Well Vicky, looks like we're in the same boat. Out of the 5 eggs collected only 1 has fertilized for sure (they are keeping a second one that may have fertilized, not sure why they aren't sure). So I'll have either one or two put back in the oven tomorrow, June 22. I am almost sick to my stomach about this. Hopefully our little miracles will take! I'm keeping everything crossed, but it is very upsetting. :(

Michelle please don't get too disheartened as it only takes one. My 3 year is the result of one frostie!! I couldn't believe it when he thawed never mind when I got pregnant. So please remember you're PMA. You need a nice relaxed happy, comfortable home for your baby tomorrow, OK. Right lecture over.

Goodluck tomorrow

Thanks for the pep talk Kay. I need all the help I can get right now. That is quite a story that you have about your one frozen embryo. I know it just takes one!

Michelle......hopefully the second one will catch up and you will have 2 to put in the oven  . But I have been doing a lot of research on single embryo transfer and the results are very promising, so even if you have only one don't give up hope, I am very positive about my little fighter, and I am about your one/two little fighters!!!

IVFMum.....congrats about the 2 embies transferred today!!!!, they sound very promising!!!!!, did you do PGD? (I mean because you know the sex, or are you guessing??), when is your test date??

Kelly when is your transfer???

How is the rest of the gang doing???

I am ok, with lots of PMA!!!. Although work has been crazy and I am afraid of stress hurting the baby, I really hope not!!!!!

Hi
I'm simply guessing the sex as one was a 5 cell and my 3 boys I have were all 5 cells when transferred and as the other was smaller only 4 cell decided she was a girl. (sex selection is illegal in the UK) I don't test until the 4th or 5th of July, my clinic don't do blood tests or anything it is literally just a pt you can do it at home if you like and then give them a ring. Theres no way I'll be waiting until the 4th either I'll probably do it on the 1st July, then the 2nd, then the 3rd and then the 4th. I think I keep the hpt people in business to be honest, I always do loads just to check.

I am so excited for us all, the 2 weeks will fly by, just you wait and see girls. The weekend always flies so we'll be 2 days closer.

Hi All,

Well, I think by now everyone is on their 2ww but me! Good luck to everyone - let's hope those embies are sticky!!!

The update on my front... The 10 fertilized embies are still going strong. They decided to take them all to blast, so as of today I have 8 8-cell, 1 7-cell and 1 6-cell. They also thawed my three frozen 3-day embies but the shell cracked on all of them. The lab said that the embryos survived but the shell cracked so he isn't sure whether they'll make it to blast. My transfer will be done on Sunday! I sure hope they don't start the 2 ww from that point, I would be in agony waiting since I've already waited 5 days since ER for the ET. Given my difficulties in the past, we are hopefully going to transfer 3-4 on Sunday (if enough make it).

How is everyone feeling? Klor you are almost at your beta - you must be so excited!

Take care and have a relaxing enjoyable weekend!!!

I think they generally start the 2ww on the day of your egg retrieval. My pt is scheduled for the 4th of July.

Thanks Vicky. I'm actually feeling great. Our one embie was a grade A quality, so that is one positive. The transfer went smooth. DH and I celebrated and went out and had Italian for lunch. Now I'm at home and just taking it easy for the rest of the day. It's so exciting to know that a little embryo is floating around in there somewhere! I'm all smiles! :D

Hi girls how are you guys doing????
I must accept it, I am starting to freak out  . It looks like the second week is not going to run as smooth as the first one, I guess since the PT date is approaching I am starting to get scared now.
I have no symptoms at all, and that scares me a lot, not even sore bb's.....

What about you guys????

hi you guys. I wish i had found this website way back in the beginning of june. I am a little ahead of you. I started my stims on the 29th of may and had ER on the 10th ( trigger on the 8th) . transfer on the 15th and my test will be tommorrow.
i have been battling ohss. it hasnt gotten to bad. just really bloated and some cramping in the ovaries. I took hpt monday 18th.. negative... took one thursday 21, friday 22, sat 23 all positives. LOL. i know it isn't for sure.. but it gave me somehting to look forward to each day and kept me from getting to anxious and depressed.
I have enjoyed reading all of your posts. I so wish i had found you earlier. this is my first completed cycle of ivf... had one canelled in december o6 right before egg ret. those of you who aren't having any sysmptoms yet .. dont worry.... mine didn't really show up till this week and i have been on progesterone shots since egg ret. all of the sudden this week boobs sore, some queasiness. Hang in there and good luck to you all. did any of you fine the ET anticlimatic?? LOL after all the craziness... it just seemed to go so fast and no big deal LOL. 10 minutes i was done!
as they say... ***** baby dust to you all********
