Hi all,
Transfer went well this morning. We transfered back two embrios. One was a cell 8 and the other a cell 7. Not sure what exactly that means but the doctor said they looked "beautiful". So b/w on july 5. Best of luck to all.

Just heard, still not sure whether I am triggering tomorrow night or Thursday night. They want me to see Dr. Toner in the morning for one final scan and estrogen test to determine whether it's tomorrow or Thurs pm. I was so frazzled I forgot to even ask what my estrogen was today but I'm assuming it was rising as it should. I am really feeling huge at the moment and my ovaries are starting to hurt. I hope I can trigger tomorrow!

Let's see... My doc started me out on a really low dose of gonal f because of my pcos. I was on 112.5 (whatever the unit is) a day. On day 1 of stims my E2 level was 60. On day 4 my E2 was 489. On day 6 it had gone up to 1752. Doc reduced my gonal f to 75 units. On Day 8 my E2 was a whopping 5078. I had it measured again today (Day 9), but I don't know what it is. The dr. thought it would be around 7000. I haven't overstimulated yet, but if I do it will either be tomorrow am or Thursday am. At this point, there's nothing I can do to prevent it so I just have to wait and see.

Tomorrow is my retrieval so I'm hoping that these hight E2 levels means I have a lot of good quality eggs. If I can at least get some good eggs out of this, even if I overstimulate and we have to postpone transfer, it would be worth it. I'll keep you posted.

By the way, I was also taking 1 cc of low dose hcg a day and 5 units of lupron a day.

(you call it "suppression", I believe). My suppression drag is called Daronda. Does anyone know it?

Just a quick update, follies have finally started growing after consultant put my Gonel F up,
Now doing alternate days of 150iu-225ie.
Had blood work yesterday day 9-1960.
Having b/w again on friday am to check my levels, then scan again sat, hopefully will be triggering on sunday!!

How are you doing, growing those follies well i hope

I am on Day 5 of stims and except for the skin soreness, and a little puffiness, I don't really feel anything. I also think I'm on a very large dose, so I would think I would feel my ovaries. When did you guys start to feel the effects of the stims?

Congrats to those who had their retrievals go well & congrats to those who transfered. All the baby sticky dust your ways.

I will go today for my first ultrasound and find out how many follies I might have. All I know is that I am very uncomfortable. Lots of bruising on my tummy and lots of bloating. Sitting is not very comfortable.

Hi Jen,
Dr. Toner is my favorite doctor there. I've seen him the most and he did my D&C when I miscarried and he just has such a good beside manner. I just really appreciated the way I was treated at ACRM during that very difficult time in my life.

Well my trigger is tonight and my retrieval on Friday. I've got about 10-12 follies but it looks like 5-6 are the frontrunners. I asked him about the smaller ones and he said they usually don't produce good eggs but they take them anyway because you never know. I guess I looked really disappointed because he said...you've got 5-6 really good ones, that's good news. So I'm trying to stay optimistic and I'm hoping I really do get some good ones and that they fertilize.

They are doing ICSI on half of what they get and letting the other half go natural. They will do assisted hatching on all the embryos you get. My uterine lining was 12mm and has a triple stripe which is very good (first I've ever heard of triple stripe, but okay!) My day 9 estrogen was 1575. Today is day 10, not sure yet what the estrogen is.
