Aha! You are so right! Brilliant - I get it now.

(For a minute I thought he was saying "you sistas of the blue stilletos have got no chance, and will need a scientific breakthrough" but knowing Ghost, he would never be so mean!!! Right Ghost? Think I read somewhere he was going on his hols so he might not even read this.

Ha ha - that has given me chuckle - can't belive I was so dense. Well done on your interpretation Fee.

See what all you US sistas miss when you are asleep!

Oh yes, I was sleeping away and missed all the fun

Just for the record, though... I don't actually think all you girls will get preg and leave me (Well, I do believe the everyone getting preg part-- me included  ). 'cuz if you all leave you can be d*mn sure sassy will hunt you down and throw you a baby shower  . But in the middle of my self-pity party, I was sure being alone on the stilettos thread would make me the self-pity queen. And really.... what more could a person want out of life?
Fee: quiet w/e for the office. We'll see what happens on Friday once they all get plastered. Being as you will be sober, take good notes!!

Angie: Ooooo, you are getting close! I second the idea of taking a day off. I mean, why the hell not? You can do a bit of pampering (or just watch daytime TV)... and then surprise dh with the good news.

Robbo: how are you today?

Hope everyone had a great w/e. dh and I had a nice relaxing day yesterday. I made Pasta fagioli and watched an IndyCar race... a perfect day!

Morning Sistas!

All PUPO's- how's it going are you hanging in there? Robbo- I saw you took an evil HPT. I'm sorry it came back Neg. but wait for bloods please!! Maybe you just have a late bloomer!

I'm glad everyone had a good weekend.

Fee- I hope your humor is back and you have put the boxing gloves away!

I had my concert this weekend with my boyfriend John Mayer! It was great! It was outside in a pavillion and it rained all day, but stopped just in time for us to take our seats. There was even a nice breeze. Other than that I got nothing done this weekend. I am having a hard time staying awake. I slept all day yesterday. Now I am sick to my stomach. Ultrasound tomorrow. gotta go!

Happy Monday!
Jenn

Sorry if my joke was a little vague.

My gender is famous for many things. Strength, stubbornness, impatience, not asking for directions, not reading the directions, not following the directions, etc. But not for pregnancy.

My "holidays" start early tomorrow AM. We call it a "vacation", in this case wrapped around a business trip.

Wishing all of you well.

PS: I left this board last year. I'm not really here. This is just the ghost of The Ghost haunting the board and checking in on all of you now and then.

Aha! The Ghost of Ghost! It all makes sense now! Have a great holiday and thanks for the laugh! 8)

WOW! My sista's were busy this weekend!!! We had the weekend from H.E.L.L - I'll get to thank later, first does anyone know where Wanna is??? I feel like I need to send out the hounds!

Robbo - Step away from the HPT, slow and back... those things are EVIL  you did test a weeeeee bit early, and they have been known to be wrong - I know it feels a bit devestating, but don't you worry - it's not over until I sing!!!! Got it!

Jenn- Hooray for U/S tomorrow!!! And Hooray for your weekend with your BoyFriend, I am totally jealous, I love JM! His voice is just hypnotic for me! I hope your nasuea gets better, don't over exhurt yourself!

Sassy - Don't you worry, you and I are in this for the long haul! We might be the last two non mommy (or mummy) in this group, but I'll be with ya! Don't you worry your Sassy little heart! We can group pity party!

Fee- I can't wait to hear more on the gossip, is he ending it, or is she - has she had enough with his private time? I love this - it's so Soap Oprahy! I am keeping your MIL and FIL in my prayers, this has to be hard for all of you - but I am praying for you all!!!

Angie - You are being so strong, just keep up the zen'ness - relax and remember you ARE pregnant until proven otherwise! What happened with DH to leave your perfect Zen state? And I heart you for taking the extra day! Baby steps chick-a-dee, take it one day at a time!

Vicky- A weekend full of babies, huh! Maybe that's good karma? How are you feeling? I know it's gonna be hard, but you only have 4 more days left!!! Just remember how awful that HPT is... and you don't want to do that to yourself - relish in the fact that you are Pregnant until Proven otherwize!!!! You can do it, just take it one day at a time!

