Vicky, Angie and Robbo--All I can say is sh!t. At least, that's all I can say without totally offending everyone. I'm so sorry. It just makes me want to jump up and down screaming "It's so not fair!" I love throwing a good tantrum and trust me that I am good at it---unfortunately, I'm still at work so I can't do it here, but as soon as I'm home it's tantrum city!

Sassy--Power yoga, huh? Sounds fun. I'm really missing my Pilates---and evidentaly my butt is really missing it as well. Oh well. Sorry about the toe thing.

Fee--Yeah, people are rude about the whole commenting on weight thing. I've started to take it with a grain of salt. I can't believe I'm in the third tri either--in some ways it's gone really fast, yet in other ways it has just crawled by. I'm still trying to think of a strong, masculine nickname, but I'm having trouble. The strongest person (physically anyway) that pops into my head is Arnold Schwartzenegger. But I don't think we should call your baby Arnold. How about Conan? Hee, hee.

Mel--If you end up killing your mom this weekend, don't forget the infamous IVF defense. As Sassy clarified for me recently, it doesn't matter if you're currently cycling or not--the defense still works. Not that I'm advocating murder. Maybe just a simple assault?

Vicky I just wanted to say that I am really sorry for your BFN. I hope that you can take time out to deal with it and then make a plan for the future. This sucks big time.

Robbo, am sorry to hear that things were not looking so bright for you and that your clinic mucked you about so much. Did you get your official results?

Will be back a bit later.

Ptie- you are so crazy. So what is our next goal...150 pages?

Yes, I did get my official results. It was a BFN. My IVF clinic called Friday morning (7:30) saying they still didn't have the results. So they finally ccalled the clinic that drew my blood. They said they were waiting on my progesterone levels. But did tell the clinic it was a BFN. My IVF clinic told them that with a BFN, the progesterone doesn't matter. URG!!!
My dr. is out of the country (Ireland) until July 16, so I will not speak with him until then. We will see what he suggests from there. Will definately not do FET until June of 2008 though. Just gotta keep pressing though.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. DH and I bought us an eliptical, hoping to maybe lose some weight. it is really kicking my tail. It better help me lose weight....at least 10 - 15 pounds.

Happy Page 100 to us!

Guess what we did yesteday - we drove 2 hours in the terrential down pouring rain, and picked up our puppy!!! Bellini is her name and she is precious! I brought her to work with me today to show her off, and she played for about 15 minutes and now is napping - I'll have to take some pictures and post them - I thought we lost our camera yesterday so all of the pictures are on my mom's camera... OH MY MOM!

Okay, so I didn't kill her, the visit was actually okay, my Step Father/Uncle was on his best behaviour, so that was great! And we had a fun time!!! So phew! We took them out to an amazing Skushi (that's sushi in Melissa-talk) resturant, and drank a ton of Sake Martini's then we walked over to Melting Pot for dessert - so that was amazing! Then we were supposed to go to this bar, but we were all exhausted, so we went home... it was all just delish! Then Sunday, I brought my mother to church... so enjoyed it more than she thought she would, and all of my friends stopped her and told her how amazing I was - I could tell she was tickled about that. BUT THEN IT HAPPENED! We got home from church and my mother and and Uncle Dad did IT, then pulled out a DVD from Uncle Dad's son, and put in the DVD player, it was "the first year of life" basically Uncle Dad's son's wife made a DVD of the first year of their son's life, and they MADE me sit though it and watch all of the wonders of this kid that I've never met, and don't care to, and honestly that isn't quite what I needed, but we watched it anyway.... then we went out to the best brunch ever, and then drove 2 hours to pick up Bellini! My teeny tiny Bellini! Who is freakin' adorable!!!!

So that was my weekend! And everyone is still alive! Hooray!

Robbo -Do you know anything, sweetie?

Patie- Hooray for a 2nd edition!!! Sorry about your frustrating Graphics person... do you want me to kick them in the rear? I'll do it! You just have to ask!

Alright, well I gotta let out the little one.

Kisses to you all!

So now I need a new ticker... hmmmmmmmmm?

WOOHOOO! 100 pages!!
Who would've thunk it months ago???

Mel: glad to hear your mother's visit is now complete and everyone has limbs intact. Cheeky for them to make you sit through some home video of a kid you don't know... BUT as for Bellini--- I am excited to see a picture! I am glad you hear you are enthralled with her, so now SHARE, please

Robbo: Lordy, you have been through it with these lab tests. I am bummed for you that it is a BFN. Will be interested to hear what your RE says. Why is it you would be waiting until next June for the FET? I love ellipticals... so enjoy!

Patie: I'm hoping that 2nd issue is going well. It appears Mel is our new AG... and "knowing" her... she will kick the bejeebez out of that graphic designer if you need  . I'll bet she will even make a house call out in dubai (that is, if she can bring bellini :D ).

Meg: I can't believe people actually make comments on your butt size. With the way my butt is now, I am in trouble when pregnant. I might as well just pull out the "Wide Load" sign now and get it ready...

Angie: I got that book (I had ordered it online) a few days ago.. Confronting Infertility. I looked through it a bit and I am interested in reading it (I had 20 pages in my current book so I am forcing myself to finish it first today before starting the new one. Thanks for the recommendation!! I will let you know what I think.

