Hey Jodi, seems like you are kind of crampy, sorry about that, fortunately I never had cramps on any of my transfers, I haven't even needed Tylenol on any of my retrievals as well, so I guess I am not a good parameter, maybe I am a tough girl  , anyway, I hope you get better!!!!. So our test date is one day apart!!, it's great that you have something to look forward in case things don't go as expected, some people plan some IWDGPT (if we don't get pg trip) .......I am also kind of bloated, but I kind of been accumulating bloatedness (or should I say fat) through out the last treatments  . I took today and tomorrow off of work, going back on Wednesday, same as you......

Klor....I know the 2ww goes by soooooooo slow, is like the slowest 2 weeks of your life  . Let us know how you are doing!!!!, and sending you lots of sticky baby dust!!!!, let me add you to the list!!

Hi Jodi - I wish I had advice on the 2ww, but I don't think I can offer any. I actually get a lot of comfort keeping in touch with other girls on the meassage board here. My DH is very supportive, but I don't think he quite gets the anxious feeling. So, it is great to have support from other woman that are going through a similar experience. Everyone here knows how much the 2 ww is torture!!! I have 6 days left!!! (AND COUNTING!!!)

I am sorry you have to keep lying to your mother. I made up a story about hurting my shoulder so that my softball team wouldn't question why I can't make it

Vicky - thanks for the baby dust and the same to the rest of the ladies. How are you doing after the transfer? I had such a hard time staying in bed, I just wanted to move around!! I guess I am the first to have the PG test out of the group. Hopefully I will set the bar with this entire group with a bunch of BFP for everyone!!!! :D

Hi Everyone,

So, I am finished my ER and am actually doing okay. A bit sleepy but not completely konked out which is nice.
There were able to get 11 eggs so I am pleased. Now, I just have to hope that they fertilized!!! I will be anxiously awaiting the call tomorrow to tell me how many made it. My doctor is hopefully that with 11 eggs retrieved that we should have enough to take through to blast. We also have our 3 frozen ones that we are adding into the mix.

Congrats, Vicky, Jodi and Klor on getting to the 2ww stage. While the worst part of this whole process, you are close to the end!!! Next week is a big one for all of you.

Kay how was your ER today?

Michelle, are you feeling ready for tomorrow! Good luck!

I'll keep you updated as I hear new info from the lab!

Hey.
Not feeling so great today... I hurt kinda bad lower quadrant.. I will call clinic tomorrow..

Kelly you rock with 11 eggies!!!!
Michelle- I will be thinking about you tomorrow.....
IVFMUM.. you must be really tired..Looking forward to hearing from you
Vicky.. I need lessons from you on PMA...Clinic suppose to call today to see if any embies made it to freeze.. Hubby is playing hockey and I have a feeling he isn't telling me to get me upset that none made it.... I love the PUPO thing...... My husband has PMA because he mentioned to me tonight before he left to play hockey ... How are we gonna give you your shot in the arse Friday...... I am going to the Harry Connick Concert.. Acturally I am treating my VERY SMALL staff to the concert.... I guess I will be dropping trou in the parking lot..." But officer... I promise.. It is for a good cause."

I had to right out tell my mom today I wasn't pregnant because she kept staring at my belly... I said I look pale and crappy because I have a migraine. I also had my Fat girl scuba suit undies on cause I am bloated....

Anyway..... I am praying, I am doing what I can. I have lost my appitite.. maybe due to nerves.. I am just so scared that I will fail with this.

You ladies are truely wonderful.... may we all have our dreams made come true......

Lots of baby dust...

Hi ladies - Everyone is sounding positive and happy, which is great. 11 eggs is totally awesome!! Can't believe we're all either on the 2ww or about to be, it felt like such a long journey and know it seems to be here so soon at the same time......anyway
sorry for not posting yesterday. I did try as soon as I got back from hospital but had a little trouble with my laptop on a major go slow. So decided to wait for the fertilization report today and then post.
So I managed to get 9 good eggs and I've had my phone call this morning at 8.30am to tell me that 7 have fertilized and that they are already put some to freeze. So I was quite pleased with that.
Hoping for a little girl on the quiet as I am totally out numbered by boys and their toys, football etc. but obviously be delighted with another healthy gorgeous boy.
Got everything crossed for us all

Love to you all

Yeah for everyone! I am so jealous Kay that you already have your fertilization report. I've heard nothing yet but I guess it is only 7:45 AM here right now. I'll have to be patient!

