I just had my ER today and we only got 6 eggs out of 12 follicles. We don't know yet which, if any, are mature and/or fertilized. We will learn that tomorrow? Anyone have a success story with 6 eggs retrieved?
Hi - my first IVF I had 8 eggs, 4 fert, 2 put back and one frozen. I had twins!
THe year later my frostie didn't survive thawing.
Second IVF I had 7 eggs, 5 fert, 2 put back, but only one frozen again. Miscarried. My one frostie thawed and I had another baby.
I hope this gives you some hope.
Goodluck and remember that it really does only take one....

I was on my second cycle of icsi. They retrieved seven eggs and out of which only four fertilized and they transfered all the four and i am now pg with twins. It is not thenumber that counts . Only difference it makes is you will have some to freeze and with less number you may not. SO dont worry and stay positive.
Hi,
My 3rd IVF, I only had 3 eggs retrieved, one fertilized so one back in...now almost 6 weeks BFP (and hoping and praying it's real)... I didn't have much hope as I only had one during the 2nd IVF and it didn't work but here we are. Don't give up hope. In my experience you had a HUGE success. Take care of yourself. Kim
