High beta numbers CAN but don't always mean twins. Think about it- if you were pregnant with twins, each one would be putting hcg into your bloodstream, so it makes sense that it would be higher. BUTmany singleton pregnancies secrete high levels of hcg, so it may just be the one. When is your next BT?

Great news Lynn! :D
There is a website www.betabase.info that shows beta values for both singleton and multiple pregnancies at different times. If I calculated you right, you are 17 days past er. On the website it shows 607 as the beta value for multiples. But Jen had a point, sometimes just one baby can give high values. Congrats!

Amy, thanks for the support, you don't have to wait around for me. I appreciate it though. I'm kinda like you though, if I can wait until monday, I should be able to wait until wednesday. We'll see....

Congratulations Lynne! That's great news!!!!!! Yea!!!!!

As for me, I'm still lightly spotting for the third day now. I have a really bad feeling about this and I'm soooo worried that this didn't work. Did any of you spot?

I'm also still getting negative hpt 7dp6dt. I know it's only been a week, but I feel like I should be seeing something... don't you think?

I'm feeling pretty blue, but trying to still be hopeful. We'll see....

Lynn - CONGRATULATIONS, Beautiful Beta Numbers, as others suggested it could be twins :)

Ladies, I have no cramping no nothing, I get scared as to if anything is happening inside or not, I just dont have appetite thats it, Its hard to remain positive, Next Thursday seems like eons away...... Just wish that the BFP wind blows on all of us waiting, that would be the best thing ever happened.......

Rockrat - I feel ya....dont give up its too early, dont poas for few more days, if that is affecting u, I know easier said than done, evn I am having negative thoughts at times.... U r nxt in line for BFP, as I said above hope we all catch the BFP dust circulating around.....

Well, I figure that I may as well jump right in with the rest of you on the dreaded 2ww. I had ET on 6/28 and testing on 7/12. It's great to start out with such positive results. Congrats to Brandi & Lynne!

I have had not real signs of pregnancy, but staying positive. I figure that it is just too soon to have any.

Looks like 7/12 is a big test day for many of us. Good to know we are together in this one.

Brandi - Please have PMA, we all hope & pray ur beta doubles on Thursday, have read many have their HCG in the teens in the early days of pregnancy, dont loose faith.

Ladies - Lets all send our positive vibes to Brandi that her beta doubles, I dont know how many of u may be interested, but if we can all do a group prayer at the same time for a minute or so like 9 PM EST that would just be great, I've heard group prayer is very effective, but if u do not want to do it thats alright.

Brandi, try not to worry yet. (I know easier said than done.) Did you look on betabase.info? Your Beta was done 14 days from your egg retrieval and it is right about smack in the middle for Day 14 betas which I think is a very good sign.

Look here: http://www.betabase.info/showDailyData. ... gle&dpo=14

I have heard girls with beta numbers in the teens go on to have successful pregnancies. I'm praying your number doubles. HUG!
