Good morning ladies!

I'll be quick; I'm at the hospital and I won't have the computer for a long time. *sigh*

Sorry I've been somewhat MIA, but I felt I needed to take a break from posting, plus many things happened in the last few days and that kept me very busy.

Jul1e: sweetie, this comes late I know, but I wanted to let you know that I've been thinking of you a lot these days. I'm so sorry to learn the news of your BFN... :( It is very frustrating and sad, and it takes time to fully take the blow, but as you probably know already, it gets better as time passes. I see you have a super good attitude towards all this. And I hope your bloating does the same as mine; my tummy is already back and I didn't even have time to exercise! (the cramping was too bad for that and the weather terribly hot). Yeah, some abs wouldn't hurt but hey, I can wear all my clothes now! ;) Keep us posted sweetheart and I hope your new clinic makes you more comfortable and brings you new hope! *HUGS*

mommytobe: How are you doing sweetheart? Is the big scare just a bad memory now? Thinking of you and your little beanies! :D

jen: aw, sweetheart... so sorry to learn you've been sick non-stop! But your last post suggested you were on your way to getting better... phew! You poor thing, it really sounds like this 2ww was extra hard on you! I'm keeping everything crossed evenm my eyues ads usduial so you get a BFP to make it all worth it tomorrow! Squeeeeeeee! I'm so excited! You must be a pack or nerves! Have you POAS after all? And yep, we're definitely planning for an FET in August.

ltaylor: what drama! Good it has a happy ending though! :D Remember dear... your embies are to microscopic peas trapped in a honey sandwich! They just can't bounce all over the place! ;) Happy 2ww sweetie and we'll all be waiting with you till your pregnancy test! Sending lots of baby dust your way! :D

hrobinson: GOOD JOB HONEY! WOW! That one ovary produced more eggs than my two did on my first cycle, lol! :D We sure missed you sweet pea! :D I'm happy that your two embies are back home and I hope they're snuggling in for an 8-month nap! :D Sweetheart, your comments really touched me... I don't know what to say! THANK YOU for sure, your warmed my heart! I'm just trying to do my best and I'm so happy that it helped you or supported you; it's the whole point really. Don't envy me too much hunny; I hope you don't have to cope with a BFN at all, lol! ;) I hope you have a smooth 2ww without scares and with a BIG candy at the end! Keep us posted my darling!

arizonakiwi: well, TALK ABOUT EMPOWERMENT! GO GIRL! Hehehe tell me about a Shrek 3 attitude! Did you burn your bra by any chance? Hunny, I think your plans are absolutely FABULOUS! And it's exactly what you need at the moment! I know I always have a big rush of energy to just dive into another exciting project after I receive a blow (breakup, disappointment, BFN, surgery, and so on!) and it just does the trick without making you deny or avoid. It's just something that makes you happy and positive again. Aw, this is so exciting! Must have been something to hand in your resignation, wow! I would have been nervous too!

TansRN: hello there sweetie! :D How is MS? Thinking of you dear and waiting to hear about that apt and your new doc! I hope it clicks! :D

Literatriz: cheering your DH's soldiers! Go go go!!!! :D You'll be pregnant soon sweetie, this is so exciting! Can't wait to move you up to the 2ww! Keep us posted and I'm really happy that you can stay in touch!

gbnut: that must have been a rough weekend for you darling... thinking of you here, and sending lots of love.

Okay guys, I have to go, but I'm sending kisses to each of you!

Hi Ladies,

Jenn How are you feeling today. I know you've been having a rough 2ww, but in the end I hope you get your BFP. I am sending you baby dust sweetie.

Hrobinson, WOW your ovary went to work, that great. Sound like you have some good quality embies. Your 2ww will be over before you know it and then comes the BFP.

Literatriz, So nice of you to drop a line, the internet is the best, now you can stay in touch. That is so great that the dr gave you their cell phones. wow you will have your embies all snuggled at home in just a few hours. I will be praying that they stick. I wish your donor all the best as well.

Angela, That is exciting you giving your resignation, its going to be a long 3 1/2 weeks  . I am still smiling about my BFP, and still can't believe its happening I guess I will breath easy when i hear the heart beat which will be first week in july it thinkl.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hugs
Tia

Hi all,

Tia, sounds like you're doing really well, this must be such an exciting time for you. Thank you for your lovely words of support. Interesting what you say about gut instinct, mine was not good for my present clinic, I never felt like an individual there. I'm in Glasgow in Scotland. The new place I think I'm going to I'm going to has only been running for a few months but has success rates of 44% ongoing pregnancy in women under 40 already which seems good. I think I'll call them tomorrow.

Soph, good to hear from you, yes I'm afraid your 2ww buddy didn't get that result either. I haven't managed to get exercising yet either but like you am back in the old clothes. I'm glad you'll be going for it again in August, I think September will be the earliest for me since it'll be a fresh cycle again since they didn't let me freeze any. It'll be interesting to see if they freeze my next lot of embies since I'll be paying for it then.

