Suzhan, thank you for that story, all of us in this group are a little worried about the number of follies we have, we're on the lower side. But really it just takes one good egg/embryo to make it! Hang in there Vicky!

I have my final scan before egg retrieval tomorrow. Looks like my retrieval will probably be Tuesday if all goes well.

Jodi, good news on the retrieval! That's awesome that they got more than they thought. That gives me hope!

Jodi, sounds as though your retrieval went well. Transfer on Father's Day... I think that is a good sign!

I went in for my scan today and it was pretty good. They said that I now have 12 (3 on one side and 9 on the other). The large ones from yesterday have held the same size which is great because it is giving time for the small ones to catch up. They are having me come back on Sunday for another scan and likely transfer on Tuesday - Michelle we are going the same day!!! I hope that the little guys catch up. I think my smallest is 1.2 so it is looking pretty good if it continues.

Kay, I was told that anything 1.5 and greater is a good size on trigger day. So, it sounds as though you have plenty above that.

You will feel different with FET.. Different drugs.. My Jack came from my first failed IVF( he was frozen for 3 months) He is my little shinning star he is... Have faith........

Vicky!!! I am so hoping for 3 eggies.. wonderful job.. YOur transfer is 18? What time? How do they do your transfer.... I do not do well with the speculum crap.. go figure huh?

IVFMUM.. what can I say..14 follies? WOW!!!! maybe some more will be growing and lurking around the bend!!!!!!

The clinic finally called DH yesterday and said that they had 9 eggs, 7 fertilized but we will know the final count today.. Last time I lost 5 embies from fertilization to implantation and that is whyRE is hoping for 1-2 transfer... (13 eggs last time, 9 fertilized, 8 were OK four were put in me a two years ago and that failed and four were frozen hence ..Little Jack Frost.....) Reason to why I wear this huge snowflake around my neck rain or shine too!!!!!!

HOpe everyone has a relaxing weekend... I gotta go get cleaned up , take my meds and rest.....
Hopefully the clinic will call with some good news.. I am ever the not so positive person......

Klor....first of all congratulations on your prior IVF baby, that is amazing!!. And about this FET, you will feel different, in FET you don't have so many hormones messing you up, so you will feel much more normal than on a fresh cycle, so don't worry, everything is ok!!!!

IVFMum....how are you doing??, your follies seem to be doing very good!!. About your question, RE's normally want to see the follies at around 20mm for ER, so you are almost there!!!!

Just received call with fertilization report...only 1 embie fertilized....I am so sad, I really don't understand what happened this time, the last time, with the minimum stimulation (75IU Follistim and 75IU Menopur) I had tons of eggies and embryos, and this time, this happens, I don't understand.....................
I hope this only embie is the one, and he fights to stay alive until he comes back to mommy on Monday and then stays with mommy until born.....really hope so....

Hi Ladies, looks like everyone is coming along nicely! I had my scan today and the doc wants me to stim for an additional day, so 11 days instead of 10. I'll go back in on Monday for a final scan. So it looks like my egg retrieval will be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

The follies are looking good, around 18mm, so just a little more growth needed.

Vicky, hang in there. It only takes one. We'll all keep praying for your special little embryo. The doc doesn't think I will have a ton either. Says he will be happy if we collect 4 good eggs.

I am very sorry about that.. BUT..... It only takes one... We named Jack "Scrappy" inutero because he was a fighter.... He stuck around... Your embie will too....... Tonight my pastor is coming over to give us a little faith.. I will mention all of us of what we are all going through.....I am not an over religious person.. my pastor is my neighbor- he is just the nicest guy and we acutually have only been to his new church once. He is truely wonderful... Fact of the mattter.. a little prayer never hurt anyone right?

My Transfter is scheduled for 930am Sunday morning. My acupuncuturist is meeting me 1 hour early for a treatment, then after the transfer, I will have another treatment. We were blessed with 7 embryos. we will put some in the "oven" and then freeze some . I am nervous and scared because the first IVF last year failed...... I don't want to get my hopes up. It is hard not being able to tell family about this. specially my mom... I suspect that she suspects something going on since EVERY weekend we take little man swimming at her house and we haven't been this weekend at all and won't be for a while.... I am very bloated so I think that if I put on a bathing suit, she would ask me if we were pregnant and I would have to say.. no.. just gaining a little weight....

