I urgently need your prayers please. I woke up this morning with severe cramps (my uterus, not my stomach - almost AF like, but worse ) and when I phoned my OB/GYN he could only see me on Friday! I am really worried, please will you pray that everything will be fine with our baby. We have waited SO long for this miracle.
Thank you.

Oh Iccin! Of course you and Spikkelki are in my prayers! My husband and I will both pray for you until you tell us that you are feeling better. I know that you are scared. Please try to think positive thoughts and stay well rested. I wish with all my heart there was something more that I could do or say to help you right now.
How very frustrating that your OB/GYN can't see you right away.
PLEASE go to the emergency room if you start to feel worse or you just can't wait until Friday. It is always better to be told that it is nothing to worry about than to sit there and worry.
Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes - please don't stop praying!
I had to phone the OB/GYN's emergency number around 10pm last night. He prescribed pain meds, more progesterone and put me on strict bed rest for 5 days and told me to come and see him on TUESDAY when he'll do a sonar and another beta!! He said other than that there isn't much they can do. He told me to phone him on the emergency number immediately if there is any sign of spotting or blood.
In South Africa you are not allowed to go to an emergency room (private or state) if you are on IVF treatment. It is regarded as totally separate from 'normal' ailments/ilnesses and they do not accept responsibility at ER's or hospitals for IVF patients. I can go to the clinic where I had my IVF/ICSI done, but they are only open office hours. Contrary to popular belief, South Africa is NOT a first world country ;o) Count your blessings!
I am still cramping, but there is NO SIGN of blood, for which I am very thankful. Please, please, please keep us in your prayers.
Thank you so very much and God bless all of you.

I am still cramping on a regular basis, (SO sore ) but praise God, there is no sign of spotting or blood! My OB/GYN prescribed 'legal' pain meds, but I'm quite weary to use it, I'm so scared it will harm the baby. So now I try to stick it out rather than popping pills
It feels like forever until my betal test on Tuesday 26 June and the 'strict bedrest' is driving me nuts, but i'm trusting God to keep this baby safe.
Thank you for all your prayers and well-wishes, please don't stop praying!

I am pleased to hear that you are staying in bed and resting as your doctor advised. And that you haven't seen any bleeding seems to be a good sign too right? I don't blame you on being leery of the pills, even if they are "legal". I understand why you are choosing to stick it out. Piece of mind.
We are still praying for you and Spikkelki. The 26th will be here soon!
Iccin, words cant describe how sorry i am for you and DH.
I hope you find the strength and courage to go on,
With love and best wishes..Nicola..xx
