Hello ladies!

As I lay here on bedrest I am finding all kinds of things to read and obsess about:) I just read through several pages of this thread so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Stacey and we are currently in the 2ww of our very first IVF cycle. It is a VERY nerve racking time!

Our ER was on 6/27-they retrieved only 5 eggs out of those 5, 3 were mature. I was so upset and worried about this. The fertilization report came in on Thursday and two had fertlized. On Friday we got the report that only one was still making it. I was so discouraged, but we were scheduled for a 3 day Saturday transfer. When we arrived I was scared to death, well low and behold our lagging embryo had caught up and we were able to transfer TWO beautiful, perfect embryos-1-10 cell and 1 8 cell! We were so excited ,and now we are just waiting not so patiently for 7/11 to find out if we were successful! I am not having too much pain or anything, just cramping from time to time. The PIO make the site sore, but other then that nothing major. My chest is sore sometimes and sometimes not. Doesn't make much sense, but hopefully all is well!!!

Thanks Jen, I'm trying to hold on to a glimmer of hope. Of course all my HPTs that I'm obsessively taking are negative. Today I am 7dp3dt. I got my bloodwork for est. and progest. on Saturday. E was 413 and P was 25 which Tammy said was right where they needed to be. Whatever that means in this whole thing! Arrggghhh!

Welcome Stacey! Where are you from? Five of us had our transfers on Sat. so you are in good company. Right now, we think we have two lucky women who might have gotten their BFP!! We are waiting anxiously for their blood results!!

Brandi-thinking of you today and can't wait to hear the results, we are in the same sort of boat, i have my b/w tomorrow, took another hpt last night and it came out positve very quickly and a dark line, I have taken four so far and they all keep getting darker:) So trying to be realistic and it still could be the meds. Welcome Stacey! As jen mentioned, lots of us had our transfers on Saturday and are now in the 2ww....wishing you all the best that the time will pass quickly!
As far as cramping goes, my doctor has me taking magnesium (in addtion to what seems like a million other things) to keep the uterus soft and supple as he says and to keep it from cramping too much. I'm still feeling cramps, but not like the first time we tried this.
the worst part is, is not knowing if these feelings I am having are "good signs" or "bad signs" or just things I am imagining...

Looking forward to hearing the news from Brandi and want to wish Lynne all the luck in the world for her test tomorrow!

Rockrat - can imagine from last time how you must be feeling these days. The date of your BT will be here soon enough - you're aleady over halfway there. HANG IN THERE!
By the way, can you please explain the meaning of 7dp3dt? thanks.

Already 2 days down and just "a few more" to get through...lol
Hope my German is getting better, because I've never read the newspaper so throughly as I have in the last two days!

I GOT THE CALL TODAY!!!!!!! ITS OFFICIAL IM PREGNANT!!!!!! my first beta was 85 so i guess thats good!! i have an apt on thurs for my second beta and we pray the numbers double!!! so good luck to everyone on the 2ww i know its hell but heres some info my nurse told me today that the hcg leaves your system after a week so if thats helpful..... omg the words i have been waiting to hear have finaly been spoken im pregnant!!!

Amy, 7dp3dt means 7 days past my 3-day embryo transfer. How are you doing in your 2ww? It's maddening!

thanks for the enlightenment --
so far, so good with the waiting - but I'm just at the beginning. I teach one class Thursday evenings, so I figure I "just" have to get through 2 classes and I'm there -- sounds so easy and do-able -- of course, easier said than done...

how have you been keeping busy not thinking about the only thing you are thinking about? lol
but seriously, any tips are appreciated!

CONGRATULATIONS BRANDI!!!! That is great!

I am dying in my 2WW. My BW is on July 9. It should be the 8th but since it is a sunday we have to do it on wednesday. I have given all my POAS to one of best friends to hold so that I won't be tempted to pee on all of them. I did POAS on Friday just for the hell of it. I know it would be negative. It was so the trigger shot is definitly out of my system.

Lately I have been feeling pretty uncomfortable. Cramping, lower backache, and the not so fun part lots of gas

I don't want to get my hopes up because I know that a lot of the symptoms are caused by the crinone.

How is everyone else making out?