I know I missed stuff, and I am sorry!!! On to our weekend... so Friday I had one of my friends a florist come over to network a bit and get some ideas on growing my company, that was nice - and then Saturday DH and I were heading down to Daytona to see his mother who was visiting her sister. (DH's Aunt) So we were supposed to leave at 11AM, DH and I woke up at 7:30 and he mowed the lawn and edged and stuff, the lawn just grows so fast in the summer, and I vacuumed and cleaned the floors – my mom is coming to visit this weekend, so I had to get a head start. DH finishes after 11AM – so we hurry up and shower and get ready to go, it’s about 11:40 and I call over to the Aunt’s house to let them know we are running late, but headed out now – the uncle tells me that there’s a change of plans and we are having dinner in, instead of going out to THE CLUB (which we’d need to wear dress clothes for) so DH and I hurry up and change, because we already had our dress clothes on, and didn’t want to drive 2 hours in them if we didn’t have to. So we change, gather the dog up, and all hop in DH’s car, and start on our way – about 15 minutes into the drive Whiskey (the dog) has the worst gas ever – I thought his butt was leaking it was so bad! So we stop to walk him, this happened 4 times! About an hour into the drive, I am STARVING out of my mind hungry…. So in the middle of no where I make DH stop and grab me some food. He was very nice about it, but you could tell he was frustrated – we usually never stop! Then when we are 20 minutes from the Aunt’s house – DH’s mother called and she was drunk and wanted us to stop and grab her some beer – yet another stop… DH was starting to get a weeee bit more frustrated… but he stopped none-the-less… we finally get there, I walk the dog someone and still no poop! DH gets into the house tells a very comical rendition of his frustration, his mother doesn’t find it the least bit funny – in fact she was offended that DH wasn’t happier to see her. Then she poured herself another shot. (nice!)

So DH and decided that since the Aunt and Mother were to be together we’d get everyone on the same page with IF thing – so DH said about 45 minutes after we arrived and the pleasantries were done, okay so “Mom and Aunt Michelle – Melissa and I wanted to make sure everyone knew what was going on with us, and a baby, and blah, blah, blah – give us a year, and we’ll probably try again – and this way neither of you will bug us about having a baby, and, etc. etc” so Mom blurts out – I DON’T BUG YOU – and Aunt Michelle said, oh we understand… then mom poured herself another drink.

Then we brought up getting a puppy – and Mom said, DO YOU REALLY NEED THAT IN YOUR LIFE and she poured herself another drink.

Then we brought up going to Ireland – she told us we were being ridiculous and frivolous – and she poured herself another drink.

Then she took a nap!

Then during dinner we brought up my mother coming to visit next weekend for two days, she got utterly jealous, and poured herself another drink!

Then she woke up in a pissy mood, and gave us attitude about everything! And when it was finally time to leave, she said “Bye John” and went to bed!

It was crazy, terrible! And now I have to deal with my sun-shiney of a mother this weekend! Hooray!

Oh Melissa, your weeked sounded a little hellish. I am so sorry. In laws can always be so....hmm...what word am I looking for?

Well ladies- I just got off the phone with the clinic. They too told me that I had tested way too early. they said really I shouldn't have tested at all, that the 27th will be the earliest that it will be detected. However, when I explained my pain in my shoulder (endo) and my cramping, they said I probably wasn't pregnant, but to wait until Wednesday. They are going to remain hopeful though.
I did do a HPT again this morning (did I not learn from the first one) and again it was negative  when will I learn/

I will do personals later...I am extremely drained, and going to take a LONG nap.

Robbo! What is up with your clinic! That cramping can be all sorts of things!!! It can doesn't have to be endo cramping - I think you are still PUPO! Remain postive darling, and stay away from the HPT until the 27th OKAY!

And I just found out that the other two baby girls in our liter of puppies have been spoken for, so we have our Bellini chosen for us!

Is it Margarita Monday?????? :?

Oh Mel, that sounds like the MIL from hell you have there. What a stressful day - hope your doggie's gas is better too - you post made me laugh!