Michelle, best of luck today! We'll be anxious to hear the final count!!!

Kay, 7 fertilized is fantastic. I would be so pleased if 7 get to that stage today!

Vicky, great attitude. I sure hope that I have the same PMA when I start my 2ww either Friday or Sunday depending on whether it goes to blast.

Jodi, sorry you are feeling a bit down. I think that is pretty normal! But I think feeling crappy is a good thing!!!!

Klor, how are you doing. Not long left for you.

Me again! Just wanted to share my news....

Of the 11 eggs they got yesterday, 10 fertilized!!!! And the embryologist comments that 9 are perfect and one is just slightly slower. I am so excited I can hardly think straight.

The last round there was a comment on my eggs being slightly abnormal but this time they said they look good! So, this could be my lucky round!!!

Thinking of you all!!!

They got 5 eggs so I'm hoping for the best. Hope we have better quality than quantity. We'll find out this afternoon how many fertilize.

weLL..... I am pretty pissed off at the little town we live in. Last night my DH comes home and says that Clayton has contaiminated H2O supply by Coliform bacteria( related to e coli.). Anyway.. I had just finished dinner and said to my self.. well.. I boiled the H2O for the mac and cheese.. He later went on to tell me that we can't EVEN WASH our hands in the H2O and that the town had know about it since Monday. (this is Tuesday). Paper this morning said that pregnant women and children under 6 months SHOULD NOT drink the boiled H2O beacuse the bacteria releases some nitrates that can be harmful... Great..

I called the stupid town of clayton this morning and asked the town manager how many iirrate people he had encountered. He said not many and I said. Do you realize that the newspaper is reporting for women who are pregnant and young children not to drink boiled h20. He said no. I said that I suggest that you get your stories straight. I was LIVID. I said that I and a procedure done on SUNDAY to implant embryo's in me . I was livid........ He was an ASSSSSSSS . I asked him why didn't they notify people on MOnday when they found out.. They said they didn't feel it was a need.. I said the Raleigh newspaper says otherwise. The health depts. closed the daycares in towns and I am sure the restaurants... I wanted to tell him I am gonna Erin Brochovitch your ass mister. (reference to a movie). I called the clinic pretty weepy and I haven't heard back from them yet.

I am glad that everyone is doing well.. I am not feeling so positive at all about the outcome of the procedure. Clinic still hasn't called to let us know how many were able to be frozen. I am work and pretty much a basket case...... I suck. Bringing ya'll down......

take care

Kelly.....congrats on that amazing fert report, I would love to have 10 embies!!!, that is a whole family of embies you have there  . When is your ET???

Michelle....congrats on having ER finally!!!, 5 eggies is great!!. Will be hoping you get a great fert report!!, keep us posted!!, do you know when will ET be??

Jodi.....wow, can't believe what happened in your town, what did your doctors told you about it?. Most probably nothing will happen, so try to relax if you can (I know, easier said than done :? ). Try to cheer up, think about your embies, they are inside of you trying to grow as much as they can, right now they need your PMA like nothing in this world!!!!

Well, not much going on here, keep talking to the belly, wishing my little one is snuggling in
Hope everyone is doing ok!!!!!

Good evening (well its evening here anyway) ladies. I had transfer today, 2 embies. 1, 5 cell grade 1 and 1, 4 cell grade 2. Convinced its a boy and a girl as the three boys I have were all 5 cell grade 1!!

They already froze 2 yesterday 5 cell grade 2 and 4 cell grade 3 I think... There was a spare 3 left overnight just in case. They couldn't be frozen today as they were 5 cells each and apparently you can't freeze an odd number as they don't freeze and thaw as well??? I'm confused as I could have sworn she said she froze a 5 cell yesterday. But anyway I've got to wait and see if they make it to 8 cell tomorrow (she said there was a very good chance) and if so she would freeze them tomorrow.

The embryologist said they have all divided at a very good rate.

When doing transfer she had the catheter in but said it was too soft to get around a 'bend' in my cervix and had to take it out and get something a little harder, this kind of put me off a bit.
But still I'm sure the 5 cell was a boy and 4 cell was a girl. So fingers crossed for mine and all our little darlings.

I'll have to get off this laptop now because dh will go beserk if I'm typing away, he wants me to lay and not move off the couch.

Sorry for waffling on about myself girls, I'm thinking of you all and will check in in the morning for all your reports.
