Hi, this is Lauries DH. Feeling a little out of place here so I will keep if short. Laurie is doing fine and sends her love and hugs to all, she is resting in a London Hotel (with no internet access) and due home Wednesday. she can't wait to talk.
Is there anyone not planning on POAS. I haven't decided, but I always did with my IUIs.
Welcome Stacey
Rockrat, try to remain positive.
I am having pain at the lowest part of my abdomen (right above the pelvic bone). It hurts to push on it and it also hurts when I go to the bathroom. Anyone have similar pains? I didn't know if this is a result of the PIO or something else.

Hey all,
I got my b/w done this morning so waiting for the call. I took a hpt this am and it was a nice dark positive. Still not getting my hopes up but very excited. Hope everyone is well and I will post my results sometime today, I may be away from a computer this afternoon.
Lynne...sounds like good news will be coming your way today! Congrats!!!
Jen, I did POAS this morning and still negative at 8dp3dt...not a good sign.
Oh well...I've decided to not make myself sick over this anymore. Whatever will be will be. DH will just have to sell one of his kidneys to finance another attempt if it doesn't work out this time. LOL.
hi - sorry but could someone please fill me in -- what is or what are POAS?
How is everyone doing on the 2WW? Anything you are not doing, that you always did before? -- cooking-, cleaning-, working-wise??
I wrote to my clinic and asked if there was anything I really shouldn't be doing - they wrote back saying - no jogging, no mountain climbing, no window cleaning, no squats...not things I usually do anyway - so just wondering if any of you have stopped doing anything or were advised not to do anything during this time?
just a week and 2 days to go for those of us testing on the 12th -- not too long to wait, is it? We can make it! Will try to avoid the temptation of the hpt -- but "could" try it (I think) on the 7th..lucky 7? who knows...something to think about...
have a wonderful day everyone.
take care and think positive thoughts,
Amy
I am feeling okay 3dp3dt. The little crampy twinges come and go. They are very light and don't feel like AF cramps. After reading so many other ladies posts it sounds like cramping is a good thing, so ironically enough I am a little bummed that I am hardly having any cramping. I am having hot flashes which I am sure is due to the PIO and estradiol and suppositories. I am trying to stay positive, but it is REALLY hard. I too am thinking of doing an HPT on 7/7/07. It is actually our 6th wedding anniversary and with it being the LUCKIEST day of the century, you just never know we might see a second line
Here is hoping to more "real" symptoms in the next couple days and a BFP for everyone!
Melanie- Your DH has got two kidneys, right? He doesn't need both of them...
Don't give up hope just yet- 8dp3dt is still early!!!
I just went to the Dollar Store on Buford Hwy and bought 10 hpts. I'm am always obsessed about doing them and at least they only cost a dollar. I'm thinking of starting Sat. or Sun. We are all CRAZY!!!!!
I would like to do a hpt test this weekend, but my birthday is Sunday. I am having dinner with my family. If the result is negative, I'll be in a really crappy mood, however if it is positive, it may be the best birthday ever. Decisions, decisions. I'll probably wait till monday.
Since I am not working at the moment, I'm finding my sudoku puzzle book handy. It has helped keep my mind off the 2ww, a little.
Melanie - you made me laugh about your DH selling a kidney. Keep the faith. I've read stories from other women that had negative hpt up to the date of their b/w and it came back positive. Everybody is different.

you girls really make me smile -- nice to know others are in the same boat during this very personal time - that at times can be quite unnerving with all the waiting -- but hey, we've come this far, a few more days aren't so bad...
Kerri - If you can, I'd wait to "POAS" till Monday (now that I know what that is!- thanks Stacey!) -- and enjoy your birthday celebration with your family - Celebrate yourself and all you've accomplished so far! You can always get up on Monday and get your answer, right? then, it's only a couple of days till the bloodtest -
Sudoku is a good idea to keep one preoccupied! thanks for the tip.
Jen, you are right, we are all crazy -- how bout we all wait with Kerri till Monday to try a home test??...but then I thought -- wow, if I can wait till Monday, I can hold out till Thursday...but, I'm really not sure.
Don't you wish there was a list of positive symptoms for everyone? We are all so different, no one really has any idea what is going on till the BT --
Lynn- WOW! Can you say twins? Congratulations!!! Amy -I would love to tell you that I will wait until Monday to poas, but my mother always told me not to lie- HAHA!!
