:D  :D Eighteen Weeks and One day! :D

Hi Guys sorry I haven't replied for a while I have been on holiday for the last two weeks. Got back from beautiful Zante yesterday and can't believe the weather here -as my friend put it. For summer it is unforgivable!!!

The holiday was great and mum and new dads wedding was the crowning glory - not a dry eye in the house everyone was saying it was the best wedding they had everybeen to!

I went away with a load of clothes I found I couldn't fit into two days in the holiday - talk about a growth spert!!!

Drank buckets of water as the wether reached 45!!!! And averaged at 35 ish of course of the two weeks!!!

The summer air and the fun def suited me as I have really bloomed while I was away and I am convinced I have been feeling the babies moving.

The first time I thought I felt some thing was the last weekend in May when I was 14 and half weeks but now it feels more and more real. Like being kicked by a mouse or in my case mice! Also sometimes I am sure I can feel them flipping over - like they are swimmers at the end of the pool and the water sloshes around. Weird!!!!

Carebear!!!! That is gread news. I am not supprised as soon as you said about the cramping - thats what I got for months off and on - so daon't painic if it continues and gets quite intense form time to time, just rest when ever you can and let your body get on with it. Isn't IVF wonderful, and yours was clearly very hight tec and expensive - thank God it worked!!! wonderful!!! Please keep me informed - sorry I wasn't there for you during 2ww How old are you and where are you based? I am 36 and based in the south of Englandxxx

Chvonne Hello old friend. Hope you can check in from work every now and again. So glad everything is going well for you now. When is your next scan? mine is 3 weeks today and I am seeing grumpy midwife next tueday - hope to hear babies heartbeats for first time - if she can be bothered haha xxx

Stressball Hope you are well and not so stressed now. Where are you on the rollercoaster????

Hi,
I am still a stressed out person. My 1st ivf did not work even when everthing seemed to be going so wonderful.

I am glad that you can feel your baby inside, that gives a contant reassurance that everything is normal.

:D  :D :lol:Eighteen Weeks and four days :D  :D  :D

Hi Brandi,

They didn't take my beta level here in England I was suppose to wait fourteen days then take a preg test - but I started testing from day 12 when I got a BFP I take it you have done this also just reassure yourself? Just keep thinking, as long as you don't bleed bright red blood all is good. The cramping is a def possitive.

I didn't get any formal confirmation until I went for my scan at 8 weeks!!!! What a wait. And the day we went the doc he was reallly quiet and I thought of God no there is nothing there - then he suddenly turned the screen round and said well mrs it is twins!!!

Keep telling yourself now you have got a possitive your odds are very high of going all the way and each day it gets higher its already 80 something % and will be 94% after a heartbeat is heard.

Make sure you rest loads and let your body focus it energy on the new life - and drink loads of water. Keep your tummy warm and think possitive thoughts. Remember different babies grow at different rates and from what I've read beta levels really varry and double when they are ready - so try not to panic!!!!

Stressball

So sorry it didn't work for you this time. Are you going to have another go? And if so when?

Love to all,

Quita and the wiggley bumps xxx

quita, hey good to hear from you! well things were kinda scary last week after i talked to you, thurs the fifth i woke up with bright red blood spotting, and it scared the crap out of me, but i went in had my blood drawn and waited for the dreaded call, later that afternoon they finally callled to tell me my numbers, they actually a lil more than doubled they went from being 85 on 7/2 to 445 on 7/5 so of course you know i was exstatic! so all is still well they did decide to up the dosage of my progesterone, they said anything above 20 was ok and mine was at 25 they said they would like to see it a lil higher because i could have been spotting becaue of thin lining so who knows all i know is that the spotting has stopped for now. once , my levels reach 1000 and over they will do my first u/s and i cant wait to see and make sure everything is ok. i still have no pregnancy symptoms at all so ugh. anyway glad to hear all is well.
ladies, how is everyone feeling?? hope everyone is well

:D  :D  Twenty weeks and one day! :D  :D

Hi Brandy, God how horriable for you - hope everything is ok now!

I didn't have any preggy symptoms either apart from feeling tired during the afternoon and needing the loo in the night. Still who want to feel sick? Its hard but you just have to go with it and trust your body knows wha to do - the same as it nows how to breathe etc. It's hard not having control - still feel like that now from time to time.

Still playing the waiting game - this time waiting for my third scan. Its been ten weeks since the last one and I need to know they are both ok.

Asked my midwife to listen to their heartbeats but she told me they don't do that till I am 30!!!!! Bloody NHS
