Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I have had 5 goes of ICSI at the ACU in Kings College London, I am considering one last & final go and was thinking of maybe going to another clinic. What do people think of Kings? because this is the only place I have been to I have nothing to compare it with. Any advise would be much appreciated. We are looking at maybe Holly House, UCH or the ARGC
Thanks girls
B
I'm at Holly House, I find everyone there lovely. Unfortunately I am still waiting to get a BFP, had one fresh IVF and one FET. This will be our last go as we only have 2 frosties left and I can't go through another IVF.
The statistics are pretty good at Holly House and they try where possible to get the embies to blasto stage. Let me know if you want any specific info - won't promise I will be able to answer but I will try!!!

Hi B,
We went to the Lister and I've been really impressed by their professionalism but also their personal touch (can request the same nurse, consultant etc etc). I have had the same consultant for each of my embryo transfers. We also went through ICSI and are now, following the second fresh cycle, 13 weeks pregnant. They have very good rates, I think second after the ARGC. They were also very proactive about my drug regime, they decided to go ahead with my egg collection despite a pretty high oestrogen level, so that I didn't have to coast and risk egg quality deterioration. The consultants are involved in these decisions rather than it just becoming a conveyor belt, they really try and vary the regime specifically to suit the individual.
Obviously geography etc also have an impact on your decision, but I have been very happy with the Lister.
Good luck with your treatment whatever decision you make
LOL

ps I also found Zita West an absolute godsend, obv if you can do go and see her (defo get acupuncture around the transfer), but failing that buy her book 'fertility and conception' it talks you through the stages of IVF with helpful tips about how you can help the process. I really found the book incredibly helpful.
