Maternitywear question

Post by KESSA »

I want to start swimming regularly now the weather is better, but I don't know whether to get a one piece or a tankini, I know it's personal choice but I wanted opinions on what you guys have found more comfortable. Pre-pregnancy I normally wear a two piece but when I showed my husband the costumes I was looking at he said he thought the two piece would make me look bigger than I am (baggy material I think is what he meant?!), I'm 17w3d and some people tell me I don't even look pregnant! (although I grew out of my regular clothes weeks ago!) Any advice would be helpful.

I have both a one piece and tankini and I think your dh might be right. The tankini is a little more comfortable and easier to go to the bathroom and what not, but the one piece does make me look more pregnant and less fat!

I think whatever makes you feel good about yourself is good! And maybe what works now will not be what works in, say, ten weeks, but you can always change then.

I'm wearing my pre-pregnancy bikinis and I think they look really cute with the bump :D

Happy swimming!