Liberatriz, I hope tomorrow goes well! Can't wait to hear.

Angela, wow! You really have had a turn around. I'm really happy for you. Now that you'll be studying you'll probably fall pregnant!

Heather, thanks sweetie, I so wish I could have made it but I guess it just wasn't to be. I'll get there one day. So you've made it to the 2ww, well done lady. 17 eggs from one ovary is amazing, I'm not surprised you were so sore. I really hope your babas stick, it's about time this board started getting some BFPs again.

Tanya, how did your appointment go today? And was keeping your secret yesterday ok? Yes, I'm so disapointed but ready to move on to a new clinic.

L, that was an eventful transfer! I wouldn't have been happy with a new doctor doing the it either. So you transferred 3, we're not allowed to do that here, in fact they're talking about changing the law to only transferring 1 embryo. Hope that doesn't get passed til after I've had my twins! :) Lots of luck to you, hope it's third time lucky.

Jen, it's you tomorrow girl! I really hope you get that BFP, can't wait to hear.

Well I've had the worst AF ever. After spotting for a few days yesterday brought the real thing and with it the worst period pains. I was doubled over in pain and painkillers were doing nothing. At 10pm last night I called my Dr mum to see what strong painkillers she had and she told me to come over and she'd give me something. When I came back I took one (you could take one or two but she said they were strong) and that helped and I managed to sleep until around 5am when I woke up in terrible pain again. I took another but an hour later I was still in so much pain that I took a second. Well DH went off to work at 8am and told me to stay in bed as I was still in pain and I work from home on a Monday so I went back to sleep until 12pm! I couldn't believe I slept so long and I still could barely open my eyes - drugged by my own mother! I've been groggy and light headed all day. I don't mind though as I don't think I would have got through last night without them. I'm wondering it's a good sign that AF is so bad, this didn't happen last time at all so perhaps the embies did a lot better this time??? Does that make any sense.

I'm much better tonight although still exhausted so there'll be no gyming it yet for me. Emotionally I'm ok, still gutted of course, wishing it was a week ago and there was still hope for this go but I will get there, I will be a mommy one day somehow.

Take care all.

Hello guys....Updated Blog posting below....

I just got back from the perinatologist appointment and she was wonderful. Her ultrasound machine was hooked up to a large flat screen TV monitor so I could see what was going on. She did a great job answering my questions and making me feel at peace about things. She said that everything else looked good. Baby A is measuring 8W5D with a heartbeat of 176 and Baby B is measureing 8W1D with a heartbeat of 165 I am actually 8W2D so this is pretty good. It was so neat to see how much they have grown in just one weeks time. Unreal. I am so thrilled that things are looking good. I feel better now. Now I do not have another appointment for anything until July 17th. Why does that seem like forever away? Anyhow, thats OK I will make it. One day at a time. I will go in for my anatomy scan on Aug. 27th when I am 18 weeks. I am still having that burning, pulling feeling and she said that it was because of my previous C-sections-the scar tissue stretching. She said that this should only improve. Just a sidenote....no vag u/s today!!! I was able to have the abdominal one-MUCH BETTER!!!!

Jules
Thank you for asking about my appointment. Kind of you to remember. I did update some photos at the blog today...I hope that you are doing well in formulating your plan!!! I am so sorry that you had such a bad AF. I have had them and they are not the greatest!!

Sophie
Thank you so much. I really loved the doc. She was wonderful and about immediately put my mind at ease about a lot of things. Very calming personality.Loved her!!! Thank you for asking. The MS is still there but I just try to smile. She did recommend some Zofran for me if it gets too bad. Good Choice. I want to tell you that you really do a wonderful job with the list girl. You really do. It is amazing and you keep up with it so well!!!!

L
I am so excited for you! I really am! This is so great. I am happy for you and i know you are about jumping out of your shoes as well. This is a good time for you. Let us know when you can. Sending you lots of sticky baby dust!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Angela
Thank you for asking. I went today as you read. It is so hot here today I have been trying to hang out inside. It is near 100 degrees here. UUGGHH that is way to hot for my liking not pg!!! LOL

hrobinson
I would say that you would be good to test about the 20th-22nd for the earliest-that gives your body 10-12 days to get rid of the HCG shot. I would think that would be good. Most woment get it out of their system by the 5 day range. I know what the text books say 10-14 days but I am telling you I have been around and most people are clear by day 5-7. Just an average not like it is scientific or anything!!!! I am a POAS Queen!!!! LOL I say take the FRER on one of these days. You should be good. Mucho Sticky baby dust to you and your em-babies!!!!

Hello Everyone else-Hope that you are all doing well!!!!

