say you are already 4 weeks on the day of testing.

SO - USA and Canada here i come in september - whatever the outcome....

Vicky - how goes it - hoping those follies are growing big and strong - I think we will be on 2ww together.

Hi to everyone else. Must try and do some work. Have heaps on and with buying house, and having ET in the same week, I am getting way too distracted!

Wow! We are a busy bunch!

Vicky: congrats on your trigger tonight!

Mel: hoping your photos were fab. The rain, and sick hairdresser, I'm sure the pictures will be great (and if not, that's why they have digital touch overs!!! ). Do tell!

Angie: yes, you have a ton on your plate right now. I am glad to hear that your North American tour will still be a go, even once you get your BFP (fingers crossed). I suppose for you, ET is tomorrow! I will be off the internet for a few days... so good luck!!! I will be anxious to get back on Saturday to get the news. I think your zen attitude is fantastic. I need you to bottle it for me!

Meg: I just realized that you will be delivering right about the time I finish my #6 cycle! Weird. I think we cycled together in November, right? That was a whole 7 months ago! How time flies

Fee: how is MIL doing?????

Jenn: one little beanie is perfect! Now what should we name him/her???

The teenage girls in our congregation are at camp this week (I was one of the advisors until a few months ago), and I am going up to help for the next few days... so I will be incommunicato.

btw... heard through an email group I am on through my church (about infertility), that there is a baby girl several states away, born premature but reaching all her milestones who will be ready to leave the hospital this week, but has not been placed. There are several reasons why this is not a good time for us. But wow... how exciting would that be... just jump on a plane and pick up a baby tomorrow? I mean really... instant baby. Part of me was ready to take the plunge. In blog land, there was a girl recently, who had withdrawn their adoption application with an agency 5 months ago (hadn't read her blog long enough to know why). Anyway, a few weeks ago, that agency called her up and asked her if they wanted a little newborn boy. They picked him up an hour later. Imagine the Babys R' Us shopping spree they went on that night!!!! *sigh* Maybe one day.

Angie and Vicky- good luck, good luck, good luck!!! I'll be thinking of you in the next couple of days!!

Mel- How did the pictures go? do we get to see them?
I hope the rain let up. It sucks to get all duded up and have to tromp through the rain!

Sassy- So you go from a nice vacation to camping with a bunch of teenagers! Good luck with that! I hope they behave!

Tomorrow is another U/S. I don't think anything will have changed in the last couple of days, but I like to see the bean none the less!

Take care, good night!
Jenn

hi Vicky - just wanting to wish you good luck with EC - looking forward to sharing the thrills and spill of the 2ww with you.....! Looking forward to your update.

Well I'm treating myself to a day off tomorrow for transfer day. A bit decadent but why not - trying to stay relaxed and zen - so far so good. And acu Chinese lady said tonight that I am looking very well "much better that 'rast ' time " - I hope she has mystical powers and can see internal improvements. I think I am going to give her at least a little credit for my new improved lining.

Until tomorrow ladies .

Mel - how were the photos - have you released them yet? Photo spread in Hello! magasine perhaps? :D

Fee - any antics to report this week in the The Office.

hi to Jenn, Meggo, Sassy and the other sistas.

Enjoy your Fridays .

So the rain cleared out and the pictures were taken! Hooray!!! Keep and eye out on www.lifewithcaroline.com for them, it should be next week before she puts them on her blog - and then ALLLL of them will be available for me later in the month. Yippee!

I think it went okay, my eye makeup looked awesome! It was fun, there was a really ancient fire truck downtown for whatever reason, so I told Caroline (the photographer) I really really really wanted to take some pictures on the fire truck... so we did! It was way fun, I hope that comes through in the shots!

Vicky - I am so excited about your cycle, I can't even begin to tell you!!!

Angie- So much better than 'rast' time! I love it!! Reminded me of the "you toe ugly" comment! Gotta love the accent! I'd love a spread of my hotness all over "Hello!" Mag how awesome would that be, get my fat arse up there, to show all women, what a real woman looks like! Let's do it! Good luck darling, I am praying for you! And I am SO excited about your US trip, if you are anywhere near FL or GA, let me know, we will so have to get together!!!

Sassy - You back in the real world yet? Well, I guess if you are roughing it camping with a bunch of teenagers! That'll teach ya to have a great time in Iceland! :) That might be the Birthcontrol you need! Hee hee! What a story, that is truely the Babies R Us of the adoption world, holy cow!

Jenn - Great Luck with the u/s!!!

Mego- You doing well darling?

Fee- How are you doing, sweetness? Any more sudden pottie urges? I worry about you!

My sister just sent me a link to some new pictures she had taken at The Picture Place or the The Smile Place or something, gosh I love those girls!!!!! So exciting!

I hope you are all having a GREAT day!

(these 7AM-9PM days are KILLING ME!)

I would love to go to FLorida and see you - but I think I will be further north - am hoping to score a trip to New York if I am lucky. Shopping, shopping, shopping......

FET in 2 hours time - must make some lunch now, then off to see Dr D and get the wombats on board. Then back to acu, then see a kitchen man, then fetch takeaway and relax with a DVD. Pheweee!

Angie- Good luck with FET today!!!
Vicky- Good luck with ER today!!!

I'm keeping everything crossed and praying really hard that this is it for you guys!!!!!!

Oh Vicky forgot to tell you- my best friend had ER yesterday. They were told they would get about 10 eggs. The Dr. saw 12 but said only 10 would be mature and ready. They got 18!!!! I hope this happens for you!!

Mel- I can't wait to see the new addition to your family!

Fee- don't work so hard! You sound tired take it easy...sisters orders!!

OOH I just saw my ticker- I will see my boyfriend one week from tomorrow!!

On the personal side...

Well we are going home this weekend for father's day. I hope everyone has a good one. I'm pretty sure my husband is going to spill the beans tonight at his family dinner. I hope it isn't too soon. Yesterday we saw the yolk sac and fetal pole. I go back Tuesday for another look see! This doesn't seem real to me. My mom keeps telling me to get a baby book and put all of these ultrasound pictures in it, and get a journal to keep track of everything. I just can't do it yet. I am excited, but it's like things have been so bad fertility wise for the last 3 1/2 years, I'm waiting for it all to go wrong. I thought I would be jumping off of the walls with excitement. What's wrong with me? I almost hate to post this b/c I don't want it to be taken the wrong way. I really am thrilled in my heart, but it's like my brain doesn't believe it yet. i don't know. does this make sense??
Jenn

Jenn--What you are feeling is totally normal. I felt the same way. In fact, I still have trouble believing it, despite the fact that the baby kicks me pretty much constantly all day. It's just that everything has been so hard up until this point, that I just keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. I don't think I'll truly believe it until I hold her in my arms....and from what I've read in other posts on here that is totally the norm. So, don't beat yourself up or feel like you are uncaring. You're just protecting yourself!
