good morning ladies, well thank you for the encouraging words i really needed that, i woke up this morning and cried my eyes out because i feel great yeah i cried cause i feel good horomones are crazy, i woke up and theres no more cramping no more bloating nothing i feel good so i hope thats a good sign that one of my lil embies have settled in and made themsevs comfy. dh still wont let me go to the store so still no hpt for me lol. this 2ww is horrible. i think your right i think ill feel better once im out of bed which is TOMORROW!!! woohoo haha anyway

I went today for bw and us. I only have 4 follicles that are the right size, and one that may catch up by Wed. I am triggering tonight and doing my ER on Wed. I'm not feeling very optimistic. The ivf coordinator even asked me if anyone had spoke to me about converting to an IUI cycle, since there were only four. I've had an IUI three times. We were already going to have to do ICSI, I'm not sure how doing in IUI would help. It is hard to stay positive when your nurse has you evaluating your options.

Ladies, Finally I am triggering tonight

The E2 levels dropped to 3600 today so that was good. I am getting nervous as to how many they'll be able to retrive....Oh God tension at every step of this process....

Brandi - I hope this 2ww will be like a breeze, but I know its more worse than the first 2 weeks of stimming, hang in there, be posiitive, U'll get the BFP deserved.... As I said I am very nervous for ER on Wednesday, keeping my fingers crossed.

Laurie - Congrats on ur 12 eggs

Hope u get a great fert report... Like u my final scan showed my biggest follies at 18mm. Still now I dont have a count exactly how many are there, the RE says there r a good number so lets see.

Rockrat - Dont be deprressed, lets hope these little fighters will take & u get a BFP

Mulligan - 11 embies is great....Good to know that u r having good embies...the wait is all worth it, hang in there.
Yday my E2 hit 7000 something & today dropped to 3600 something, ER would be wed AM..

Kerri- The Dr. must have thought 4-5 was enough to go ahead, right? Don't worry- there's nothing you can do, so just hope for the best. If you go in for BW tomorrow, why don't you just double check with your DR.- it might make you feel better. Keep us posted on your progress. You, Mybaby, and I are all doing ER on Wed!!!

BrandiWhy were you on bedrest so long? Was something wrong, or does your practice just believe in an extended bedrest?

jeneden, no there was nothing wrong they just believe in extended bedrest and i was really bloated and sore so that was a good thing.
mybaby, you'll do great in retrieval. i was nervous too but got through a ok, im sure u will be too and thanks for the pos thoughts.
ladies m glad to hear everyone is doin so well
everyone good lick on retrievals and tranfer come join me in the 2ww madness lol.

Good luck Kerri and Jen on your triggers! And good luck everyone else too. Sorry I'm feeling down and not so much like posting. Dr. said he's seen plenty of pgs with 8 cell, grade 2; the 5 cell was avg, but the 4 cell was poor, with little chance of sticking. I'm trying to keep the faith...that my embies are in my uterus where they belong and hopefully one will make a home there.

Hello All

Well its 12.00(midday) and i have just spoke to the cliic, out of the 12 eggs collected yesterday 9 have fertilised

.
The embryologists at the London Fertility Clinic dont grade the embies untill day 3(thursday).

I have to call the clinic tomorrow to get a transfer time for thurday, then call again thurday morning to see if theres a chance they might go to a day 5 transfer(blastocyst) which would then take place on saturday.

Feeling a bit better today, tummys still quite swollen, so wearing on of dh t shirts and chilling while hes at work

The bleedings pretty much stopped, just a little now and then,but only ever so slightly.

So hows everyone else doing?

Well, I'm officially on the dreaded 2ww. My appt. for pregancy bw is on July 6 so it's actually a 11 day wait! Everything went really well this morning. The dr. didn't think that it could have gone any better. The 2 embryos that they put in were "star quality" so I'm very excited about that. They froze 6 more of equal qualilty so that was good news too. The dr. gave me a 60-70% chance of pregnancy so that was encouraging. I'm on one of those people who falls into very small percentages, so the 30-40% failure rate still scares me to death. Nothing to do now, but wait and see what happens. I'm in bed today and tomorrow and then I'm allowed to get up and move to couch rest for a day or two. So far, not so bad.

I hope I get that lucky- my ER is tomorrow- I'm excited, but really worried about the PIO shots to follow on Thursday. I am also eating the house down today- anyone else have an insatiable appetitie before ER?

just joined this site today. So happy to find something in English! I'm an American living in Germany. We are in the midst of our 2nd IVF/ICSI attempt at a clinic in Austria.
Our egg retrieval happened on Monday (25.06). 12 eggs were retrieved. Twice as many as in our first try (only 1 made it to the transfer stage, but ended in a BFN) -- Hopefully 12 will be a lucky number...
Have to call the clinic again on Thursday to get date/time of transfer. Could be Thursday, could be Saturday.
Didn't get any information about how many of the eggs were actually fertilized. Is that typical? Of course, I took that to be a bad sign and have been quite down -

We haven't mentioned this attempt to any family or friends, so I'm looking to reach out to others for moral support.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Welcome Amy! I have my ER tomorrow- I have 12 follicles and am hoping that they are able to get most of them. At my clinic, they will call me on Thursday to tell me how many fertilized. I would call tomorrow and ask. Good Luck on transfer!!

Amy - welcome to the thread. Maybe your clinic was busy at the time and overlooked telling you how many fertilized. I would call and check on them 12 eggs to start with is very good.

mulligan - having "star quality embies" is always a good sign. I hope your 2ww goes by quickly for you.

laurie - having 9 embies is great, I know you can't wait to hear how they are getting along.

elvisbaby - haven't heard from you, did you have your ER today? Hope things are going well.

Jen and mybaby - good luck with your ER tomorrow. Are ya'll having 3 or 5 day transfers?

To all those on their 2ww - Is the 2ww any worse than all the waiting you've been doing up till now? I feel like I've been on a 2ww for about a month. I wouldn't be suprised if we all didn't have ulcers before this is over with! LOL I wish you all the best.

I'm moving ahead with my ER tomorrow at 8:30. I met with my nurse today and talked about my 4 follicles. She said the dr. was ok going ahead with ivf if that is what I was wanting to do. My clinic usually tries to go ahead with a 5 day transfer, but she told me that when numbers are low, that a lot of times they do 3 day transfers. I asked if they had any idea why my numbers were low. She said my dr. thought that my endo was bad enough that it was affecting my ovaries, and that if there had to be a next time, that they would put me on a micro dose of lupron, because I may have been too suppressed. I keep telling myself that all it takes is one, and try to feel better about it. Anyway, enough of my rambling.