OK - it's getting a bit stressful now - had cramping last night for a couple of hours but it's worn off now. Plus a tiny bit of brownish spotting. Was thinking here we go again - all over on about Day 11 of the 2ww but I'm hanging in there - wish me luck...

Robbo - we're in the same position. I'm going to try not to do HPT but wanted to last night to put me out of my misery. Vicky - how you doing sista?

Hi Girls......

Mel....OMG, I wouldn't wish your MIL not even to my worst enemy!!!!! , she is from another planet!!!!. Hope w/e with your mom goes much better than that!!!

Ange....c'mon sista, hang in there, brownish means nothing, you know that, not until we see the furious red with clots and evertying we are still PUPO!!!!!. Keep the zennes!!. I am haning in there...........getting more anxious by the minute, this last week is going to take for-e-ver!!!!!!.

Robbo......don't lose faith, there is still hope, you have 2 more days to go right??, you test on the 27th??. I hate it when the clinics give you those poor answers, like they know just by some symptoms what is going to happen, you have read as much as I did what a big spectrum of symptoms everybody have in their 2ww, so it means nothing at all!!!

Jenn.....good luck tomorrow in your u/s, keep us posted!!!!!

Sassy....nobody is leaving anybody here, that is what we are sistas for, preggo or not preggo we will all stick here!!!!!! , so find pitifullness somewhere else  , cuz we are staying!!!!!!!

Well, with DH we decided not to HPT this time, we are trying to do something different than the prior times, to see if that makes the trick  . It is awful, I already started with the looking at the toilet paper thing everytime I go, that sucks!!!!!!!. Hope you are all doing great!!!

Mel: ummm. don't even know what to say about your MIL! Sounds like a pleasant  visit... very productive. I imagine you are SOOO glad you endured a dog fart-filled drive all the way there and back. Is she always like this or is this unusual??? And the new puppy... does that mean you get one of the girls, you just don't get to choose which one of the litter she is? Still good news, no?

Vicky: good to hear from you. glad you are doing well... only a few more days!

Also to the other PUPOs... I know this is the worst part. Every hour that goes by is one hour closer to "knowing". Hang in there. Thinking of you all.

Oh Lordy ladies... get this... I have hope. Yep, I know... stop the presses! But I just found out my clinic's success rate on my new protocol is fabulous. Makes me want to run to the clinic tomorrow morning, jump in the stirrups and grab that wascally little camera myself. Bring it on!

OK Same old story, Car Pooling buddy champing at the bit to get going...so I'll have to be quick!

Have a great holiday Ghost of Ghost, glad we cleared all of that up...

Jenn Good luck with ultrasound tomorrow, look forward to hearing your news. Oh, and you may be doing a lot of sleeping for the next few weeks. I was knackered from about week 7 - 12, really really knackered! Glad you hear you enjoyed your boyfriend, he was recently in Perth but I didn't go...

Mel, rollicking good story, I loved it, had a good laugh at that one....Really a crap day all round for you but certainly pretty funny for the rest of us. Hope you don't have to see MIL too much!

Robbo, glad to hear that clinic told you it was way to early...I'm still crossing everything for you. Hope you had a damned good sleep!

Angie how are you going? Hope that spotting was nothing. God I hate the second week, hope you are bearing up well under the pressure.

Vicky, hate that staring at the toilet paper thing, it drives you nuts. I still do it, it sucks. Hope you can relax although I know how hard it is...

Sass! That's fantastic news. What exactly is your new protocol (aside from the mega cycle aspect) I'm glad you've found a reason to be leaping into the stirrups again. And a renewed passion for the dildo cam..

OK there are far to many sisters MIA for my liking, I think we need a roll call.

Noggin update. Had a check up today. Noggin is looking good. Had a bit of sugar in my wee so have to be on the look out for diabetes. Placenta is low lying so may have to be a caesarean. I really don't care as long as I get one healthy baby out of all of this I will be a happy camper!

Have to run!! FEe

Good Morning, my darlings!

Fee- I am so glad that Noggin is doing well! And if a C-Section is what is needed, than so be it! At least that can be scheduled :D You know me, I am a planner! I am glad my day gave you a good laugh - at least it was good for someone! Gosh, she's a piece of work, huh! And now watch, when we finally do hear from her again, she'll want DH to appologize to her!!!! Grrrrrr!