Trying to relax right now.. very difficult... I would like to watch a movie but DH says we need a good nights sleep....Yeah... Whatever.. I picked up the Eddie Murphy movie "Norbert" to watch.. heard it was funny from a few of my patients.. so.... Oh.. Has anybody seen "The Holiday"? I started it, but I fell asleep.. It was the day of the ER when I tried and I was still loopy from the happy drugs....

Anyway.... I have babbled enough... I am very very very nervous and scared.... I am fully prepared for the heartbreak of it all or at least that is what I am telling my heart.

Jodi.....thanks for your support, it is very important to me!!. I hope my embie is "scrappy" like Jack . Good luck tomorrow!!!, I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!. Wow 7 embryos is great!!!, that is what I had on my prior cycle and it was enough to transfer and even freeze a bunch of them, so that is a great number!!!. I understand the "don't want to get my hope up", but on the other hand you should try to enjoy every moment of this, because if it ends up being positive then you will regret not enjoying it and if it is negative, you will see what you do if that happens, but now PMA PMA PMA!!!!! (what nerve me of all people telling you this!!! ----I guess in a way I am saying this to myself as well ).

Michelle....looks like your follies are almost there, a final oven touch and you are done for ER!!!!!. Thank you for your support as well, I hope you have a lot of eggies hidden there!!!!

I would love to be able to call the clinic and find out the status of my embie every hour or so .............I guess it would be too much...oh well!!!

I had my final scan this morning. The doctor said that I have 12 follies, 10 of which are in the ideal size range! So I am all set for my ER on Tuesday. I can't wait to take my last shot tonight!!!! Enough of these needles...

Jodi - 7 fert is fab, when is transfer?

Vicky - 1 embie is all it takes, I had only one frostie with my FET and had a little boy!!

Michelle - you're a day behind me, my ER is Tuesday so I'll be thinking of you.

Kelly - 12 follies is great and you and are both scheduled for er on Tuesday. Where is your clinic

Klor - I have a FET baby, he was my only frozen embie. Goodluck. As for the drugs I did my FET on a natural cycle.

As for me I did my hcg shot last night at 9.20pm. I've got to be at the clinic tomorrow, Tuesday at 8.20am ready for retrieval at 9.20am.

Really dreading it actually. I found it quite painful last time and my husband is not coming with me because he is going to look after our 3 year old, we can't really ask anyone because noone knows we are having treatment.
So not looking forward to that at all.

Kay, best of luck tomorrow. I am slightly ahead of you with my ER at 8:00. But I am sure we'll both be vegging/sleeping by noon tomorrow! I too am feeling a little apprehensive about tomorrow. This is my 2nd ER at this clinic and the 1st was painful. It was never painful the first 3 times I did it at the other clinic. I'll just have to ask them to increase the drugs!

Michelle, how did your scan go? Are you taking your hcg tonight?

Klor, how is your 2ww going? I think that it is the hardest part of this whole process!

Kay/Kelly, good luck with your egg retrievals. Hope you get lots of eggies! I think I'm the last one for retrieval, mine is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 8:00am. I take my trigger shot tonight at 9:00. Woo hoo, glad all the shots are over!!! Now we just get to look forward to the progesterone shots in the booty!

Vicky, glad to hear that you are feeling good after your transfer. Take it easy this week.

I just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck over the next couple weeks. I am in the middle of my 2 week wait and I go for my PT on June 25th. The days seem to be dragging!!!!

Hey Ya'll..

Tomorrow is a HUGE day for Kay and Kelly!!!! Michelle is next!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get ready for the progestorone shots... Sitting on ice before and after helps ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vicky.. How are you feeling after your transfer.... I am crampy and I sorta got yelled at yesterday when I said that I was savorying(sp) my pain meds- taking like 2 aday and they said stress on embies not good.. Are you lying around, sitting? I had to lie to my mom again today and tell her I had a migraine and that is why I would not be seeing her today. I go back to work on Wed.... I sit a lot and get up a few times.. so I will be fine- hopefully!!!

My pregnancy test is for 28 June.If it sucks... I will have a treat on the 30th of June... going to go see Dancing with the Stars... LOVE THAT SHOW!!! 2 weeks suck.... I weigh about 157 and I am very bloated.. my mom will know something is up and I don't want to get her hopes up. She is 80 and not in the best of health... Klor... how are you handling the 2 weeks... any advice?

I hope everyone is doing well with lots of PMA and baby dust around.. DH is being very supporative...
