MommyTfive- I was reading and braxton hicks start as early as 6 weeks, most don't start to feel them if any around 20 weeks. And they say that it really isn't something to worry about. It helped me understand them a little better. I started to have them about 17 weeks. I get them when I am on my feet alot. I am pretty sure that is what they are, because after reading they say they can feel alot like af cramps, which is what I get. So I probably had them earlier. But when I talked to the nurse they said to get a maternity belt, which helps with back pain, and pulling, and cramping. it gives extra support to your pelvic area. I wear it daily at work, and I do have to say, it works great, I don't really get stretching pains or crams when I wear it. So try that. I hope it works for you.

CONGRATULATIONS REBECCA!!!! You are gonna have your hands full!! Two boys whew bless your heart, but that is neat because they can share everything!!

Mommy that is really neat to have even boys and girls!! I have been having braxton hicks since I was 12 weeks, they told me the same thing about the belly supporter, I havent used one but I am not having as many contractions as I was either I believe mine was due to the infection I had, because now that it's gone alot of my pains are too. If you are too worried call you OB and have them check you. I did and it make me feel alot better knowing everything was still closed up tight!! My Rn at the OB told me there is no stupid question or feeling when you are pregnant, if you don't feel right then come in and get it checked out!! I did and now I have relaxed alot with my pregnancy and I am now enjoying it more.

JenWhen did you say your scan was? I know at 20 weeks but what day? I am anxious for you now to find out what it is! It's funny cause I dont even know you but I feel like it is me again.

I see my dr. every 4 weeks now. It was hard at first because I was use to the every other week visits. But after 13 weeks they changed it. But after so many months they go back to everyother week and then weekly. I think that during the 2nd trimester, there really isn't much going on, they watch closely in the beginging for m/c and then in the end they look for signs of early labor. I don't know.

Up until I started feeling the baby move I really worried, but now when I feel it move, it is like a reminder it is there for sure. I can't believe how much the movement is getting stronger and feel it more often. I can really feel it when I have the pg belt on, I think because it puts pressure against it. But I love the feeling. Gosh it is still so hard to believe.

I can't wait for a week. I will be happy boy or girl. I have been wanting a girl, but we had aaron's god child (2 weeks old) this weekend, and wow, now I kind of want a boy. I don't know. It will be awesome either way. I am just hoping that things go good for the next 15 weeks at least. Gosh next week will be 20 weeks for me and then I count down. That is scary, because time doesn't seem as long then. I can't wait.

WTG JEN I know you are so happy to finally find out and to get to see that baby. It has been a while for you! I have been busy, but I have been thinking about you wandering how things went just now got the chance to log on. I am tickled pink lol no pun intendedLOL.

Wow MUMTOJAZZIE another girl on here, better be careful these girls are outweighing the boys lol Congratulations!!!!

Wisconsongal it is good to hear from you, been thinking about you, and how you were!! Glad to see you check in come back anytime!!

As for me nothing new, just growing and enjoying all the kicks and bumps, and getting to find little arms or legs. Not sure which but I can tell it is one or the other I can feel it pushed up into my belly sometimes. It sure makes you feel better when you know everything is all ok and they are moving and kicking. Only 20 more weeks to go we are half way there!!!

Now we are gonna have to start posting names, so we will know what to call each others babies!! I will as soon as I decide on one. We are having a time trying to figure out a name. I had a girls name but not the boys. Although no matter what his given name is he will be called 8) "Tuffy" he has been called that before day one.
My girls name was gonna be :D Jaycee Annabelle.
The only boy name we seem to agree on so far is Justice :? but nothing to go with it any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Ok gonna get back to work now talk to you ladies later!!! Here's to big baby bellies!!!! :D :D :D :D

Rhylee Ann, is the name we have picked out for a girl. I can't believe only 20 weeks left, this time is flying by. We are going to get our crib tomorrow, and set it up. I know it is early, but it It will be amazing to go into the room and seeing it everyday. I can't wait.

Well the dr. called to tell me the u/s looked fine but the femurs measured short. My whole family is short like 5 ft or so, even less for some, so I really think that is why. But I am going to have another u/s to look at it closer, to rule out any syndromes. Everything else looked fine, so I don't think anything is really wrong, but still makes you worried. I should find out soon when I can have it done. Because it is still in the back of my head. But I really feel like things are fine. So please pray for me that things are really fine.

Would you mind if I joined? My due date is Nov 5/07!

Post by D »

Hi everyone,

My BFP was from IVF/ICSI. I had two failed IUIs prior to that. Its so neat to find people with the same due date! I just had my 20 week u/s on Monday everything is normal. We have decided to go with the surprise and not find out the gender! How was your u/s? I was very upset actually crying (been VERY emotional lately - hormones raging) The sonographer just zipped right through it mumbling etc we didn't get to see anything! I heard that its supposed to be such an incredible experience. NOT for us!! I am so glad we didnt find out the gender after that experience. It would not have been a happy memory!

So how are you all doing?
