3 fertilised eggs - any chance?

Hi all Hope you dont mind my intruding on this board - am not pg but had a question. Had ec on friday - 13 eggs, but only 3 have fertilised. Is it likely that we'll get 3 embies from these , and did any of you manage a pg with so few fertilsed eggs in the first place? I guess it only takes one - but slightly have the fear! Any help gratefully received. Caz

Hi caz, I hope that I dont scare you, but I only had 5 eggs retrieved and only 3 fertilized - only 2 were put back in and I ended up with triplets!! I remember being devastated when only 5 were retrieved, but I guess that it is quality not quantity, so please stay positive!! I now have 3 gordeous girls out of 5 collected. I hope it all gose well for you. Kate

Hi There Just to let you know I had 7 eggs and only 5 was suitable for fertilisation and out them 5 2 fertilised. I had the 2 put back and I am now pregnant with 1 baby. At the end of the day its not quanity its quality, you only need one good one. Love Shell. 10wks 6d pg xx

thanks so much guys. KAte - I will read the board to find out how you got triplets - intreging!! Am sitting here at 745 on a sunday morning - have been awake for ages - waiting to call the clinic at 9 to see if any of the fertilised eggs have gone on to make embryos . SO scared. HAve a bit of a pessimistic feeling. But jut hoping and praying. Will let you know how we get on thanks again - so happy for you - cant imaging how exciting it must be. Cazx

HI guys - I posted on the other board but just to let you know I had et today , with one 4 cell embie and one 8 cell. So its fingers (and legs ) crossed for 2 weeks! Thanks so much for your help caazx