Jenn- Hooray for your U/S today!!!! Can't wait to hear!!!!

Angie- I don't love to hear about the spotting, but you know as well as I do that brownish spots are nothing to be worried about, its' the red we all fear, so deep breaths and just keep an eye on the wiping!

Vicky - Remember, baby steps, baby steps, baby steps, one pee at a time, one day at a time, and soon enough it will be test day! I totally respect your and DH's decision to not HPT, I think that's a good idea, as Robbo found out - you just never know! And all too many times it comes back negitive fasley! So stick it to the HPT! I think we should make signs and march outside iwth our signs like protestors, Stick it to the Stick! :?

Sassy- Let me know if you are going to make the pie, I'd love to hear how it comes out, and remember although making pie crusts isn't super fun, and it's easier to buy one... this crust seriously makes the pie!!! I am excited about the new protocols!!! You might be having a little girl wear that dress soon enough!!! Oh and my MIL, she's a piece of work, but she's usually a happier person than, that - I don't know what got up her rear end! For the puppy - you hit the nail on the nose... we still get a girl out of that liter, but we dont' get to choose... the decision was made for us. Which is fine, but DH and I are all about the personality of the dog, so we sort of wanted to choose... but that's okay...

So the puppy lady called me yesterday to let me know that we don't get too choose...but then she told me a story that OUR puppy dug out a wee whole in her trailor and got underneath the trailor and got into the insullation of the trailor and it took her 3 hours to get her back... yup, she's trouble already! NICE! (Oh and story was told in the most southern-red-necky accent EVER! :?

Well that's it for now... Kisses and Hugs to our PUPO's!!!!

XXOO!

Mel
xxoo

Where's Wanna? I hope she's okay! Has anyone heard from her? :?:

Hey girls-

OOH Mel- sounds like you have a puppy that likes the mischief!! We picked the puppy that was laid out in the back of the pen looking at us like she didn't have a care in the world. Her sister was jumping all over me and chewing my shirt! We took one look at Shelby and said we'll take that one! She is still laid back. It will be fun to have a puppy always into things, hide your slippers!

Vicky- you are sooo strong, and so right to stay away from the evil HPT. Wish I would have done it. Even when it comes up + you still wonder, so it is best to wait for bloods.

Angie- I agree with Mel- brown ok; red not so good. Hang in there. One day at a time. Is the house keeping your mind off of it?

Fee- so glad that noggin is doing well! As for a C- section as long as noggin comes out ok, we don't care how he comes out! I'm sorry your carpool buddy is rushing you lately. Have you tried giving her "the look"? I am a teacher and my DH says I have a "teacher look" that I give him. It backs people down in seconds flat! Just a suggestion!

Sassy- I am glad to hear that your clinic does well with your protocol. Also glad you are ready to jump back into the stirrups. Take it slow, don't want to throw your back out or anything!

Meg- how's it going? haven't heard much lately.

As for the other MISSING sistas. Where are you? Hope you are ok...

U/S was today. Saw heartbeat. That was about it. It was early and I didn't feel good so I was ready to get home and back to bed! I got to call my regular ob/gyn, that was exciting. I see her on July 10th. By then I will be almost done with my RE. Oh- the baby was measuring 7 weeks and I am supposed to be 7w3d. They said as long as I am within 5 days it is normal, but I don't like it. That's all. I'll be back later!

Jenn: Fab news on the US! I imagine seeing the heart beat is reassuring. As for the size thing-- couldn't that vary a few days based on implantation? I hope you don't worry about it much.

Fee: Glad to hear Noggin is behaving him/herself. Wait. Do we know Noggin's gender and I am just having a hormonal brain fart???? Either way... I agree. Csection if needed.... just as long as Noggin gets here I will be happy (which, I imagine, is all that really matters... that I am happy  ).

Mel: oooo, sounds like you have a feisty one on your hands! You might as well just buy yourself a new pair of slippers now  . At least you know she's got loads of personality. When do you get her? I would be so excited!

Another shout out to the PUPOs...
