Hi Maggie, thank you for replying - I was wondering how things had went for you and I am delighted to hear your news.

My 3 are now 11 weeks and still not sleeping all night - well one is - how are your two doing?? What weight were they??

Hope you enjoyed your night out - I have been out twice and I had a blast!!

Kate
Hi Kate,

What lovely names. You must be so proud of your little girls and you did so well to go to 37 weeks. You must have been huge, I know I was.

I heard a rule of 12lbs or 12 weeks for babies to sleep through the night so a full nights sleep is hopefully just around the corner for you.

You are amazing being able to cope with 3 babies. Looking after my twins isn't as hard as I anticipated but it is still hard work.

Mine were born on March 19th. Travis was 5lb 14oz and Madison a whopping 7lb 4oz. They were born 3.5 weeks early. I had to have an emergency c-section after my waters broke at 4 in the morning because Travis (first twin) was breech.

My night out was lovely, thanks for asking. I drank quite alot that night but still felt sober at the end, probably because I knew that I had two lovely babies to come home to.

Well, better go and get some sleep.

We should try to keep in touch and compare notes.

Take care,

Maggie.xx
Hi MAGGIE, CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR TWINS - GREAT WEIGHTS!

2 OF MY 3 ARE NOW SLEEPING THROUGH TO ABOUT 7 OR 8AM, BUT KATIE LIKES BEING UP AROUND 5AM, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE ALL SO PLEASANT WHEN THEY ARE UP!!

THEY ARE ALL VERY GOOD, EXCEPT FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS IN THE EVENING WHEN THEY ALL GET VERY CROSS - I GUESS WE ALL GET CROSS AT SOME STAGE DURING THE DAY!! IT IS HARD WORK, BUT NOT AS HARD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE - I THINK I AM VERY LUCKY BECAUSE THEY ALL SEEM VERY CONTENT(AT THE MOMENT). I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THWY REACT TO EACH OTHER WHEN THEY ARE A BIT OLDER. I KNOW THAT IT MIGHT GET MORE DIFFICULT, BUT THE GOOD TIMES DEFINATELY OUTWEIGH THE BAD - 3 LOTS OF SMILES!!

HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE ALL KEEPING WELL !!

KATE
Hi Kate,

I know what you mean about their grizzly time. My two are the same in the evening but I've discovered that if I let them watch baby mozart (a dvd for babies which they love) they are not so bad.

Travis and Madison have started noticing eachother now and it's so sweet, They sometimes smile at eachother and have held hands when in their pushchair too. I dont know if the hand holding is just coincidence but it was very sweet anyway.

better go, it's feedtime again.

take care,

maggie