Jen all the very best for today.

sending love to everyone

Well I started to bleed yesterday so it should be all over very soon. Had considerable amount of pain this am an dJames said i passed out and was frozen but as soon as i got the tramadol and voltemol in me i felt much better and now i only have a dull ache until the drugs ware off. Cant take any of my heavy duty stuff now till later tonight and tomorrow as they are slow release. I have also lost the plot and have started to d/r today for another medicated FET. So should have my last ever ET in about three weeks. This will be our last attempt.

Hello guys!

How are you doing this morning? I'm doing great! big meeting coming tomorrow at work, but I'm surviving! :D

mommytobe: hehehe glad to read that you're still smiling! :D

Jul1e: hey, I was complaining about intense AF pain, but yours sounded a thousand times worse! Oh, I'm SO sorry to hear about that! You must have been through hell sweetie! *HUGS* I'm so sorry the meds were not super effective... I'm very relieved that things are better now, but you went through a real rough patch. And yes, it totally makes sense; I thought the same thing with my AF being more painful... hard not to. And yes, yes, YES! You will be a mommy one day my darling! :D Mmmmh... last time, they let me do a fresh cycle on my third AF after BFN, including the BFN AF...

TansRN: I'm SO glad that you clicked with your doc! A doc with a calming effect and who has the skill to reassure you is what you need my dear! Yaaaay! :D I'm so happy for you! Sorry to hear that the MS is still bad.. have the link I sent you helped a little bit? And thank you for your nice comments about the list! *blushes* It's so nice of you to say that! Keep us posted my darling!

gbnut: hello there! It's so nice to have news, Susan! I'm sorry that the bleeding started today... :( I hope it will be over soon so you can put all that behind you my dear... glad that your pain is under control, at least. *phew* I'm surprised that they let you cycle again so soon! But I have added you on the list and I'm sending lots of baby dust to you for this cycle. Knowing it's your last attempt must be nerve wracking... *hugs* I really hope it works for you hunny. I'll be thinking of you.

Okay, gotta go to a meeting. Take care ladies and have a great day!

Jen779 Wishing you the best today!!!!!!!! Sending you BFP vibes!!!!!!!! Good luck.

Tanya I am so so happy that your appt went well. I can't wait until mine this Friday. I have been so so tired this past 2 weeks. I dont' know if it is lack of having a gallbladder or the baby but everything I eat makes me pukey. I can say thank god I have not actually lost my cookies but man sometimes that sounds better than queezy. Hope things are progressing well and will chat later.

Will do more personals later DH is home with my food :D

Hey girls! Sorry it has been so long we have been in and out of town and busy busy!

Tanya- I'm so glad your dr. visit went well. Sorry you are having MS, I have been feeling queasy at times but not full blown yet. Is that how it starts? Should I expect it to worsen? July 17th will be here before you know it, but I know it seems far away.

gbnut- sorry you are in pain. I hope it gets better soon. Glad to see you are already going ahead with the FET. WOW, that was fast!

Jen- Best of luck today! Keeping everything crossed!

I had scan this morning and saw a heartbeat. It was great. I don't have to go back until next Tuesday. Everything was looking good she said. Still on the PIO and patches. My rear end is not liking that!

Well, I'm off to take a nap. I'm beat! Take care ladies, I know I don't post much but you are always in my thoughts and my prayers at night!
Jenn

Hello Everyone! It is a BFN for me...I'm actually relieved considering how sick I was. I have never been so sick in my entire life. I also ended up having an allergic reaction to the progesterone again. Well, actually my RE thinks it's that my body doesn't tolerated IM injections. I ran fever for seven days and yesterday I started to develop welps at my injection sites. I was nervous for what the result of my baby would have been considering I ran a fever up to 102.0 at one point. I believe this is actually a blessing. I already have my next FET scheduled with this period when I start hopefully the 2nd week in July. I am in good spirits and just wanted to thank everyone for there support! I will stick around to hopefully hear the good news of everyone else, but I think I will keep to myself for this next cycle.

Dear jen,

I just wanted to let you know that I'm very sad to learn the news of your BFN. You're right, sick as you were, being pregnant would have been even more anxiety-provoking. I felt the same when I started bleeding so much; having a BFP would have been quite bitter. I'm really happy to hear that you're keeping your chin up, *hugs*! I'm also very happy that your FET will be attempted with your next AF; it will be there soon I'm sure. As for the PIO... *SIGH* an allergic reaction again? Man! No pun intended, but it's really a pain in the... had they changed the type of oil this time at least? I think they had, right? And you're still allergic? What alternative will they give you with your next FET? I'm totally with you on keeping your next cycle to yourself. I've made the decision that I won't come on the forum during my next cycle. If I'm pregnant, though, I sure will! But... even if you ladies were amazing, especially this time on this thread, and even if I LOVED cycling with you, I find that cycling on a forum makes you focus on each tiny detail of your cycle even more. You talk about it every day when you give news, you compare yourself, you look at your ticker... I'd like to be a bit more detached with my first FET and see how it goes.

Take care my darling and thanks for sticking around, because I want to know how you're doing! *hugs* Lots of love,

Sophie xxox
