Hi,
I am 32 and my DH is 36, ttc since 2004. I did 5 IUIS bfn. I got laproscopy done in Nov 06 to find mild stage 2 endo. My DH sperm count and motility on low side but not as severe as to do ICSI. The RE was not sure if we would need ICSI for our first IVF in June but eventually we did not need it. During my ER 10 eggs were retrievd and 8 fertilized. Two blastocyst were put in and got BFN. Two blastocyst were frozen in the whole process.
My questions are
1. Does anybody have a similar case and still got bfp.
2. Does this look like an impantation issue
3. Do you think I hav any hope from FET.
I am feeling very hopeless and cannot bear the thought that my DH would never be a daddy. He just adores kids. His love for his brothers and sister's kids makes me very sad. I live very far away from my family so nobody to support. Please any information would be greatly appreciated.

i have had stage four endo for well... almost as long as i have been menustrating. Anyway, i have one eight year old that was concieved naturally ( and unexpectedly LOL) after surgery and treatment of the endo. endo came back very quickly , two more surgeries...... no babies. dh and i just finished first complete ivf cycle and got a bfp today. ( had a cancelled cycle before in nov/dec. It looks like the success rates go up everyday! and the blastocyct transfer gives you the highest success rate of all. so keep the faith! My doc cautioned me that two or three cycles were the norm. ivf was developed for people with problems just like yours and mine so just keep believeing it will work.

Hi Stressball,
I've been meaning to post & say how much I love your screen name. It perfectly describes this whole awful infertility "journey." I'm 38 and will be having a FET next month. I'm hopeful. It seems that being younger can only help. Hopefully, we'll both get BFP's this time. Hang in there.
Stressball, I'm sorry you are going through this. I was there 7-8 months ago. I had a slight nervous breakdown, was screaming "I'll never do this (IVF) again". Then I did my 2nd FET and became Pg with twin boys! I'm now 6 months PG and the babies are doing well. I can't wait for their arrival. FET has worked for many people, sometimes much better than fresh transfers. Hang in there and stay positive, it can happen.
stressball, i am going to tell you something NO ONE in this room has EVER heard... "Dont think about it and it will just happen" or my favorite, "just have a bottle of wine and everything will be fine" i remember those days I am a husband 34, my wife is 33, my wife has gone through alot of what your going through... We have 10 nieces and nephews between us and she sees how much I love kids...
We did, I dont remember how many clomid cycles, then IUI's then the laparoscopy for the endo and this was our third and final ICSI cycle...
I am far from an expert on this but my wife is now pregos and we are awaiting our sonogram...I will tell you the two things we did different with this which you may try with your frozen (which thank your higher power you have that opportunity, we never have) is we went to see a couples counselor to deal with the anxiety and our approach to the results, that helped wonders, especially our marriage (5 years this year) and she also went to see an Accupuncturist, a real one trained in Asia, the ones trained here in the states is not the same) I am convinced the accupuncture is what did it not to mention the lowering of the anxiety levels...
Please look into the therapy and accupuncture it really really helps, especially the asian vitamins and certain diet tha helps
The other thing that helped for us which is not your case, is that when we decided to do the third, we switched doctors. A whole new set of faces hepls a great deal. After a while, although we liked our first doctor, it felt like we were conditioned to fail.
I wish you and your husband all the best....be strong you will get through this
Hi qbndaddy,
I really really appreciate your respons. In fact I just made my husband read this email. I have done accupunture for 3 times last year and 1 just before the transfer. I will be more aggresive this time for my FET. Now about the marriage, you are so right. This whole infertility takes a toll on marriage. For the past 5 years I had been very stressed out more due to my father's illness than infertility and the only vent out was fighting with my husband. Gosh it took me some time to understand the whole stress game. My dad passed away without seeing my baby but I guess I am dealing with this better than I did before. To make the story short, I have learned the role of stress in infertility.
Thanks a lot again. I wish I would have found you before.
God bless,
Sanya
