Hi Ladies,
I started the Lupron yesterday. Is there a difference between the estrogen patches and the estrogen pill? This time I am taking the pills.

I didnt get needs to go along with the progesterone IM. What kind of needles have you all used?

Daly, did you have your second beta yet?

How is everyone else?

Hey Donna, Regarding the the estrogen pills/patch; My new RE prefers the pills and that is what I did this time. (so far so good) My estrogen level was really good at 515! Much higher then any previous time. The studies really show that estrogen is good after transfer even though lab levels look OK. I'm glad your RE is putting you on it :D

Vicki - Your bfp is next! ONly 2 more nights!

Susan - How is your FET going?

Charlie - I'm so glad the lupron isn't too hard on you. You're getting close to stimming again. I'm sending you tons of babydust.

Christine - I hope you and your family are doing as well as possible after your tremendous loss. How is baby?

I got the second beta - 186!! So I'm doubling every 34 hours which is great. I'm trying to feel a bit pregnant and relax until the scan. Thank you all for your wonderful congrats! It doesn't feel real.

Daly - CONGRATS to YOU and DH!!! What wonderful results!! Wishing you the very best pregnancy ever!

Donna - I had good luck with both IVF pregnancies with the Estrogen Pills. I stayed on them until 8 weeks into my pregnancies and the Progesterone until 10 weeks. We used the 1 1/2" needles for the IM Prog then got onto pills at 6 weeks. Best of luck to you!

Vicki - Best Wishes for a Wonderful BFP!!!! Can't wait to hear your news!!

Susan - Hope your preparation for your next FET is going well. Looking forward to your good news as well!

Charlie - Best wishes to you for an easy stimming time! Wishing you the best of luck for success as well!

A big thanks to all of you lovely ladies for your kind sentiments and thoughtful wishes. We're trying to adjust to our new situation but it isn't easy. My mom and I miss my Dad so much and the hurt is so fresh. But our DD and our new baby are helping us get through this. I see my OB on July 9 for my 2nd prenatal checkup so it will be nice to hear the heartbeat again. The baby measured 1 week ahead of schedule on our Ultrasound so I will chat with my OB about this and if it will change my estimated due date.

Take Care Ladies! So happy everyone seems to be doing well. Much Baby Dust to all of you!

Love,
Christine

Hi Ladies,

Susan - Good luck in getting your lining just perfect for your ET! You are almost there! Wishing you so many blessings for success! And thank you for your support and thoughts. I'm definitely having a hard time with this at times but the many good times I had with my Dad are helping me get through it. And yes I do have a bit of expansion going on:) I go on July 9th for my second OB checkup and we'll see how I'm measuring.

We had a busy family day today. One of DH's cousins is a Commander of a Naval Destroyer Ship that is in Boston until July 5th. He invited us on a tour and for breakfast on the ship today. It turns out there were at least 40 of us. It was pretty cool to see all the technology and to learn what role they play in protecting our country. Afterwards my mother-in-law had a big cookout which was a blast. All of the cousins our age and all the little cousins were so fun! They absolutely adored our DD. She is the youngest of the second cousins and so will this baby we are carrying. They all travelled from North Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut and NH. We had a great day.

I hope you are all doing well. Looking forward to further updates. Take Care!

Love,
Christine

Hey ladies,

Donna Good luck with your upcoming cycle. I know you'll do great. How did your bloodwork go?

Susan - I think you may be transferring today or yesterday? Senidng you all the sticky vibes I can find and stealing a few more! Let us know how you are!

Charlie - You're cycle is going to be here before we know it. I think of you so often.

Christine - I hope you and your family are healing as much as one can after the death of a loved one. Sounds like you have quite a special family.

Well I have good news! We saw a heartbeat and may have a second! So, for now it's 1 and 1/2 babies  We're cheering on the littler one as much as we can and will know next week if he/she gets to stay. Hopefully I can finally sleep after seeing the heartbeat. All the what if sure do mess with your mind!

Senidng everyone tons of babydust!

Congrats Daly!
I am so happy for you.

A heartbeat already, that is great!!! When is your next ultrasound? Did you get another HCG level?

My ET is Sunday July 29th.

Ok, Ladies,
I pulled out the needles and looked at them for the Progesterone, YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will ice cubes numbing the area make a difference? I don't have to start the Progesterone for a few weeks, but I am nervous!!!!

Evening Ladies!

Daly - OMG I can't believe it!, how exciting!!!! It must be a relief to hear the heart beat, I am cheering on your little ones! When will you have your next scan?

Donna - Good luck with ET, those progesterone shots will all be very worth it soon! LOL

Susan - how did transfer go? I hope you are resting up - keeping everything crossed for you!!!

Nothing new to report from me, except I am very bored with this diet!!! I have lost 13 and a half pound, but I just can't seem to reach my 1 stone mark! :?
I break up from work in 2 weeks and I'm sooooo looking forward to it! 6 weeks of doing nothing - what bliss! Obviously during that time I will become pregnant with my babies (got to keep up the PMA!!!!) LOL!

Need Advise!

Post by doddo72 »

I went today for the Ultrasound and we are supposed to have the Embryo Transfer July 29th.
They said my uterus lining is really thick, 21 was the number! Now they said they will call me and let me know if things get cancelled.

Have any of you heard of someone's cycle being cancelled because of this?
I am so upset!!!
My husband is changing jobs July 30th.....

I am so scared to start the Progestone Shots as well!!
We are doing assisted hatching....

I thought a thick uterus is good? My uterus is usually thick! I had AF on July 5th!

Any advise is appreciated!!!
Thanks,

Donna

Hi Donna,
I am doing FET in August as well, my trasfer day is tenatively aug 10th. Yea, they want your lining at about 10 to 12 mm , i guess thick lining is no good, i am not sure why, i have not done my research on that one, but I know from this site that a lot of cycles got canceled because of that. I hope everything will work out for you regardless though.
