How many of you are pregnant with only 1 embie transferred?

Hi girls, sorry to crash in this side of the forum, obviously I am not pregnant....yet .
I have a question for you, this cycle was not very good, I only had 4 follicles, from there they retrieved 3 eggs and only 1 fertilized. Now my ET is going to be on Monday 18, but I am a little nervous, I was actually expecting to have 3 embies transferred this cycle, and I am only having one. How many of you are pregnant after only transferring one embie??

Hey! My long lost April buddy. I've been wondering how you are doing. I have to say I got pregnant on my WORST cycle when I only had 2 4 celled embies transferred on day 3. That is pretty poor quality, but we had an amazing baby from it. Last cycle I had 6 transferred and nothing. It really depends on the embie and I'm a firm beleiver in quality or quantity. Lasat year someone had a post of encouragement when they also only had one embie and got pregnant. Search under "it only takes one" I think that was the heading. There are so many women with 1 embie that get pregnant. Don't loose hope in the little guy.

I jsut had transfer yesterday. You're only 3 days behind me. Sending you enomous sticky vibes and babydust. BTW, if they do assisted hatching, it is also increased possibility of twinning

HEy I got ID twins out of just 1 embryo, admittedly this is quite rare but goes to show anything can happen ?!?!? good luck

I had one blastocyst transferred and it worked!

Hi,
Just wanted to tell you it only takes one. I went through my first IVF cycle and had 10 eggs collected.Out of those 10 only 3 fertilized.Out of the 3 one stood out to be perfect on day three.We transfered the one and I'm now 10 weeks pregnant.It really can happen with only one. I almost transfered two because of the "chances" of only one sticking but I knew I did not want twins. I don't think it matters "how many" you transfer but whether the embie is of good quality and your body wants to let it grow.That's my thoughts anyway. I hope this helps and gives you hope.It really does only take one.

My dear friend! I am so sorry I have missed so much! I am sorry to hear about your troubles, but I too have good news for you. I had 8 follies which yeiled 5 eggs. Only one egg made it to fertilization. That egg was transfered 30 hours after fert. and I was told there was little chance. Low and behold, Makayla is a survivor. As you noticed she arrived last Tuesday and she is my miracle. God has plans for all of us, don't lose hope. I am praying hard for you!

Hallo there - incidentally this is my first post, (I have been 'lurking' for quite a while though )

I have had 3 IVF/ICSI cyles. With our last cycle I only had 3 eggs, 2 fertilized and we had only ONE 6-day blastocyst to put back and I am pregnant!

Keep your hopes up and stay positive!!!

I had ET today, we transferred our little fighter, I am actually very happy, since I was afraid of not making it to ET, but now that it's done and the baby is inside of mommy I am sure he/she will like it here for the next 9 months



Test date is June 29, will keep you guys posted!!!

Hi Vicky. Good to hear from you. I remember you from Nov cycle buddies. Just to let you know that i only had 1 embie to transfer after 5 days and with screening. I was very disapointed and know how you feel. However i am 34 weeks pregnant and believe that it only takes one little fighter. I will be thinking of you on the 29th and will be sending you lots of sticky dust you deserve it so much.

I had 7 follies, 4 eggs, and 3 fertilized, 2 made it to blast and 1 put back. I am expecting my little boy on Nov 3rd. So it only takes one!!!
