Hello everyone :D
Well i called the clinic at 9am today like i was asked and was told that i was not having my transfer today but Saturday instead.
Out of my 9 Embies 8 are doing really well and are hoping to make it through to day 5(Blastocyst transfer,) so hopefully i will have some good ones to freeze.
My transfer is on Sat at 1pm, and then dh has booked me into a hotel for 3 days so i can rest properly, having our offices at homes makes thing very difficult to shut off.
Hope everyones feeling well today,Mybabyyour very quite! how are u doing?
Lots and lots of positive vibes to u all,esp those on 2ww. :)

Loads of love ladies

hi,

I also called my clinic this morning at 9am and was told my transfer would also be on Saturday at 10:30am and not today -- They expect to have 2 to transfer, and I'm very hopeful about that.

Of course, it worries me that I have to call again at 8:30 on Saturday morning just to confirm -- but, I must think positively, right?

It was a bit of a let down not to go today, after being mentally prepared for this step, but at least my husband and I got an unexpected day off today to play in the garden and enjoy each other's company.

Hope you are all having a good day -

My ER went well. I'm a little crampy. I also woke up every hour last night to pee (sorry if tmi). I am assuming that things are swollen inside and pushing on my bladder. Did anyone else have a similar experience? They got 4 eggs and told me that most likely transfer will be on Saturday due to the low number of eggs.

Jen - I glad your er went well. I think six eggs is a good number.

Mybaby - I hope your er went well.

More personals later. I'm off to an inservice.

Hey Kerri- That is sooo wierd!! I went to the bathroom 5 times last night. I drank three beers last night, as a reward for getting throught the first phase of this crazy IVF, so at first I thought that was it, but I drink three beers all the time when I'm not going through IVF, and never have to go that much at all!! Maybe you're right about the ovaries pushing on the bladder, as they felt very full/bloated last night. I guess that's good, though, because my doctor said to call if I had any trouble urinating- NO trouble there!!! HAHA!!

"so scared and so excited" -- that really describes the feeling! well said, laurie!
I like that better than -- so close, and yet so far ---

My regular doctor just called to report that my low thyroid condition is finally back in the normal range after 7 months -- so that is also great news --

hope to keep the positive thoughts going through till Saturday and beyond!

have to run and help DH move some plants around in the garden while I can still lift a few things without thinking...

will check in again later to see how everyone is doing.

Hey Melanie,
I'm "kind of" (sarcasm) frustrated right now. Dr. Toner told me yesterday that the embryologist would call by mid- morning, so of course, I've been sitting by the phone since 6:30 this morning- couldn't sleep. I just called the main number and they said he had gone to lunch. That's okay- I can see how his hunger is more important than my fertilization report- Sorry, I'm just ticked!!! I am just stuck here at home, worried to death that nothing fertilized and waiting. When did they call you? It's now 12:48 GRRRRRR!!!
How are you holding up? Are the days passing like snails? :)

I'd be so frustrated too! I'm sorry. I think he called around 10:45. Frankly I do NOT think he should've gone to lunch without making all his calls first! Grrrr!!!

Well, I got my fert. report. Only two of my four eggs fertilized. I'm trying to be ok with this. I just keep telling myself that they had planned on putting back 2 anyway. My ET is confirmed for 11:00 on Saturday, June 30. Amy and Laurie, it looks like I'll be doing the transfer thing the same day as you.

Take care,
Kerri

Wow, lots of ET's on Saturday! woo hoo! Good luck to you ALL!
I won't lie, the PIO shots are NOT remotely pleasant. I use a heating pad before and after and it seems to help, but my butt's been HURTING for days! ouch.

Hey- There are a couple of good videos on YouTube about PIO shots and there is one on IM shots- both were helpful, yet frightening!!! What time does everyone do theirs? I'm sooooooo nervous!!!! Dh will be home in about half an hour and then the fun begins...
