Hi,
I am 32 and my DH is 36, ttc since 2004. I did 5 IUIS bfn. I got laproscopy done in Nov 06 to find mild stage 2 endo. My DH sperm count and motility on low side but not as severe as to do ICSI. The RE was not sure if we would need ICSI for our first IVF in June but eventually we did not need it. During my ER 10 eggs were retrievd and 8 fertilized. Two blastocyst were put in and got BFN. Two blastocyst were frozen in the whole process.
My questions are
1. Does anybody have a similar case and still got bfp.
2. Does this look like an impantation issue
3. Do you think I hav any hope from FET.
I am feeling very hopeless and cannot bear the thought that my DH would never be a daddy. He just adores kids. His love for his brothers and sister's kids makes me very sad. I live very far away from my family so nobody to support. Please any information would be greatly appreciated.

You've only had one BFN so you have a great chance of getting a BFP but you have to hang in there. I know lots of people get BFPs on their 3rd or 4th attempts, have a look at the case studies on this HFEA guide to infertillity; http://www.hfea.gov.uk/docs/Guide2.pdf
Like you I've been ttc since 2004 and I did IUIs which didn't work. I have now sadly had two failed IVF attempts but I'm not giving up. My bro and wife have beautiful twins from IVF number 4 which just shows you never know which one is going to work. I'm going to a new clinic for my next attempt which is giving me new hope.
Like you I wonder if implantation is a problem but don't know if there is anyway of finding this out. Can anyone else help?
Stick in there. Don't feel alone. Join one of the threads for your next attempt, everyone is so supportive.

Hi Stressball...i completely understand how you feel...so hugs for you.. we had 3 blasts transferred and got nothing from it.
The good news is FET can be so much better than fresh for some, it's easier on the body (not so many hormones) and they can time it much better so that when your embies are ready so is your lining i will cross everything i read soon of your big baby belly...keep the faith it really can work

I just wanted to tell you of my story to maybe give you some hope.
We ttc for 5 years. In 2003 I was diagnosed with severe Endo, Fibroids and ovarian cysts. Consultant said one of the worst cases he'd seen in over 20 years practising. After 4 surgeries and other invasive treatment we started IVF. First round 2 eggs, both fertilised and were transferred, but BFN. Second round only 3 eggs, 2 of which were mature and fertilised but were slow to cleave, I thought all hope was lost but hey presto, BFP!
Hang in there. IVF can be a LONG road. We all completely understand the desire to have children, and the guilt which can come with being diagnosed with a medical condition, but have faith and keep trying if you can. Hopefully your dream will be realised one day.
Good luck

Hi Stressball, Please keep the faith, we all think our first go will work and its ashock when it doesn't but if we look at the stats the chances are slim. The good news is you got good grade embies and were able to freeze some. As aunty said FET's are a doddle much easier on the body and a lot less stressful, i have done 2 and had bFP's from both, unfortunately they did not continue and i am currently awaiting further test results to see if i have a problem. good luck with your fet and keep the faith.

Thank you all.....my story has one more twist. All my family members are dealing with one big problem in their lives just like I have one of infertility and for some reason they beleive that if I GET PREG then even their problems will strart to resolve....weird isn't it????? I lost my father recently that was the biggest blow to my family...Anyways Thanks again...
