Lisapa - Welcome to the club!!! The lupron isnt bad, the neddle is very small, after the initial shot u'd be confident & not worry abt it. I just had some lite headaches on lupron, apart from that its not a big deal.

Ladies I made a big mistake....y'day after my first shot of Gonal F 300 u in a 900ui pen, I was really confused if the meds indeed went it, so after the shot in order to check how much was left, I again set it to 450, (bcoz thats the highest) & pull the end of the pen out. I was able to see450 was available. After that I was not able to set it to 300, so I knew I had messed the pen.
I called the nurse & explained myself, she said once u pull the end of the pen out it gets locked & u either have to use that much or lose it. She then talked to the doctor & said that for this one time I need to take 450, instead of wasting it & then continue on 300. I feel sooo stupid. Seeing others meds here I was thinking I was on high dosage of 300, but bcoz of my stupidity had to take 450. I am hoping nothing happens adversly like overstimulation.... Whew!!! But today I did it right. But I cant feel the meds going in, so I feel I am doing it wrong, but I guess thats how it is so I need not worry.

..(GO FIGURE). I have spent the last 3 years praying for her not to come and now i want it so i can start this whole process. Any advice on the meds? I hear the side effects are rough 
has anyone else had problems I am going on lupron, follistim,ovidril, and the good old progesterone. Thanks a bunch