Me-- we had our 13th anniversary on Saturday :P . Had a fab day of lounging by the pool and what not. dh even showed up with an iphone for me (it was also my b-day-- i know, I know, why would I get married on my b-day? Long story... but don't worry... we celebrate them on different weekends!)

So, this is going out to Vicky, Robbo an Angie. Yes, I took a little liberty with the immortal words of K.T T.unstall... I substituted "sista" for lady.

H.eal O.ver

It isn’t very difficult to see why
You are the way you are
Doesn’t take a genius to realize
That sometimes life is hard
It’s gonna take time
But you’ll just have to wait
You’re gonna be fine
But in the meantime

Come over here, sista
Let me wipe your tears away
Come a little nearer, baby
Coz you’ll heal over
Heal over
Heal over someday

And I don’t want to hear you tell yourself
That these feelings are in the past
You know it doesn’t mean they’re off the shelf
Because pain is built to last
Everybody sails alone
But we can travel side by side
Even if you fail
You know that no one really minds

Come over here, sista

Don’t hold on but don’t let go
I know it’s so hard
You’ve got to try to trust yourself
I know its so hard, so hard

Hey Girls-

MEL-- she is adorable!!!! Enjoy! I'm glad you made it through the weekend. Sorry you had to be tortured at the end of it with a video. I can't really think of ANY child I would want to see a video of. Especially if it catalogued the entire first year!

Sassy- HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY!!!! My husband and I have the same b-day and he wanted to get married on that day and I had to veto that request! You are a nice girl for giving DH a break on that one!

Well I have been gone all day and have lots to do. Talk to you all later. Have a great day!
Jenn

Mel- Bellini is sooo cute. Almost makes me want another puppy. I have always said that one needs a puppy to help prepare them for motherhood. Enjoy her puppy years
I cannot believe your mother and step dad/uncle. I don't think I would have set through the video. I think I would have kindly excused myself to go use the restroom, and forgotten to return. You are a better woman than I could ever dream of being.

Sassy- Why wait....well, I have to do something with my ever growing endo. Will get the dr. feelings on that in two weeks. Then I hve to have the lovely polyp removed. So, being as I am a teacher, and only get 10 personal days off a year, and my dr. is 360 miles away.....I always do my IVF stuff in the summers. I have 6 weeks before returning to school. However, even if I got the endo taken care of now, it takes about 6 weeks to heal from that and he wouldn't do my FET before that. So.....
The elliptical is kicking my tail. I did 15 min. this morning, and have 15 more to do tonight. While I want to work out, it just about kills me. I am hoping it helps me lose weight...10 - 15 pounds at least. Does anyone have any suggestions on easy weight loss?
also Happy Birthday and Anniversary.

Hey girls-

I just thought I'd share with you that if you ever get a bottle of grape soda open it carefully!! I have just finished cleaning up my kitchen. I opened a bottle that I got this morning and it has been sitting there for 3 hours. It exploded EVERYWHERE. I opened it in the middle of the kitchen on our island and so as it was exploding i was screaming and walking it all the way across to the sink. YUCK! I cleaned it up and then mopped with pine sol and now the smell of pine sol is making me nauseous! So I have left that part of the house to avoid the smell and here I am. I don't have the energy to shower and it is in my hair. I'm pitiful I know.

Hope everyone else has had a better day. I can't complain, had my weekly u/s this morning. Have to keep the pio going, but can stop the estrogen pills and patches -yippy!

Later gators!
Jenn

Hi guys. Just wanted to wish my fellow Americans a Happy 4th of July...Hope you all have something fun to do to celebrate. I'm planning on staying indoors as much as possible--for one thing, it's about 90 degrees with a humidity factor making it feel more like 119 degrees (just what I need!) and the other reason is that my poor dog is just horribly afraid of fireworks. Needless to say, the 4th is not his favorite holiday!

Mel--Bellini is gorgeous. I can just smell her (okay, on second thought that sounds weird, but don't you just love puppy smell????) Congrats on the new family member!

Jenn--Glad to hear that your ultra sound went well (and I'm so freaking jealous....I miss ultra sounds so much!!!!! Enjoy them while you can!) Great news on cutting down on your meds...you're moving right along! Sorry about the soda--I hate when crap like that happens!

Sassy--Happy belated birthday and anniversary. Sounds like you had a great time!

Everyone else---sorry, I waited to do this until too late (it's almost 1 am here) and so I'm too tired to remember what else I wanted to say to everyone! I had a doctor's appointment today (I go every 2 weeks now that I'm in the third trimester) and everything looked great (not that I got an ultra sound mind you!!!!!) My belly is measuring right at 29 weeks and her heartbeat was great. And here's the best part---I actually lost 2 pounds these past 2 weeks!!! I was so excited as I had gained 10 pounds last month and was really starting to feel down about it. I didn't even really change my eating or exercising much....hopefully things are just starting to even out a little! I know that my weight should be the last thing on my mind and I really am trying not to stress out about it, but it is hard when the fat nurse yells at you for gaining too much weight.....but I'm not bitter!!!!!

Hee, hee. Anyway, hope everyone is hanging in there!
