Kerri- Good Luck tomorrow. You never know- all four could fertilize and be all grade 1. Then you'll have plenty to choose from.. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Keep the faith!!
Amy- Where in the states are you from? Why are you in Germany?
I'm a native Californian who grew up in NY. My husband is German, so I moved here. Our corner of Germany is quite beautiful. It's been quite a wonderful adventure to live in a foreign country!
Kerri, interesting about what your dr said about your endo affecting your ovaries. I have an endometrioma on each ovary and I wonder if it hindered my follies from growing (they only ultimately retreived 5 eggs).
The two week wait is killing me already...I'm mostly upset because I feel that this just didn't work and I'm mad at the world right now!! I hate that I have to wait until 7/7 to know for sure.
rockrat, iknow how you feel im feelin the same way, i woke up yesterday crying my eyes out cause i feel normal i had cramps for 3 days after transfer and now feel great. a lil tired but great so i have convinced myself that it failed....but hang in there ok and try to think pos... so when do you test? i test next mon 6 days from now and it seems like forever. but hope your fellin well and good luck to all us 2wwers!!

Goodmorning all
How are you all today?
Im feeling a little better, but my tummy is still swollen! is that normal? Welcome Amy
I too had my ER on Monday and like you they recieved 12 eggs!! 9 of which fertilised,so im quite happy with that, will find out later weather there doing transfer tomorrow(thursday) or a day 5 transfer(sat).
Do you know how many of yours fertilised yet? when are you having you transfer?
I had ER on Monday, they retrieved 15 eggs, 9 mature and 5 fertilized. My ET is scheduled for tomorrow at 1:30 and I have to decide whether to put 2 or 3 embies back. I'm a little stressed with this decision and not sure what to do.
Laurie - Bloating is normal. I have the same thing.
Amy - Welcome to the board. 12 is an excellent number! We did tell some family and very few close friends. I was much more private on my first attempt.
Good luck to those having retrieval tomorrow!

Hi all, sorry been so long since a post, but I was in bed and away from my computer.
ER was on Monday. The hospital experience was not a very good one. They were running late to get me in. It is such a complicated story that it is no fun. I was in quite a bit of pain until yesturday evening. They retrieved 6 eggs. I was kind of upset, but what could I do.
I got a call from the doc yesterday and he said that all 6 fertilized. GREAT!
That is promising. We are going for transfer on Thursday. I will here today as to what time.
I know that I will be silent for a while, but I am sending you all good thoughts. Sticky feelings to everyone.

Hey Everyone- I just got back from my ER. I feel pretty good, but, like Rockrat, I am disappointed in the eggs retrieved. They only got 6 out of 12 follicles. I was really hoping for 9- I guess that is the number that was in my head. I'll just have to hope that most of them are mature and fertilize. It didn't help that my DH and I heard two others next to us who had each gotten 16. Oh well......
goodmoring ladies, sorry i havent reyplied much just been kinda down, i just feel too normal and then to top it off this morning i noticed the breast tenderness is gone...sorry f thats tmi...i just feel too normal this 2ww sucks and it seems as though mon is nt coming quick enough. but congrats to everyone who just went through transfer!!!

Hello and thanks for the warm welcome!
Want to wish everyone all the best for their retrievals and transfers this week!
I have to call the clinic on Thursday to find out how things are going -- and to determine if we go in Thursday or Saturday for the transfer. Have no idea how many of our 12 eggs were fertilized - but I'll find out tomorrow. I saw my Gyno on the street this afternoon who gave me a big hug and wished me lots of luck and told me she hoped to see me pregnant in about 2 weeks time -- that was so nice of her!
After a down day yesterday, I'm feeling most positive and optimistic again...Hope to send those good feelings out to everyone!
does anyone know why they do a day 3 or a day 5 transfer, but not a day 4 transfer?
carebear - keep the faith - you're more than halfway through the 2ww!
jeneden - I know it's hard to be positive when they said 6 and you wanted to hear 9. But, 6 is also a nice number! In the end, it only takes one good one and that is what you have to believe in.
Wow...this is a fast moving board ! I see now that I should check in every day or every other day because so much has happened. I'm going to catch up on the posts!
